Chapter 1.
“Ur kidding.” Sirius all but yells.
“Oh calm down Sirius, I haven’t even finished.” Mary says exasperated. “Just hear me out.”
“No way! My baby brother?” Sirius exclaims.
Mary rolls her eyes hard. “Sirius, your ‘baby’ brother is a worldwide sensation right now, I’m sure you know.” She makes air quotes with her fingers as she says the word ‘baby’.
“WE are a worldwide sensation Mary! He’s just, Reggie.” Sirius says, but even as he says it he hesitates. The truth is they all know how popular Regulus is at the moment, the media is all over him. With his gorgeous face, perfect acting, and promising singing career- it isn’t much of a surprise.
Mary rolls her eyes yet again, James is concerned her eyes will pop out of her head at this rate.
“Exactly Sirius, you guys are already gaining popularity at an honestly scary rate, and so a major tour with THE Regulus Black? It’ll do you wonders. So put your pride aside and realize this will be phenomenal for you lot."
Sirius sighs. “Fine. What do you all think of this?” He turns to Remus, Peter, and I. We all know Sirius and Regulus had an extremely rocky relationship since Sirius ran away from home. Regulus felt abandoned, Sirius felt angry that Regulus wouldn’t come with him. Regulus also felt lonelier than ever before, while Sirius felt guiltier than ever. They both knew that Sirius wouldn’t survive if he stayed- still, it hurt. A few months ago however, Sirius reached out again. At first he was met with resistance, of course. Because as Sirius so gracefully stated, Regulus is “a stubborn little shit.” His words, not James’s. Gradually Regulus did open up and they started meeting up at coffee shops and talking more, and their relationship is light years better than before. Still- James, Remus, and Peter have never really met Regulus. Sure, they’ve heard about him, especially after Sirius ran away and on days like his birthday- safe to say they’ve heard all about how horrible he is and how lovely he is and how much Sirius missed him. Nonetheless, James doesn’t know Regulus. And based on what Sirius has told them, truth be told James is terrified to know him. Online he seems so…unreachable. Such an, almost otherworldly force. James finds it very intimidating if he’s honest. So, when Mary approaches them after talking with Regulus’s manager, asking to go on tour with Regulus- safe to say they’re all a little stunned.
Remus is the first to speak up, he shrugs and says, “Honestly it’s no problem to me. I’m sure Regulus is fine and Mary has a point- this would do wonders for us. Also Pads I think this could be good for you two.” He looks pointedly and Sirius.
Sirius groans, he can never really say no to Remus, he told James so years ago. “But Moony!! He’s not fine. He’s- he’s-”
Remus finished for him, “Famous? Talented?”
“...Beautiful??” James adds. He honestly can’t help it. The entire group bursts out in laughter, James grins- that was the goal really. It isn’t untrue though, James doesn’t know much about Regulus but the media is right about one thing- he truly is so pretty. It’s part of what makes him seem so other worldly.
Peter’s voice snaps him back into reality. “Sirius mate, maybe we should just do it. It really would look good for us, you know.”
Sirius groans again- “Just- but- JAMES! James mate come on, you’re on my side right? This is insane!”
James is slightly lost to be honest. I mean, he doesn’t mind per say? And Mary makes a hell of a good point, because of course she does. “I don’t know pads, they’re all kind of right??” he says hesitantly.
Sirius puts his face in his hands, “Traitorrr” he whines.
James laughs, “You drama queen.”
Mary looks at them, smug. “Guess that's a yes then?” The three of them nod while Sirius grumbles a barely audible ‘fine’ from the corner. Mary all but lights up and starts typing furiously on her phone. None of them really know what to do, they can’t just leave without Mary’s OK. Mary looks up confused, as if she forgot they were there. “Oh yeah you guys can go, I’ll call you when I get a call from his manager. Bye guys!”

“No fucking way.” Regulus said immediately.
“Oh my god Reg, get your head out of your ass for a second. Think about it for like 3 seconds before denying it.” Dorcas said, incredibly sick of his shit.
“Ohh alright let’s see,” Regulus puts his head on his hand and pretends to ponder for a second. “Oh weird, the answer’s still no.” he deadpans.
“Regulus I swear to god I’m going to kill you. Look, everyone loves you- obviously. And everyone also loves them. But eventually you guys will get boring- uh nope don’t argue,” she puts a finger to his lips. “This way, you guys will be the talk of the entire world. Two incredibly large fanbases, two brothers, and who else knows what. Besides, your singing career needs something huge to really kick it off you know?” Dorcas gives him a pointed look.
Regulus sighs. “Look Cas, I’m not stupid, you know that.” Dorcas makes an ‘ehh’ noise as if she’s debating it. Regulus rolls his eyes. “Seriously, I know it would be good for us, in theory. But that’s just- so weird. Spending and sharing all that time with my brother, and especially his best friends who he pretty much replaced me for- hey okay stop no I know,” he stars when Dorcas begins to say something in defense. “I know he didn’t actually and he didn’t mean to but like, it’s what it felt like- you understand?”
Now it’s Dorcas’s turn to sigh, “Yeah. Yeah I do. But Reggie, I really feel like this would be good for you and Sirius. And just- can you please, please try? If you really want to back out after talking with Sirius and meeting his friends then you can-” she’s interrupted by her phone beeping. “Oh look! Your brother and his friends just agreed to the idea- you want to at least talk to him?”
Truth be told Regulus is rather surprised by that, Siri agreed? To take him along with his friends and share his life with him? He shouldn’t be surprised he knows, they have a good relationship now- but still. “Alright. I’ll talk to him, we’ll try. I better not regret this Meadows.”
Dorcas makes a bunch of inaudible happy noises and jumps up to hug him. “Thank you so much Reg. Me and your brother's manager will arrange a meeting for all of you, and we can sort this out. You can talk to him before that too of course, but yeah. Thank you so so much. Love you Reggiee.” and she hugs him again before typing on her phone.
Regulus truly does not like physical touch, but he will tolerate it from his best friends. He really does appreciate Dorcas, so the least he can do is hug her back. “Yeah yeah, no problem.” Even as warmth bubbles in his chest.
“Aw come onn, Reggie- no I love you back?” Dorcas taunts.
Regulus rolls his eyes, even as he tries to keep back a smile. “In your dreams Meadows.”
