why can't Eri be a vigilante too?
"Eri babe, please stop bringing toys to our patrols" Izuku looked at the child with a horn in front of him. he would never understand why she did it, but Eri always had toys instead of weapons when they went out on patrol. He also could never understand where the paint was always getting off to. But that was above his nonexistent pay grade, so he can't worry about it too much. Instead, he focused on getting his not-actually-adopted adopted daughter away from the fight zone. As he went to tie up a villain on the scene, Eraserhead fell from the sky.
"Holy SHIT" Izuku tackled his unofficial child away from the falling man. The man decided then was the perfect time to activate his quirk. Izuku bit back a laugh as he and Eri fled the scene with great urgency.
"Zuku-Zuku-Zuku check out what I've got!" Eri ran up to Izuku quickly as he finished his hacking into UA's files. He turned his attention to Eri as she showed him a plastic knife covered in red paint (At least he hoped it was paint). He smiled as his computer dinged, signaling he broke through the firewall. Izuku put Eri on his lap as he maneuvered around the UA files. He found a camera labeled USJ and clicked on it. It showed that years class 1-A walking in. A purple mist caught Izuku's eye before the feed was cut. His eyes widened as he put Eri back on the ground and went to get on his vigilante gear.
"Zuku, are you going out?" Eri's eyes widened "Can I come?" Izuku shook his head.
"No, I'm sorry Unicorn, not today." Eri nodded and allowed him to finish changing in peace. She brought him his weapons with a smile and hugged him as he left. Izuku loved Eri so much, and he hoped that wouldn't be the last time they saw each other. Izuku moved from rooftop to rooftop as quickly as he could. He got to the USJ in time to see a mist person seemingly teleport all the kids away. Fucking hell.
Izuku walked in as casually as he could. He walked right up to the mist guy and looked him dead in his eyes. "Hello, I've come to meet someone" The man looked down at him.
"And who are you exactly?" Izuku smiled a wide smile as he said in the most British voice:
"I'm the Doctor bitch" He stuck his electrical staff in the man's chest, watching as the guy fell to the floor.
"Kurogiri!" Izuku looked up to see another guy coming straight at him, hands outstretched to grab him. Izuku laughed as the mist guy, Kurogiri, just stood motionless. Izuku aimed a well place kick at the man's head. He felt his foot connect with the hand-face's head. Unfortunately, though, the guy's hand connected with his ankle. Excruciating pain radiated from his ankle as the skin seemed to die away revealing his muscular system. He smiled, knowing his Unicorn at home would be happy to see this man dead.
"I'm" He felt a knife go through his shoulder. "The" The knife was pulled out and blood started to seep into his clothes. "GODDAMN." An image of Eri swirled through his head "DOCTOR!" As Izuku yelled this, he punched the Hand-man in the face. The Hand-man let go of his ankle to grab his face as blood started to come out from around the hand covering his face.
"Ouch, you little brat" Izuku grinned a bright smile as he kicked Hand-man in the stomach. You know what, Izuku decided he was gonna start calling Band-man him Bob, like the builder. He kicked Bob in the stomach one more time before he was tossed in the air like a sack of potatoes.
"ZUKU" Oh goddamnit, Eri came. He looked to see Eri in her full vigilante get-up standing in the doorway. Izuku was not going to like this. Eri held up a bright orange and dark blue gun and shot it off at Bob. Izuku looked at Eri in surprise as she came over, using her quirk on him to heal his ankle. Those weren't toys, Izuku realized, they were fucking guns disguised to look like a toy. That knife she showed him earlier probably had blood on it, not paint.
The Pro-heroes rushed in to see class 1-A staring at Izuku and Eri like they fell from seemingly nowhere to save them. Eri smiled and announced while giggling:
"I'm Unicorn and that's The Doctor! Goodbye now!" And she and Izuku left as quickly as they came. Izuku learned later that Eri had been painting her weapons to seem less threatening to villains. He also learned that Bob and Kurogiri got away from the heroes. He sighed as Eri popped in A custom CD Izuku had made. She turned on So What and started singing along with it.
"I guess I just lost my husband. I don't know where they went, so I'm gonna drink my money, not gonna pay his rent" Izuku joined in with the music and Eri.
"Nope!"
"I've got a brand new attitude and I'm gonna wear it tonight"
"I wanna get in trouble I wanna start a fight"
"I wanna get in trouble I wanna start a fight" They both sang the last line of the bridge
"I wanna START A FIGHT" Eri and Izuku fell back into giggles as Eri crawled onto Izuku's chest, holding him tightly as she scolded him for being reckless. Izuku knew she didn't mean all of what she said, but she did tell him she would go find Eraserhead to make him stop being reckless. Izuku laughed, his first real laugh since he started his vigilantism. Eri brightened when she heard it. Eventually, both Eri and Izuku fell asleep. Eri curled up on Izuku's chest and Izuku with an arm wrapped around her keeping her from falling. Izuku knew one day both he and Eri would be separated, but today was not one of those days. That day Izuku found out about Eri's painting hobby and how good she is with a gun.
