Cafeteria
Lily was confused, she felt sad, unloved and embarrassed. She had just found out that her girlfriend Olivia is cheating on her. Well her girlfriend didn’t know about Lily knowing. But Lily was heartbroken, how could she cheat on her after 8 months of dating? Lily couldn’t think straight.
She took her phone and called her friend, Marlene and told her to come to her place. Marlene hurried and drove to Lily’s place. When she was there, she saw Lily in denial, sitting on her sofa.
Marlene took running steps towards Lily, and hugged her. “Hey, what’s wrong?” She asked softly. Marlene and Lily was best friends since school, they had other friends tho, and one of them is now Marlene’s wife. But Lily felt safer around Marlene, she had that energy so you could talk to her whenever you want.
So Lily talks, she tells her everything, from how they met, how she fell in love and how she found out that Olivia was cheating on her. Marlene listened to her talk, gave some reactions, and hugged her.

“Lily, get up! You can’t spend rest of your life like this!” Yelled Marlene while she was trying to wake Lily up. When Lily opened her eyes slowly with shock, Marlene stopped dragging her. “What the fuck do you want Marlene? It’s literally 9 am, let me sleep!” She screamed at her and turned her back to Marlene, tried to fell asleep again.
“I said, get up.” Marlene sounded fake angry now. Lily finally turned her face to Marlene, and looked at her with an annoyed face. “What do you want Marls?” She asked tiredly. Marlene had a huge smile on her face while she started talking. “You can’t live like this, sleeping, waking up just to eat and sleeping again. So we are going to find someone for you! Like come on it’s been three months!” Lily looked at her with confusion, but sat up on her bed.
“So how do you think I’m going to find someone? I don’t even need someone, Marls! Just let me be.” She yelled at her softly. But Marlene won’t let her be, if she said she will do something, she definitely will. So she dragged her out of the bed and forced her to take a shower. While Lily was in the shower, Marlene was choosing some clothes for her. She had talked to her friend, he would be at the cafeteria at 2 pm.
When Lily got out of the shower, Marlene left her room to let her change. And when she was finished, Marlene helped her with her make up and hair. Lily was definitely ready for a date.
Marlene dragged Lily to her car, she was driving to the cafeteria they were going to meet. When they arrived, Marlene screamed “James!!!” To the young man who had glasses and curly hair. He screamed “Marls!!!” As a response and the girls walked to the table he was sitting on.
Lily say on the chair who was in front James, so she could see his face, while Marlene sat to the chair next to her. “I’m Lily by the way!” Lily introduced herself to James. “And I’m James, as you probably know!” Lily loved his energy!
So they talked, they talked about their favorite flowers, artists, colors and what they did on their free time. While they were talking about these things, Marlene went to the bathroom and never came back.
They liked each other and decided for another date, next week at the beach. Their chemistry matched, and it was a good thing. Both of them had been in shitty relationships, and had to let it go, so they were going to help each other.
