Kyuushi + Soyako

Oc page-Look away from this disgrace of mine

N: Kyuushi

G: female

Original Hair color: vibrant red

Original Eye color: white (since it’s a byakugan)

Height: 5‘9

Cup size: C

Age in a set story: 261years

Birth date: before the warring states period began

Life expectancy: effectively immortal

Clan: legally an Uzamaki (at least in her time) half Uzamaki, 1/4 Hyuga, 1/4  Senju

Her favored weapon is a crescent bladed spear but she was trained to use others if she needed to.

Personality tidbits: Kyuushi is not cruel, if she kills someone it’s quick and if someone needs a mercy kill due to a horrible sickness or extreme starvation that they won’t  recover from, she makes it completely painless. She is mostly apathetic towards other people in general and gets easily annoyed if another human tries to keep her from leaving wherever she is. She has no reservations about killing other people if they irritate her enough. Kyuushi would never kill a kid on purpose, but if she accidentally did, she would just feel minor disappointment in herself about it. She only really feels positive emotions when she’s around animals or when in response to Soyako. Kyuushi doesn’t really have any goals except to keep herself and Soyako safe. They mostly just roam around the lands doing whatever sounds interesting at the time. Fun fact- Kyuushi once joined the Akatsuki for a spell just because Soyako dared her to. During the warring states period, Kyuushi and Soyako raised a whole ass forest with mokuton to act as a refuge for animals who’s homes had been burned or cut down by the fighting humans. She guarded the place very throughly making sure no humans would intrude upon or damage it. She and Soyako don’t have a permanent home, but if they did, this forest would be it. If another human is friendly or kind to her, Kyuushi will usually help them with whatever they’re doing if she has no other plans for the time being. It doesn’t matter who they are or what task they’re trying to complete. They’re a farmer weeding their fields? Of course she’ll stay a couple days to help. They want to take revenge on the person who killed their family? You better believe she’ll track them down for you. What’s that? You need to steal money to start up your illegal weapons trade? Well, you offered her some cake and a kitten, so she knows just the place to rob. Here’s the schedule for their guard rotation.

Some Jutsus possessed by Kyuushi: Uzamaki Adamantine sealing chains, Uzamaki attacking chains, Uzamaki Fuinjutsu Master, all kinds of the eight trigrams Jutsus taught by her Hyuga grandfather and half Hyuga mother, all eight divination signs jutsu, all gentle fist and gentle step jutsus, excellent  taijutsu master. She‘s had a lot of time to learn things alright. She is proficient in most high level lighting release jutsus. Odds are, if you can name it she can do it. She can do most mokuton techniques and has created countless other jutsus in lighting, wood, water, and cloning. She can heal flesh wounds and broken bones but that’s about it (Merging with Soyako paired with her natural Uzamaki healing made it irrelevant for her to learn any further healing abilities unless she had to heal an injured animal).

•she is capable of doing her part in the four cardinal directions lightning jutsu that can level large villages.

•Her byakugan has the same strength and abilities of Lady Kaguyas byakugan and her regular vision even while it’s not activated is exceptional even for a Hyuuga

•After fusing/merging with Soyako, Kyuushi’s appearance along with her life force and chakra were altered by it. While a normal jinchuriki would only resemble their biju and use their chakra periodically, due to Kyuushi’s merging with the twelve tails Soyako, biju chakra is constantly flowing through her pathways because she changed her own chakra source to more match that of Soyakos demonic chakra, causing her to produce a chakra that is directly connected to Soyako’s. This constant flow of Soyakos chakra mixed with hers, permanently changed Kyuushi’s genetic makeup, leading her default appearance to be similar to what her normal jinchuriki form would have looked like originally if she had been able to achieve it. Weak or moderately strong genjutusus have no effect on Kyuushi and Soyako. It would take someone with a remarkably strong sharingan to ensnare either of them, and even then it would not take them long to throw it. Her byakugan eyes along with her hair didn’t really change that much. They are still white but they no longer reflect light and are very unsettling to look at as anyone can tell that there’s just something inherently wrong about them. Her red hair appears to have a darker blood tint than before the summoning realm, and falls to her mid-back. Over time her skin turned very dark and the contrast between her hair, eyes, and the rest of her body is cool looking. It’s not an African American kind of black but it literally radiates darkness- or does it suck in light like a vacuum? Her mere presence makes people severely uncomfortable whether they are aware of her or not, due to the demonic chakra she emits. If a person were to touch her skin, they would feel a sensation of attacking fire ants originate from the point of contact and continue to the rest of their body until they ceased touching,—and even then it would take some time for the sensation to completely fade. If she actually pays attention to the chakra radiating from her skin she can make it burn so much worse and leave lasting visible and internal damage. She constantly has at least two lion tails made of black, burning chakra and her sage mode puts thick gold around her eyes that slope down the sides of her face ending on her lower back. If she chooses to, she can draw on more of Soyakos chakra to increase her strength and will subsequently enter a more devastating jinchuriki form, with more tails and an increasingly demonic appearance correlating to the amount of extra chakra she draws on. If she keeps drawing extra chakra from Soyako for an extended amount of time, Soyako will likely get annoyed by this and take over to deal with the threat herself ‘because obviously her dumbass of a friend can’t handle it’.

