The planning was in full swing, when Aberforth clears his throat.

"Actually, you might not have to kill Nagini," he says. "I have a way to make her harmless, and that will allow us to find a way to destroy the soul fragment within her without killing her."

"But how can we do that? And why would we want to do that?"

"Both of those questions have the same answer," Aberforth grins. "You've heard everything, Aurelius?"

"Yes, father," one of the personnel says, walking over to them.

"This is my son, Aurelius," Aberforth says. "He has just completed his education at magical college, and returned to Britain. I've hired him to work here with me."

"Nagini is my old friend," Aurelius says. "She went out of her way to try to help me in the past. Now it's my turn to do the same for her."

Everything was ready. With some luck, things would go the way he wanted them to. His plan was foolproof. He wore a smug smile as he spoke the words. The very words that sent the opposition into a frenzy. He waited for the inevitable arrival of his destined foe.

But it was not him who came. Instead, it was someone else. No matter. He'll deal with this intruder the way he dealt with everything else.

"Nagini, attack!"

But she didn't. She slithered towards the intruder, slowly, and began to wrap herself around his knee, as he stroked her head with an unnerving familiarity. Then she shifted her position, wrapping herself around his waist instead, as he slowly rose up, supporting her head with his hand.

"Nagini, bite him!" Lord Voldemort commanded.

"She will not," the intruder says calmly. "She has been my friend before she was yours. She won't attack me. Now if you don't mind, we have a lot to catch up on."

He watches as the stranger walks away, taking Nagini with him. He is in too much shock to be able to react properly, so all he does is stand and stare. Once he is finally able to do something, his spell is easily deflected, not harming either the intruder or Nagini.

"You have been through a lot, old friend," Aurelius says, stroking Nagini's head tenderly. "But you won't have to suffer for much longer. We're developing the way to help you, just as you once helped me."

Then he takes a look at her, and he could tell her desire in her eyes. He nods, and undresses himself, his cock dangling freely in front of her.
