Emma was heartbroken when she found out about what had happened last night. She was upset when Gryffindor won the Quidditch match, but she was happy to see the love of her life happy. She knew the Gryffindors throw a huge party, and Mary Macdonald was drunk, so was Lily Evans, and she knew that they kissed, and they went to their dorm together that night.
Emma Vanity was aware of Mary Macdonald’s hate on her, she was a pureblood witch, she was a Slytherin and she hang out with possible death eaters’. Why would Mary Macdonald, a muggleborn Gryffindor ever have any feelings for them?

Emma was 11 years old when she saw the curly haired girl with a ginger girl in the Hogwarts Express. ‘That girl looks cool’ they thought, little did they know that they would spend their last breath to be with that ‘cool girl’.
Well Emma had much confidence, so she asked Mary at the great hall when they were waiting for their name to come up, what house she wanted to be in. Mary answered basically “Gryffindor of course! I want to be known as a brave witch, as I already am.” She said proudly. Emma just smiled at her and told her that she wanted to be in Slytherin, that her family was in Slytherin too. Mary didn’t know much about the houses at that time, but when Emma looks back at the time, Mary wouldnt like her much.

Emma was 13 years old when they found out about their sexuality and gender. Emma couldn’t take their eyes from Mary at the time, she loved the way she laughed loudly in the great hall, the random jokes she made in classes, the way they hugged all of their friends so friendly. Emma had this feeling like she was going to faint every time she looked at Mary, she’s so lovely, they thought. When Emma talked about these feelings to her friend Amelia Bones, who was a Hufflepuff and had a brother, she told them that they maybe have romantic feelings for Mary, and that’s okay, but Emma refused and told her that was because they wanted to be friends with her.
But after a while, when they cursed some people who called Mary slurs, and Mary got angry and told them that she could defend herself, Emma cried that night until her eyes hurt. She didn’t know why she was crying, but she knew that she was hurt, that she didn’t deserve that reaction. And that was the moment she knew that she was into girls, especially the ones with curly hair who was a muggleborn Gryffindor.

Emma was 14 years old when she came out to their brother, Daniel Vanity. Surprisingly, he accepted them, and told them that they could talk to him whenever they needed to. So Emma did, Emma told him about Mary’s curls, about how loud she laughed, her favorite food, favorite lessons, her friends, her passed relationships who broke Emma’s heart. Daniel listened to all of them, asked questions, hugged his sibling, smiled and laughed. Emma was so lucky to have a brother like him, even though he was an adult, it felt like they were as old as him sometimes.

Emma was turning 15 when she saw the article about their brothers death. Emma never celebrated their birthday again. They didn’t left their room for days, Amelia was the one who dragged her or of her dorm.
Emma smiled for the first time in weeks when she saw Mary Macdonald smiling at her softly. Emma wanted to die in that moment, she couldn’t help the flowers in her stomach.

Emma Vanity was 16 when she kissed Mary Macdonald. It was a Hufflepuff party for Amelia Bones. Everyone was so drunk, Emma was dancing with a hufflepuff girl, and then she saw Mary Macdonald who stole her heart. They started dancing, Emma was holding Mary’s waist while they were dancing, and then Mary Macdonald kissed them, and they kissed her back. Emma was having a moment at the time.
So technically, Mary Macdonald kissed them.

The other day when Emma was going to talk to Mary about the kiss, she saw Lily Evans and Mary Macdonald holding hands in the corridors, so she turned back and walked to her class. Emma Vanity was heartbroken again, and this time, they didn’t have a brother to talk to.

Emma Vanity was 17 years old when she took the dark mark and joined the death eaters, she had to take revenge from the order. How did they dare to touch their brother. She knew who had killed her brother, it was Amarillo Lestoat, he was an American vampire, she didn’t know if he was in the order, but she knew that he supported them.
So Emma was only 17 when she killed someone for the first time. Her hands were covered with blood.

Emma was 19 when she saw Mary Macdonald after years. There was a chaos on a wizard street. The death eaters was going to kill a muggleborn woman and her half blood husband. The order came and death eaters and the order started cursing each other. But then Emma saw Mary Macdonald, the woman who she was in love with as a kid.
Emma decided to leave the dark side that day, for Mary. The hate on Mary’s eyes to the death eaters made Emma sick. Emma decided to become a better person TAHT day.

Emma vanity was 21 years old when she got murdered by a death eater. Emma died thinking about Mary, about her brother. And years passed, Mary Macdonald didn’t know about someone named Emma Vanity, but somewhere in England, around graves, when she saw the -Emma Vanity, 1960/1981- she felt something in her heart, like someone was squishing her heart, she felt sick. Mary went to that grave many times, like there was something wrong with it. But there was nothing wrong with the grave, there was a dead body in it and that’s all.
Emma Vanity died thinking of Mary Macdonald. Mary Macdonald spent her whole life with people she doesn’t remember in her memories.
