Long ginger hair glowed in the sun, while blue eyes like a clear looked at the fountain in front of him. Blue eyes suddenly turned silver, and instead of seeing a fountain filled of clear water, all he saw was thick blood running in the fountain, hearing the sound of drowned screams and plead for help. It was clear in his eyes, how the people were running from something, but what was it? The silhouette was very familiar, like-
"Ronald Weasley! Can't you here me talking!?" The glint of silver disappeared in Ron's eyes, and the fountain that h had seen covered with blood was back to it's clear blue color. A hand hit him in the head making him lower it in shame for not being able to hear earlier.
"Sorry 'mione. I just-"
"I don't want to hear it. Honestly thanks to you Harry walked alone to the classroom and I got stuck with you." Hermione huffed, her brown eyes shining annoyed. She saw Ron look down and felt bad for yelling at him like that before composing herself, and saying; " Let's hurry to Professor's McGonagall class, okay?" She said, and started to walk without looking back towards the inside of Hogwarts.
Ron looked one last time at the fountain, feeling the ghost of the screams and blood on the fountain, before walking to class, bothered by what he saw. While walking to class he started to think of these strange visions he had been having.
It all started on the summer break after Harry had helped his godfather escape from Azkaban. While Ron was walking outside the forest close to his house he had encountered this small cabin that the ginger haired boy decided to clean and use as a secret escape from his, sometimes, overbearing family.
But while he was there, he encountered texts in muggle notebooks that looked as if he had written them, all full of potions ingredients, muggle equations and chemicals, and a list of muggle weapons. He had put them aside and was even more perturbed by finding everything that was on the notebook in the cabin, hidden in a secret basement that contained a potions and a muggle set, which he layer found out was a chemical set. He found diaries, a notebook from what it looked to be form each life of a person.
He read them all, to number one until one hundred and six, and the feeling, emotions he felt when starting first to read became less and less intense, as if something without feeling was writing them. But when he reached the last page of the last book, he was terrified by seeing his name and a photo of him but older, his face scarred.
That's when he suddenly started to have these visions, as if the things written diaries were all experienced by him. War, blood, love, obsession. Everything! Ron felt like he was losing grip in reality with each and every vision. He was disassociating more and more and more.
Ron sighed, and started to try and concentrate in Professor's McGonagall class. Everything started normal, and surprisingly he understood every single detail. How the wand moved, how to pronounce a spell, how many magic he should put. He yawned. Now that Ron understood the class it seemed boring, so he closed his eyes for a second.
When he opened them, he was met with the bloody sight of his classmates drowning in their own blood, guts flying and a strange man with long white hair, sharp ears and blood red eyes muttering over him, hands slithering into Ron's face, caressing him like a he was the man's lover.
Ron felt as if he could not move from how terrified he was from this unknown person, who just got his face closer and closer until their lips almost touched. Suddenly, the ginger haired teen felt as if his fear and all other emotions he felt evaporated. He moved his hand to the neck of the other man, choking him.
The man widened his scarlet eyes, but then he smiled through the pain. Words were muttered and Ron let go of him in shock and disgust, making the man widen his smile even more. The ginger haired sight went red again, and he blink and suddenly he was back in the classroom. In front of his face wasn't a man with white hair, instead, it was Harry, his face full of worry.
"Ron are you okay? I tried to wake you but you didn't. You were extremely pale to. Do you need to go to Madam Pomfrey? I can tak-"
"No need! I'm fine. I was just tired." Ron responded with a defensive tone, looking at Harry with some kind of anger.
"Now he is worried!? Was he just faking to be my friend to steal my family? Is he really my-" Ron stopped his train of thoughts, and was terrified for even thinking that.
" How can I doubt Harry? Merlin, what's happening!?"
"That's a load of tosh and you know if Ron. You're not okay. Something is wrong with you." Harry hissed, his eyes shining with worry.
"I said I'm fine" Ron hissed back, this time more angrier. Harry glared at Ron and the ginger haired one glared back, but their discussion was interrupted by McGonagall suddenly talking more louder.
"Students, remember to practice the transfiguration charm I have taught you in theory. By the end of this week you must have mastered it and transform an object of your choosing to a perfectly shaped animal. Class dismissed!" The students of fourth year rushed outside the door to the dining room, hungry and excited. Today, the contestants of the Tri-Wizard tournament were being chosen.
While everyone was excited, Ronald and Harry were angry at each other. They got out of the classroom and started to have a discussion right away. Everyone in the hallways stopped, surprised at seeing the two bests friends fighting.
