Hadrian loved three things in his life: being alone, having friends, his hair...

Hadrian hated three things: his uncle, the hospitals, his powers...

But for now, the only thing that bothered Hadrian during his trip to America was not what he intended to do with this new life, no, what bothered him was the strange shape that his hair had decided to take.
Hadrian considered himself lucky with his general looks. Jet black hair, a thin face but not too much, two large eyes, (one green-brown, the other ocean blue), a well-drawn mouth, extremely pale skin. As for the rest of his body, Hadrian felt too skinny, but it was not his fault, he liked to dress in black because this colour matched his hair and the gloves they wore whenever he went out, to prevent people from seeing more scars than they should see in their lives.
Besides, Hadrian had never understood people in general, so it was a huge surprise when he learned that the police chief of (the city) had asked him for a mission, barely a week after his arrival in the United States. In a society Hadrian knew he would never really belong to.

Because yes, Hadrian was sure, originally intended to be a hero, he was, because of certain events in his life, now destined to be a "villain"; However, since society had never witnessed this, he was going to be rejected by all.
Then came the famous question, why would the chef of the police need a former hero turned into a drop-out?

"Why would I need someone like you for the mission I am going to entrust to you, you must ask yourself. And apart from the fact that you present many disorders, as shown by the file that made of you your former establishment in England, you present exactly the profile that we need.” The Chief of Police began, as if he had read Hadrian's mind.
Maybe he did, who knows what his powers were.
"By profile, I mean a young man still old enough to go to high school, whom no one knows, who will not move away from the mission entrusted to him, at any price. Then... Do you accept this mission Mr. Potter?
-You ask me to accept a mission I know nothing about? Hadrian laughed coldly. With pleasure. »

The famous mission was actually to infiltrate a high school, and once there, find the undercover agent of a major American businessman. He himself was responsible for a large number of human trafficking, all sought for their more or less spectacular powers.
Hadrian also knew that he had been chosen because he was the sad owner of many powers, the chief of police knowing that it would attract the undercover agent. So it is as bait that Hadrian walks through the doors of the school. ~Well, if it didn't make my troubles worse~, he thought.

A week after entering high school, Hadrian had to admit that it wasn't so bad; The classes were interesting, he was finally taught how to control his powers, a large part of the school did not yet think he was crazy. For Hadrian all this was a victory considering some of the events of his childhood. However, among the various "heroes" in his class, the only person who seemed enthusiastic about becoming his friend was unfortunately also the only person who controlled fire, a power considered as dangerous even in the hands of a hero.
Her name was Susan, her hair was the same color as fire and she kept sticking to Harry, as if she thought two dangerous people together were better than one. The idea itself could very well have come from Harry, except that, not knowing how to make friends, he had preferred to reject her. In vain...

A month after the start of the mission, it was progressing as best as it could. Drago had been officially declared Hadrian's "enemy" during an altercation between the two young men, during which Drago called Hadrian crazy. Susan had defended him, on the grounds that "being suicidal raised him to the same level as Hadrian in madness". Nevertheless, nothing could have prevented the growing panic attack that the brunette felt rising in him.
Susan turned to Hadrian, clearly seeing that the boy was no longer aware of his surroundings:

"Hey Hadrian, you hear me? Would skipping school make you feel better?" she asked, trying to catch his eye. Hadrian turned to her, his eyes unable to concentrate and his breathing frozen, while he nodded mechanically.
And so they ended up on the roof of the building, Susan trying to calm Hadrian down.
"Are you okay, Hadrian?" she asked, even though she knew the answer very well. You know if it's because of what Drago said, you really shouldn't pay attention to it...
-It's not because of that... he answered between breaths.
"Could you explain to me, so I could avenge you?"
-I don't want to talk about it, I've never talked to anyone about it yet, and it's not because you stick to me all day that you will be privileged. » Harry didn't want to be mean or push her away, but in the middle of a panic attack, it was his last problem, he had to admit it.
"If you don't want to talk about it, I understand, but I'm not going to leave you alone, especially not right now." And so, they spent the next hour not speaking, sitting on the roof of the school.

Drago didn't like his life. Only hero in a family of drop-outs, he had never been able to enjoy the benefits of being a good person, his parents forcing him to act like the opposite of what he was. But well, what was good for them would be enough for him, and he would continue to play that role if it meant his father's pride and continue to mock the government.

Right now, Drago is in the training room, where students were learning how to control power.
"It's your turn Drago, put out this fire with your powers, you have five minutes. ordered his teacher.
- Leave me two, sir. Draco said with a smirk. He began, using his ice powers, to put out the fire, but his mind was elsewhere. I have a mission to accomplish, he repeated to himself, I must not change my mind at the last moment, I will not disappoint anyone, not for a drop-out like Hadrian. HE said that I should not deviate from the plan, even if there were injuries. I wouldn't shame my family. NEVER.

Even if he left behind a room ravaged by blocks of ice and a bewildered professor, at least now Draco knew that nothing would take him away from what he had to do. And what he had to do was HIM bring Hadrian back.

