Discovery
The Marauders (minus Peter) were sitting in the gryffindor common room when Sirius said :
“I’m bored, let’s go walk in the forbidden forest.”
Remus and James agreed though Remus was very reluctant…
In the forest, they found a black crow surrounding… Regulus Black !?
The Marauders decided by a glance to hide and see what was going to happen. To their surprise, when the black crow landed in front of Regulus, it transformed into…
Snivilus !!!
Before the Marauders could question the event Regulus Black already started talking :
"I truly don’t understand you, you could defend yourself against Potter’s band but you don’t… Why’s that ?"
" I told you why already…"
"…"
"Anyway, why did you ask me to come here ? And is it why you’ve been absent to a lot of classes?"
The Marauders looked at each others, Sirius Black looked so surprised it was almost comical.
"It is about Lucius, I suspect that his parents will ask him to be marked soon… As for the classes, mother finally won against father, she will prepare me for the second heir position !"
'Wait, what?' Thought Remus, Sirius and James 'Second heir? But who is the first heir? … Wait shouldn’t they be happy if the Malfoy prat got the Mark? That doesn’t make any sense…'
Regulus continued "I need to know in wich side are you in this war…"
"I am in neither sides in this war, and you, what side are you on ?" Said Severus, shocking the Marauders, while Sirius was begging that his brother had made the right choice.
“As you, like every time we ask each other this question…” finally responded Regulus. Sirius was happy that his brother didn’t choose Voldemort’s side in the war, but at the same time, Regulus hadn’t choose Dumbledore’s side and this means that he isn’t protected…
“Sorry, I had to check… Anyway, apparently, your mother went to him last week” said Severus, confusing the Marauders.
“How do you know about that?” Replied Regulus.
“I saw her enter when I was waiting.”
“Did you reserve a meeting?”
“Yes, I took the trio meeting for in two weeks, as I hoped you and Lucius would come, but if he’s getting the mark… Maybe I'll ask Pandora to come”
The Marauders didn’t understand anything, who was this ‘him’? And why did they want to meet him ?
“Do you have an idea on how to stop his father ?” Asked Regulus to Severus.
“No, on the parents part I am clueless…” responded darkly Severus. "But your mother could report the Black's annual bal to the next holidays. Abraxas Malfoy wouldn't want to miss such an event. Do you think it'll work?"
“It's worth a try. We should go now, before a teacher finds us."
"Go ahead, you mustn't be seen with the halfblood Slytherin."
The Marauders were shocked, they didn't know that Snape was a halfblood.
"See you in two weeks?"
"I'll be there, Reg. You know I wil."