Most of the time Kyuushi doesn’t like when she does this.

Family: Her grandmother was a senju and her grandfather was a Hyuga. Her mother was their third born and only daughter and did not manifest a byakugan. Her mother married the Uzamaki clan head and chief of Uzioshio. The Uzamaki and Senju became closer with the Hyuga clan and they often collaborated with each other on missions and business. Kyuushi got the best aspects from each clan. She got the byakugan from the Hyugas, the Mokuton from the Senjus, and the life force and crazy strong chakra from the Uzamaki‘s. She became the Uzamaki heir when her brother went mad with Jealousy and attacked her.

Kekkei Genkai: Byakugan & Mokuton

Rank:No one alive has a prayer against her (just lady Kaguya…maybe)

Chakra type: Electricity release and earth+water (forming mokuton wood release)

Status: unknown jinchuriki of the 12 tails. She was the very first jinchuriki  (aside from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and sage of six paths) as in her time the 9 biju roamed free and weren’t imprisoned until the humans started trying to use their power for war. In this AU they needed the twelve tails neutralized right then and couldn’t afford to not attempt it’s imprisonment.

The twelve tails name is Soyako. She chose her own name and Kyuushi helped. She is one of the only 2 artificially created tailed beasts, but was created through a completely different method than and before Kojin. Kojins creator had no knowledge that Soyako had been created and so they came up with their own method which resulted in the creation of a relatively weaker, less intelligent biju. The process that created Soyako was horrific and included continuously siphoning chakra from thousands of people over several decades until they died. Soyako is a bit stronger than Kurama and the jubi. Her form resembles a ginormous, black, female lion-and is 3/4 the size of the jubi when released at full strength. She is made of immensely powerful demonic black lightning chakra. She accidentally killed everyone in her radius when she was formed. Her chakra was so unnatural and destructive, she poisoned and burned the land wherever she went in the year she roamed.

•Kyuushi became the jichuriki of the 12 tails a year after it was created, when she was 28. The Senju and Uzamaki clans were enlisted to subdue it instead of any of the other chakra beasts because out of all the biju, she was causing the most destruction to life. Kyuushi had been the Uzamaki’s clan head for 11 years at that point. Since she was the member out of both clans with the most chakra, she did the logical thing and volunteered to be it’s vessel. Their joint mission was well planned and there were minimal casualties lost when it was all said and done. It took 16 fuinjutsu masters from across the three clans, using Uzamaki seals, while 4 Uzamakies themselves (including Kyuushi) used their powerful sealing chains for the twelve tails to be taken down and sealed inside of Kyuushi. Mokuton techniques were ineffective against Soyako’s chakra. It took a long time after Soyako was sealed for the areas her chakra poisoned to return to life. For many years the humans referred to these areas as trails of death because you could easily follow her path of destruction.

Summons: When she was 32, Kyuushi entered and explored the dimension where the summoning animal clans lived. She came here with the hope that her and Soyako could become more in sync with each other’s life forces and chakra so that Kyuushi wouldn’t eventually be killed by Soyakos chakra.

•In Soyakos few years of existence, she was feared and hated by the humans so she had no real understanding of what they were or that they were even sentient like her, until she was forced into Kyuushi and a link between their minds formed. At first, Soyako felt only fury at her imprisonment. She raged and howled within Kyuushi, demanding her freedom and baying for the blood of all who wronged her. After some time, her rage became silent, but still there all the same. Kyuushi spoke to Soyako often throughout her daily life (whether she responded or not) and continuously let her see the world through her eyes. Soyakos fury was lessened through these interactions, and seeing that these creatures she so despised were not completely terrible all of the time caused her to be much less violently mad in her  conversations with Kyuushi. Over the years, Kyuushi taught her about this frightening new world she was brought into. Soyako was quite intelligent and innately curious by nature, so once she temporarily set aside her desire for vengeance, she was able to learn very much in 4 years. Soyako had grown fond of this odd little human she was stuck with, who was patient and unwavering in the face of her violence and overwhelming emotions. Kyuushi taught her all she wanted and needed to know. There was just the matter of their chakras.  Whenever Kyuushi tried to access Soyakos chakra (with Soyakos permission of course), she would feel much pain and her chakra pathways would start deteriorating. They would have to immediately stop and let Kyuushi’s body heal itself due to the remnants of demonic chakra still in her system attacking any of the healers chakra when they tried to help her. You see, Soyakos demonic chakra was a sharp and brutal, overwhelming, burning strength, while Kyuushi‘s chakra was of life and healthy energy. Their chakras were incompatible, and if nothing changed between their systems, Kyuushi would ultimately be consumed by Soyako’s raw, all encompassing, burning lifeforce, that was gradually creeping up on her own. When this inevitability was realized, Soyako didn’t know how to feel about it. On the one hand, it was Kyuushi‘s kind who forced her existence into the world and then cruelly imprisoned her when they failed to properly plan and guide her early life. She should feel joy and satisfaction that not even their strongest could properly contain her, that she will be released upon the world once more when Kyuushi dies to seek destruction. On the other hand, she feels a strange stabbing twist within herself at the thought of causing Kyuushi’s death. Her first and only friend who‘s never feared her or treated her with disdain. Who calmed her fear stemmed rage with patience and understanding and didn’t shy away when Soyako‘s anger would inevitably turn to her in frustration. No, she did not want Kyuushi to die—she would not allow her to die. Together, Soyako and Kyuushi searched doggedly for an answer to this problem. They combed every scroll and tome on chakra and chakra beasts they could find, looking for ways to properly harmonize their chakras. They became interested in the summoning realm, a place where chakra is able to be in total balance with the inhabitants that reside there.

