CHAPTER THREE
The last week of school came shockingly fast for Andrea, she wasn't looking forward for the holidays yet she couldn't make herself stay at Hogwarts - leaving Fredrick and Anna alone with that awful woman. Andrea knew better than to make their lives worse than it already was.
"You guys remember to write during the holidays." Hermione reminds them on the last dinner they were going to have together before the new year.
"You know I won't." Ron replies before filling his mouth with chicken.
"Don't worry I will." Harry reassures her.
"Don't forget to ask your dad about ideas for pranks. I can't wait to hear if he has any good ones for us." Andrea tells Harry from the opposite side of the table.
"I'll even ask Padfoot - doubt I'll ask Moony, he would just tell me not to do stupid stuff although he was on board with most, if not all, pranks they did." Harry laughs.
"Just lie. It's the easiest thing on earth." Andrea replies.

The second Andrea arrives back 'home' she regrets her decision in not staying at Hogwarts. The house was a mess and smelled of alcohol badly.
"Ah, you're back from that weirdo school," Gina mumbles as she walks inside the room with a rather flashy dress on. "Took you long enough to get here."
"I had to take two busses and walk for twenty minutes, because you forgot to pick me up again." Andrea replies fighting the urge to roll her eyes in annoyance.
"Whatever." Gina says almost like a teenager before disappearing upstairs to her room, probably to go do her makeup for tonight.
"Andrea!" The sweet voice of Anna calls out from the kitchen before the sound of rushing footsteps were heard coming towards her.
"Anna!" Andrea hugs her tightly. "I've missed you."
"I have missed you too - so much. It's been so boring here without you!" Anna complains, her barbie holding on for dear life in her hand.
"I'll make sure the next few weeks will be fun then." Andrea replies grabbing her hand and walking inside the living room where Fredrick was watching tv.
"Andrea you're back!" Fredrick says getting up from the couch.
"I sure am." Andrea hugs him just as tightly as she had done with Anna. "So is who's hungry?"
***
What Andrea had forgotten was Gina's boyfriend, who had basically moved in over the months much to Andrea's liking.
Andrea didn't like Gina's boyfriend, Kevin, at all. He was too manipulating and abusive, always commenting on stuff and making his own rules.
"Get your ass out of that room and get to cleaning Kevin's parents are coming over for dinner." Gina yelled from the hallway that morning.
Andrea was supposed to clean, wash clothes, go grocery shopping and make dinner all while Gina and Kevin did whatever, definitely not helping her.
She was used to it, the way she was supposed to live in the muggle world. Andrea did everything just in time for Kevin's snobby parents arrived.
"Pull that skirt down you look like a slut." Kevin whispers after greeting his parents at the door, Gina showing them around the house.
Andrea looks at Kevin with shocked eyes, never had a man said anything like that to her. Her skirt was long enough, she was no slut.
"Do what I say before you regret it." He warns and Andrea pulls her skirt down although she now looked like an old aunt - her skirt reaching almost under her knees.
Andrea proceeded to stay in the hallway once Kevin walked inside the living room joking with his parents forgetting all about what he had said. And with a sigh, Andrea got herself together - only needing to survive a hell of an evening.

That night Andrea couldn't sleep, instead, she read a book - did anything to keep her mind far, far away.
God how she wanted to be back at Hogwarts.

"Merry Christmas." Andrea says on Christmas morning as Anna and Fredrick were eating breakfast, handing them a gift each.
"Presents!" Anna exclaims happily as she started to instantly remove the paper wrappings.
"Thank you." Fredrick says seeing the box of candy Andrea had been saving for weeks so he could enjoy.
"Clothes for my barbie!" Anna holds them up to show Fredrick. "Thank you Andrea you're the best!"
"You're welcome." Andrea smiles feeling happy she had made their Christmas better than it was.
