James was walking the streets of New York; his family had moved a few months ago from Mexico in search of better job opportunities. He had also been bitten by a radioactive spider at the work of his best friend/future girlfriend, Lily Evans.
Life hadn't been very easy in the past few months, but at least Lily knew he was spider-man, and much against James' wishes, Lily started helping him as if she was an information center. Basically, she would infiltrate the city's police data network and steal cases so James could help close them, illegally, of course.
They had been doing it for weeks and no one had noticed that two 17-year-olds were sneaking in to steal confidential information. Except maybe someone, Regulus Black.
He was also helping to steal information, but for the other hero of the city, Ghost-Spider, or as he called her, Cissy, Narcissa Black.
She had been helping the city for several years to arrest thieves, and sometimes villains who had personal problems with her, like that bald old man who once tried to destroy and rob the Citizens Bank, but whom Ghost-Spider had defeated, thanks to whomever it was.
Regulus and Narcissa were cousins, both part of the most powerful family in the city, the Blacks.
The Blacks were the owners of Oscorp Industries. They had bought it from one Robert Osborn in 1887, when the company was bankrupt, now it had become the best company in the advanced medicine industry.
-JAMES took off his headphones and thought he had only imagined he was being called. But he hadn't.
Suddenly, before crossing a street, he could see three patrol cars speeding across the street, and a few meters behind, the shadow of Ghost-Spider. Then he knew there was trouble.
He turned off the ABBA music on his cell phone and immediately called Lily.
-DAMN STUPID BOY, I'VE CALLED YOU FOR 10 MINUTES!- she shouted as soon as the call connected.

Both heroes were on their way.
When Narcissa arrived she noticed that Agent Frank Longbottom was there, he had a bullet in his leg, as did her other 5 agents. She tried to be as quick as possible to find Alice, she knew she had done it.
Both Narcissa and Alice had stopped the Citizens Bank from being robbed, but of course, no one would mention a criminal who was wanted in 32 of the 50 states in the country.
Narcissa had tried to her be recognized, but the government demanded that she remove her mask and reveal her identity, as well as give up her place as Ghost-Spider, as she refused, so did the government. Now Alice was back to her old ways, killing, stealing and sometimes finding missing people, that is if she was in a good mood.
Narcissa came to an alley. She was glued to the walls, she couldn't risk walking and getting shot.
-Alice...- she whispered when she saw her lying next to a garbage container, there was blood on her arm.

Alice looked thinner, her rosy cheeks that came alive every time she smiled had disappeared.

Lily was always right, she had convinced him to add some artificial intelligence to the suit so they could be in contact during the missions- Ok James, come out but don't take off your mask, we don't know what Narcissa would do if they found out who you are.
James felt calm when he heard Lily's voice, he knew that she would not let him die there. So he got out.
Oh look who we have here. Narcissa put on the mask, unless you want to be arrested by Spider-man- Alice kept pointing the gun at James.
-He's just a kid... he's only a year older than...
-Regulus!- James yelled. He knew him well, he was the brother of his best friend, Sirius. And, in class he did not take his eyes off the bench that he shared with Lily, James believed that he was in love with the redhead.

James removed his mask after completely changing his clothes. He checked his cell phone and there were 27 missed calls from Lily.

James could see through the kitchen window that her mother was still making dinner and that Lily was there with her. His father was in the dining room preparing the table for five people. -JAMES!- Lily yelled when she saw him walk through the door- You and I will have a big talk- she looked mad.