•Kyuushi and Soyako spoke to experienced summoning masters and convinced one of them to get their summons to bring them to the summoning dimension. While there, they were able to learn about and understand chakra in ways they had never thought of before, learning from various summoning clans how to modify and merge chakra. After 23 years of dedication and learning, thanks to their creature teachers, they had gradually become able to change their respective chakras in a way they could fit together like puzzle pieces and became inseparably intertwined. Kyuushi is a sage now and her life force partly resembles that of a biju, more specifically, her biju. Her sage mode lines her eyes with thick gold that slopes and curves down the sides of her face going over her shoulders and stops at her lower back. Her eyes themselves are supposed to change as well but the biju chakra interferes too much for it to be noticeable. The changed chakra that flows through her is unlike any other humans. Instead of her having to siphon chakra from Soyako like any other jinchuriki would do with their respective charges, there is a constant flow between them that mixes their chakras together. Any competent sensor would tremble in fear and bewilderment as soon as they got a hint of their oppressive dark, burning demonic signature. While before merging, Kyuushi already had her ginormous chakra reserves even for an Uzamaki, now her reserves are far greater than even an Ōtsuksukis. Soyako’s chakra makes Kyuushi have the same lifespan as her, so unless some unbelievably strong, goddess Kaguya level opponent manages to destroy them, they’re not going to die any time soon. Kyuushi’s scars didn’t completely disappear but they did darken. She looks like a deamon and her aura agrees with anyone who thinks she is. It is effectively impossible to separate Kyuushi from Soyako since they’re so intristicly intertwined. If something somehow completely forced them apart, Kyuushi would die but her life essence would permanently merge with Soyakos and they would reform together after a time. Kyuushi cannot be burned or hurt by Soyakos demonic chakra like others would. If Soyako got free from inside Kyuushi somehow, they’d still be so connected that Kyuushi’s physical form will just migrate into the center of Soyakos monumental being. Soyako has no love for any humans besides Kyuushi, so if she gets out and Kyuushi is safe within her, you can bet your ass she’s gonna go on a violent rampage and destroy every sign of human life she can find. Eventually once Kyuushi’s consciousness stirs, Kyuushi can usually talk Soyako down pretty easily and guide her back into the seals. Then they get the hell out of there and go into hiding for years until the excitement dies down.

•After spending 23 years learning and applying to merge their chakra, they spent 42 more years in the realm roaming and learning extensive nature chakra. Kyuushi learned senjutsu from the ancient creatures there and by the end of their adventures in this place, she was a skilled sage and very…veryoverpowered. After her and Soyako merged their beings, they met the clan of cassowarys and formed a summoning contract with them after Kyuushi proved her worth to their chief. The cassowary clan resides in an immense and eerily quiet forest. Their chiefs name is Durja. He’s ginormous and has as much chakra and power as any of the sannins summons. He can beat Katsuyu and Manda in a one on one fight, but he would be more evenly matched with Gamabunta. Durja is crafty and intelligent. He is an excellent strategist and is on relatively peaceful terms with the adjacent summoning clans, though most members of them besides their respective chief’s, secretly fear the cassowary’s more than they should. Durja has never desired his clan to be intertwined with humans, he accepted Kyuushi as their first and likely last summoner because he was intrigued by how her and Soyakos power had become one, and their crushing abilities that could undoubtedly defeat even him. The Cassowary clan are nomads and mostly solitary. Their forest is so massive they won’t often run into another member unless they mean to. They meet together every decade or so to trade information and assess their numbers. After proving herself to various members and eventually their chief, Kyuushi was accepted and taught many fighting skills from the cassowary’s while she was with them. By gaining their trust and favor she was allowed to attend several of their gatherings and eventually with the agreement of many members, formed a summoning contract with them. Before she left to return to the ninja world, Durja gave her permission to summon him personally if there was ever an important battle she and Soyako could not win alone. She is welcome in the Cassowary clan if she ever desired to visit.

