Prologue

Dumbledore looked through the pile of paperwork that had gone unnoticed as of last week. The chosen one was to start school this autumn and with that came a lot of works by excited wizards who looked forward to young Harry who was to step into the wizarding world. Young Harry would be overwhelmed, but Dumbledore was curtaint great things would come his way.

A knock on the door disrupted the silence he had been worked in. He eyed the door for a second.

"Excuse me, I have some words of concern from the magic of ministry," a voice came from behind the door, it was squeaky as if the person was afraid. He got the paperwork to vanish before he gave the very command: "Please come in."

A tiny person emerged from behind the door, they looked quite nervous. The silence seemed to stretch beyond the office they currently were in. "Go on," Dumbledore prompted, the person clearly was not used to giving these types of messages. Perhaps a new worker at the ministry of magic? Or it also might be a unique message at that.

"We the magic ministry of Britain have received a request by the magic ministry of Japan and Egypt," that got Dumbledore's full attention who had started to look at a painting of the third Hogward`s headmaster of the history of the school. What could the magic ministry of Japan and Egypt possibly want? They haven't requested anything in the last hundred years, because they are very capable on their own too. He might admit they are more capable than the british ministry of magic.

"And what may that be?" Dumbledore asked intrigued. "There seems to be some students that are supposed to start at their countries` respective schools that they want us to take care of instead,'' comes the answer out of the tiny person. That was quite baffling as the last time they inquired help was certainly not for a case like this. The last time was to ask for help with the first wizarding war in Japan. Last time Egypt asked for help it was to fight against evil forces in Egypt who had messed with some negative energies and caused an imbalance between them. In turn they had helped Britain with curtain difficulties.

"Why is that? Did they give us a reason?" he questioned, there were some problems that came with transfer students from other countries. Language barrier was one, but that one could be fixed by a spell. There was something new stirring in the wizarding world of Britain and countries nearby. He could feel it in the air. It could be a potential danger for those who did not have anything to do with it. Plus there was a major cultural difference between the wizarding worlds of Britain, Egypt and Japan. Spells, potions and other potential classes are different, history is a certain major difference between the countries. Well, if there was no other way he would just have to give the classes for that year some lessons on those cultural wizarding worlds. They should have had that inventory already, but due to curtain difficulties that had not been placed in the learning books.

"They reasoned that they believe that this school would have a better way to go about these students since they are not your normal typical students. They believe that with cases like these you would have a better way of handling it since you had access to a wide range of information and had a way of finding it too," the person reasoned. Special case students? He has had some of those, but Egypt and Japan were also exceptional with those too, this must be out of their knowledge then. That was strange, because both Japan and Egypt had resources for much more ancient magic and other types of magic than he did. Since they went out of their way to even ask in the first way, then he might as well obliged to their wishes.

"Well, I can't see how it will hurt if we took in some more students, they do have the right to education after all," Dumbledore stated. The person nodded and reached for something in the bag they had with them. It looked to be some papers and files. It looked like the times forward would be busy times. New students from other countries at that.

"Here you have the letter they sent and the profile of the students they requested you take in," the person informed before they took a step back. "If you will excuse me, I will be on my way," they said before they were out the door. Dumbledore did not pay attention to the person, but turned his focus to the papers.

Dumbledore took a glance at the letter first, it seemed that Japan and Egypt had sent it joint instead of separate, which meant that it perhaps was a similar situation. The letter confirmed what the person had informed him of, that there were six students that would be appreciated if he took in.

Then he took a look at the profile of the potential students. It looked like all except for one had residence in a city called Domino which was in Japan. Yugi Mutou, Atem Sennen, Bakura, Ryou Bakura and Seto Kaiba. The last one who residented in Egypt was called Malik Ishtar.

There were two Bakuras which threw him off and one of them didn't seem to have a last name. That was strange, that might cause a mixture of trouble, but the circumstance that it appeared in would surely clear that up? Either way it can't be that hard to take care of. Ryou was one of the Bakuras' first names, but this would have to be taken up on a later date.

He could take in all these people, it wasn't a problem. He started to write letters to both the magic ministry of Egypt and Japan that he had accepted and would take care of it. Then he went on to write letters to all the exchange students in their respective language by using a language spell on himself.

He wondered what this turn of events would bring, perhaps something unexpected. This whole situation was strange in the first place.

Little did he know that the whole wizarding world was in for a ride the next few respective years...
