Wand
Andromeda had finally been able to settle herself into the guest room when she had heard it. The quiet creaking of the floor indicated someone leaving Narcissa and Lucius’ room. At first, she thought nothing of it, assuming one was getting up to use the loo. That is until she heard Duchess, Narcissa’s hellish cat, hiss threateningly.
Andromeda was immediately on edge. Duchess had been nothing short of an angel towards her owners in the past couple of hours, so she doubted the cat would suddenly switch its tone.
She quietly slipped out of bed, grabbed her wand off the nightstand, and crept towards her door; she had left a crack open to give herself the illusion of not being alone. Andromeda peaks through the gap and sees…a girl?
“Who are you?” Andromeda throws the door open, pointing her wand at the younger woman—the younger woman who stares back at her with a smirk.
“Oh, don’t worry about that. I’m just a guest for the night.” And with that, the girl was gone.