Traauummmaaa

•when she was 5 her grandmother was killed in front of her, protecting her from an enemy group to the senju clan

•her Uzamaki father was killed in battle when she was 9, leaving her mother in charge of the clan until her older brother -who was heir at the time- turned 17.

•her grandfather and her mother put her through grueling training since she was 5 and a half to make her the strongest ninja in their clan so they would know she could protect herself

•Her older brother viciously attacked her when she was 12. He inflicted severe burns to her lower face, chest and most of the left side of her body. He slashed her throat, damaging her vocal cords. He did this because he was very mentally unstable and despised her for inheriting the byakugan when he did not. Other clan members found them before she bled to death and saved her. He was caught, beaten, and publicly executed all in that same day.

•not traumatic but Kyuushi mainly communicates through ninja sign language since it’s hurts too much to talk.

•her family loved her but they hardly ever made it known, always pushing her to be better than she is, making her feel like she was never good enough for them. She often worked herself into exhaustion as a child.

•When she was 15, she was sent out on a mission with a close friend of hers to bring someone in, but they betrayed her and set up an ambush. She was tortured by their group for 2 months, with them trying to get information about all the clans that only she and the clan heads knew. She managed to survive due to her Uzamaki vitality and natural healing abilities. She unlocked her mokuton abilities then due to her stress, pain and desperation. Using mokuton she escaped one night and returned to her clan. They were enraged by what had happened to their heir and launched and all out raid on the people who took her. With the fury of the Hyuga, Senju and Uzamaki raining down on them, they were swiftly and violently annihilated.

End of trauma

•everyone in the clans knew that Kyuushi was going to undergo important training within the summoning realm. She was already clan head at this time so she appointed a trusted member of her inner circle to take over the clan while she was gone. Kyuushi knew that when she returned it would not be likely she would resume leading the clan. She knew her ally would be strong enough to defend the village for her if need be. In the 65 years that she was gone, the clan members passed knowledge of her down to the younger generations so if she ever returned, the clan would not have forgotten her.

•After 65 years, Kyuushi and Soyako left the summoning realm and returned to the village. At this point, the warring clans period had begun and everyone was constantly prepared for battle. The current clan head was the successor of the one she chose and accepted her back into the clan. At this point she had been something like a myth within the general population of the clan. They spoke of the old chief who held within her a violent beast of fire and death. Who left their people to tame the creature and return one day when she is able to harness the demons power. The clan elders that still remembered her welcomed her back with joy (and hidden fear) at her new strength. They fully informed her of the state of affairs in the land, and it was not difficult to convince Kyuushi to fight for their people. Kyuushi personally defended their home village, never allowing enemies to strike the place where their children and vulnerable members of the clan were held. If there was an especially difficult battle drawing near that they did not believe could be won, they sent Kyuushi to destroy them. In this AU Uzioshio and the Uzamaki’s were not destroyed, Kyuushi helped decimate anyone who tried. When the wars were over and peace came, the civilians of Uzioshio inevitably came to fear her more now that they weren’t depending on her. No one dared to insult or harass her, even the most stupid and ignorant people instinctively sensed that that would be a death sentence. Eventually, they collectively VERY politely asked her to leave to village, but that she was welcome to visit. Kyuushi wasn’t insulted by this, as she had become bored of it as well and was already planning to leave. Even though she was revered as a hero (and some considered her a goddess of death), everyone let out a sigh of relief once her foreboding presence left the island.

•In modern times (Naruto’s childhood goddamn it-fuck Boruto), there are rumors about the Jū ni-bi. In civilians’ stories, they say it takes the form of a human. They say that at first glance, the twelve tails appears to be a shadowy cat-resembling person who’s chooses to shape its image as a woman. But that is only first glance. Quickly, anyone in her presence will realize that her calm shadows are false, but by then it’s too late, and her black fire is already consuming you.

In the shinobis’ stories though, it’s a little different. Accounts from survivors of battle fields where the Jū ni-bi once raged tell of a lone Uzamaki. An uncanny woman with stunning red hair, redder than blood, that grows long from her head and sways darkly in an unfelt wind. They recall with horror-touched unfocused eyes and a faint voice how the strange woman had melted and grown, being replaced in mere moments by a colossal beast-an abyssal, molten, felinesq creature more colossal than any mountain climbed by human hands. None of those who begin their recollections like to talk about what happens after, and after the Kyubi’s attack, the listeners think they might understand why.
