Min Yoongi's Letters
September 1st,
To our youngest son,
Your father and I wish you the best of studies during your fifth year at Hogwarts. The sooner you complete the courses, the sooner you can find where you really belong. Do not let this year be the same as last, you are much smarter than that. We did not wish for you to be grounded all summer, but it was for the best. Make new friends in your house, and watch your Potions grade this year. Make a name for yourself.
Your Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Min
October 4th,
To our youngest son,
Be more mindful of your studies. If needed, find a tutor in your house and complete any and all extra work. I have multiple professors sending me your test scores, and your father and I agree that we expect better. Perhaps that broom sport you play is a distraction and it’d be best if less time was devoted to it. If that is not the case, then look for the cause of your problems closer. I was informed you still are galivanting around with the Head of Ministry Spending’s son, and while he is tolerable, he is not of your house. He will have no purposeful connections in the future, so remember he is merely around for entertainment.
Your Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Min
October 23rd,
To our youngest,
You will not be coming home this Halloween Break, or Thanksgiving Break. Your father and I are increasingly busy with work. We also do not wish to see you while you disrespect us by not sitting with your house. I specifically told you to make acquaintances with other Slytherins and you have directly disobeyed me. We will not tolerate this disrespect to our family name.
Your Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Min
November 16th,
Son,
I just received word you have met a Slytherin boy, a Park? While half of his family is respectable, the other is simple Hufflepuff trash and bastards. Your mother is disappointed in your lack of initiative for making connections and your studies. While we are mildly happy you met another Slytherin, do not let him lead you astray. No doubt his tainted blood has inhibited his ability to make proper decisions, and it is our utmost concern it does not taint you. As for your friend, the son of Mr.Kim, we expect you to end your relations with him soon.
Your Father, and Mother
December 5th,
To our youngest son,
Your father and I have received delightful news from long time business partners we previously thought dead. We are overjoyed and we wish you to come home soon to discuss your future plans. If you proceed to misbehave and ignore our letters, then you will not be welcome home again this summer. As for your letter, we know very little about your brother’s colleagues who are on the move. We do hope they stop by for dinner before the insufferable Ministry catches up to them.
Your Concerned Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Min
January 2nd (Current Date),
Son,
Come home immediately. This is no longer me asking, but telling. We have urgent things to discuss regarding this family and it is imperative you are present. Not only do we have to discuss the future, but you are called to come to Manson and Jameson's funerals. I also heard word from Mr.Kim in the Department of Ministry Spending that you sent an owl to see him. You are foolish and no brighter than a mudblood to reach out to him. Keep your owl under control. Whatever you need, write to your mother and I. Nevertheless, come home at once, or we will come and get you.
Mr. Min