On her side, Susan ended up letting Hadrian go, when she saw that he was getting better. She could never have foreseen that Hadrian would fall back on Drago and what it would engender...

Later...

Drago didn't like to fight disloyally, but he had done it for good so no one would blame him. Even now that he saw his enemy surrounded by machines and scientists trying to determine his various powers, he couldn't blame himself. "Fight in the way you want but never against yours," his father told him. Theoretically, Hadrian had not been diagnosed as a "drop-out", but he would never be one of "his". Hadrian was not a hero. Drago, yes. And that's why they were enemies.

By now, scientists had discovered that Hadrian could control fire, water, air, and coulddo telekinesis. But none were on the file that had been sent to the government.
Nevertheless, Susan knew all this, because the file of the police station was complete to her. His powers, his psychological disorders, his family, everything was listed. All. Even what Hadrian didn't want her to know.

2 weeks later:

When the chief of police found him, Hadrian was delirious, scientists had been experimenting on him for a little less than two weeks to discover his weaknesses, strengths, etc. The chief had then been a spectator of a scene he did not want to remember, because when they arrived to free the teenager, he kept crying, screaming and even laughing and all this made no sense. He could only be heard repeating "sorry, it's not my fault, please, It's not me, let me go," and it tore the policeman's heart.
It had now been two weeks since Hadrian's rescue, and the only person who could calm him down had been Susan, even though the young man had continued to live on the streets and feel sorry for himself.
Susan knew she had to talk to him, especially since Drago's parents had started a huge movement across the city, since their son's "victory." Hadrian had to do something, or it might escalate between "drop-outs" and "heroes".

He did not deserve the attention of those who still supported him. The chief of police, Susan, her friends (a certain Luna and a certain Theodore), no one...
And yet it was still there:
"Can you explain to me what's happening to you, why you want to get away from everyone else, you're just giving reason to those who did this to you?" asked Susan once she had found Hadrian.
- Maybe it was and they were right. The young man confessed, defeated.
- I have the strange impression that you are not talking about the Malfoy, am I wrong?
-Probably not...
"Could you please explain?" Susan inquired cautiously, so as not to rush him.
"What can I explain?" asked Hadrian in return.
"I don’t know, maybe why it says on your file that you were interned five years ago. »

Hadrian gave her a dark look, but Susan saw that her eyes had misted when she said those words.

"Okay, I'll explain to you, but I don't want you to interrupt me."
After Susan nodded, Hadrian began.
"When I was little, after the death of my parents, my uncle, for lack of another living member of my family, got my charge, except he didn't want it. And after many strange events happened because of my powers, he started looking for ways to get rid of me." Susan felt her powers take over and wanted to go burn the man who had dared to do this to her Hadrian. "And one day he found the right way. After gathering enough evidence that I had bipolar disorder and that most of my powers were dangerous to society, he came to tell me that he had found a facility where young people could learn to control their powers. I knew I had to learn to control them, so I accepted, not that I really had a choice. Once I arrived, I realized that it was not the same kind of establishment he had told me about. »
At these words, Susan made the connection with the question she had just asked him, horrified.
"I think you already know the rest of the story," Hadrian concluded, taking a jerky breath. He then undid the collar of his jacket, as if to let more air pass to his lungs, not that it actually works.
Not knowing what to say, Susan simply hugged him, either to keep up with the rhythm of his breathing, or to show him that she cared about him, she didn’t know.

After this incident, Hadrian decided to complete the mission entrusted to him. The chief having received news of a transfer of "heroes" made by the Malfoy family, Hadrian decided to go there, hoping to find the one behind it all.
It was late afternoon when the young man reached the port where the transaction was taking place. He then sneaked between the various guards stationed there, thanks to a uniform provided by the police. Nevertheless, his goal (contrary to what his chief thought) was to be noticed by Drago, not to hide. Too bad for the mission, he had scores to settle.

"Hey blondinet, what are all these heroes, you are preparing a party? And to say that I wasn't even invited..." Harry snapped, strode towards Drago. The latter turned sharply, glanced around, as if expecting someone to arrive, then suddendly attacked his enemy without warning, with a wave of ice.
Reacting instinctively, the "drop-out" dodged the attack and responded by throwing one of the many pieces of metal lying on the harbor, thanks to his telekinesis. However, his attack was not precise because of a shadow, a silhouette, which had distracted him. He thought he saw... Noo it was not possible.

"You really shouldn't have come, Potter. If my parents don't ask me to kill you, then we'll have to take you with the other heroes. But believe me there either, you won't be in your place. As it always has been." Drago tried again to attack him, but this time freezing the ground under them. Ice that Hadrian quickly melted, deflecting the attack once again.

A few minutes later, neither opponent had gained the upper hand, but Hadrian began to anticipate Drago's attacks, ice being his only power.
Deciding to use weather as his next asset, Hadrian was interrupted by... a voice...

"You should never have come to America, boy." Hadrian's uncle said...
