Her friends left. Yuri stayed with her. She decided to spend the night with Kitty.
"You're not going to be in trouble with your mom if you don't go home tonight?" Kitty asked her.
"No. I told her I need to cuddle with my girlfriend." Kitty gave her a knowing look. "Well, I didn't tell her exactly that but she says it's fine. Now, come here."
Kitty runs into her arms. Yuri stroke her hair gently. She guide her to the sofa and made her lay on her lap.
"You know you can always talk to me. I'm here for you." She reminded her.
"I know."
"I mean it. You're always there for me. Let me be there for you."
"I was just… ashamed. I know it was wrong. I'm just insane." Kitty sighed.
"I don't think you're insane for missing your mom. Do you wanna talk about it or her?" She kisses Kitty gently on the lips. "You don't have to if you don't want to. We can talk about anything else."
"No. I think I wanna talk about her."
"Go on. I'm listening." Yuri kept stroking her hair.
"You know, I don't remember a lot about my mom. All I know about her is what people told me about her. All I have is others people memories. When I heard her voice, I felt like I could create my own memories. I could talk about all I ever wanted to talk with her. It felt like having her back, or just having her for once. I can't believe I let myself fall for a robot." She sobbed. Yuri hugged her tightly.
"It's okay, honey. Let it out. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard it is for you. I understand you want to have your own moments with your mother."
"But?"
"No but. I understand. It seems to be hard." Kitty sniffed.
"You're not supposed to say something like 'But you have to move forward. Your mother would not you to feel this sad' after that." Yuri laughed a bit at her ton voice imitation.
"I don't think it's what you want to hear. And I think you're allowed to be sad and have a breakdown from time to time."
"Thank you. People never understand this lines are rude and make me feel worse."
"Well, I do." Yuri smiled. "And no one can tell you how you have to feel about it. I just don't want you to get hurt. Promise you talk to me whenever you feel sad."
"I promise. Thank you for being there." Kitty told her, gratefully.
"You don't have to thank me. I love you."
"I love you too."
They kissed and Yuri spent the night cuddling with Kitty until she fell asleep.
"Good night, honey. I'm always there for you." She kissed her cheek before falling asleep too.