" Why don't you tell me anything Ron!? You're my friend! I can help you!" Harry yelled, his face desperate for his best friend to listen to him. Ron laughed at the word before sneering, surprising Harry.
"Oh for crying out loud! As if you tell me anything! I bet you and Hermione will be sooo happy to get rid of me! I can feel it! Now you're always with Hermione! And you never listen to my problems and dismiss me!" Ron yelled back, hate on his tone. "So why don't you do me a bloody favor and piss off from my life completely!" And with that, Ron left the hallways, and started running, and running and running.
"It's not fair!"
"Why must I always tell Harry everything and tell me nothing!?"
"I bet that when I come back I'll be classified as a vile twit that insulted the great Harry Potter!"
"Now Hermione will hate me more!"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Why!?"
"Just why!?"
Suddenly, Ron fell to the floor and yelped at the sudden pain in his ankle. Finally, he saw his surroundings, and noticed he was in the forbidden forest, where he could be killed any time. Tears streamed down his face, and he started to sob loudly, the situation dawning. He was disassociating from the world to have some strange visions that all came from the strange diaries, he had lost his best friend for being a git and there was this strange man appearing in his dreams and visions.
The sobs slowly died down, and after a while Ron looked up to se the sky dark, and fear crept on his heart. He was alone, with his ankle sprained or broken, because it looked really purple and grey, and it hurt a lot, in the forbidden forest, where many students had been killed.
" I'm so dead to the neck and up" Ron whispered to himself, and crawled to the closest tree to support himself to stand up. When he finally stood up and tried to walk, the pain in his ankle made him scream and fall. "Damm it!" He whispered and realized his mistake by screaming. Ron heard screeches and thundering steps, so he crawled towards a hole in a tree, and hid there.
Finally, when he was safe, Ron shivered, the adrenaline running down. His whole body hurt, but his ankle was in so much pain. The position he had was uncomfortable, and his mind was a mess. After some hours of being on guard, he closed his eyes, waiting to have a peaceful sleep which never came, and instead he had another vision, but this time, he was like a guest.
In his dream, there was him talking to the man whit long white hair, who had a serious gaze on his face. The other him, who looked more older and had longer hair and silver eyes.
"Silvyr, you need to do it. Even if I forget you must torment me until I can remember and stand by my side." Ron said, determination in his voice. Silvyr frowned, worried eyes looking at the ginger haired man.
"Are you sure? You will feel as if your sanity could be lost! Or even lose it!... we could both lose our sanity" Sylvyr said, and Ron nodded, determined.
"Yes. I'm sure. And if we lose our sanity, then let's do it together." Ron said, loving smile on his face towards Sylvyr, who blushed at the words, yet at the same time tears got out of his eyes.
"All right... I trust you" Sylvyr said, and hugged Ron, who hugged back.
Seeing that made Ron think, did he really said that? To a man? Suddenly he felt being thrown into a black hole, where he started to receive every memory from every past life. His thoughts, his feelings, his magic, everything! But every memory being felt and shown made him more emotionless, more unsympathetic, more numb.
"Remember Ron, you are using Sylvyr. He is the god of spirits, and already lost his sanity waiting for you for one hundred life's. Don't waste this opportunity to face a greater enemy than Voldemort. His name is-"
Ron's eyes suddenly opened, and instead of the blue they always had, it was a silver color. He looked at his hand and suddenly felt the world around him smaller than before, he no longer felt like a child, but like an old person who had passed war for years. With a sigh, he crawled out of the hole and noticed the sun creeping on the trees, signaling the night had passed. Ron's stopped crawling on the floor like a bug and looked up, seen Sylvyr, but instead of his scarlet eyes, he had golden eyes shining at seeing him. They looked expectant, as if waiting for him to say something. Finally, Ron talked;
"Sylvyr? Is that you?" the ginger haired teen said, injecting doubt in his voice. After some seconds, the spirit lifted Ron in his arms and hugged him, tears streaming down his beautiful face.
"Ron... Ron I missed you so much" Sylvyr sobbed in the teen's shoulder, making Ron tense before relaxing and hugging the King Of Spirits back, who sobbed even harder at the action. "You're back now. You won't leave me right? Right?"Sylvyr whispered, desperation in his voice. Ron shook his head at the words, his expression softening.
"Of course not. I won't ever leave you again, okay?"
The only thing that was present in that promise was the sun, and it saw the greedy smile and crazed scarlet eyes in Sylvyr face and Ron's disgusted frown.
