Before Harriet Potter has her aura worked out, and before she has met a certain Dominion Jewel who alters her mindscape, she meets Snape in a brief moment so coincidental it must be orchestrated by Fate. She and Archie brush it off, because there is no way he noticed, right? Right?

Harry stepped up to the clay jar, measuring out the necessary floo powder carefully. She tossed the powder into the flames, turning around so that she would be facing outward when she arrived. Just as she opened her mouth, she looked up, and her eyes caught those of Master Snape, who had just stepped out of the incoming floo beside her.
"Three Broomsticks," Harry managed to say through numb lips, and before Snape's eyes could do more than narrow at her, she was whisked away through space.

There is a SOW fundraiser at Diagon, and Severus must attend. It troubles him, annoys him, but as usual he subsumes those emotions into one of indifference.
He is entering the Leaky Cauldron when his life is irrevocably altered by chance. He scans the area as usual, and he starts.
Familiar Occlumency shields share the room all around him, but there is one Severus can never forget, one he knows more than most.
His eyes narrow at the figure by the floo, numbly murmuring a getaway.
Rigel, what are you—?
He is stunned. The figure has green eyes.
