Remus lupin has always been some sort of a nerd, whether it was staying up all night to study or spending his Saturdays in the library. there was no doubt about wether Remus was a nerd. Well that was until Sunday morning,
“Pete hurry up! I don’t want to miss breakfast” shouted james from the bathroom while brushing his teeth.
“Oi! I’m not the one who unplugged all the alarms” wormtail said as he glared towards Sirius as he shot a massive grin at the smallest boy who just rolled his eyes.
As the oldest boy, James, sat on his bed tying his shoelaces, It finally dawned on the smaller boy that he has nothing to wear.
“James!” Squeaked the blonde boy. “I forgot to leave my dirty clothes out for the house elves, I’ve got no clean clothes!”
“It’s your own fault for not leaving it out you daft git” said the black heard boy while laughing at the others misery.
“You two stop bickering” James said as he hit the laughing boys leg. “Pete just go into Remus’s truck and get one of his sweaters, he won’t mind”.
“Ok” said the younger one in return
As the boy walked over and looked into the trunk he saw something truly unexpected.
“um guys” he said, his voice with a slight tremble in it “you should come look at this”
As the two boys on the bed got up they gave each other a look of confusion. “What is it Pete-“ the oldest one tried to say until he was cut of by the sight of what was in the case.
Remus’s trunk was filled with cigarette boxes and to the side there was a bag filled with money.
As the three boys stared at the trunk in disbelief for what seemed like eternity the silence got broken,
“So I guess we ent’ going to breakfast then” Sirius said with a smile, he always did know the right thing to say to lighten the mood.

It was around 20 minutes later when Remus finally returned to the dorm. As he walked in he was met by the nerve-wrecking sight of the 3 boys sat on his bed.
“What’s going on, why weren’t you lot at breakfast” Remus asked as he looked between the three boys.
Sirius had a grin on his face however the other two boys did not find this situation as amusing. James was looking concerned while Peter looked a bit nervous.
“Remus” James started but was still trying to find where to begin.
“Are you selling cigarettes” Sirius asked with no hesitation.
“What makes you think that?” replied lupin as he looked at the boys trying to figure out how much they knew.
“Peter needed to borrow one of your sweaters and when we looked in you trunk we seen a bunch of cigarettes and a bag of coins” James stated while staring deeply at the tallest boy.
‘Crap. How was he meant to explain this.’
Remus took a moment before replying.
“So what if I do” he said joining the other boys on the edge of his bed trying to act nonchalant “it’s not a big deal.”
“If this is about money you know we would lend you some, mate” James said trying moving closer to Remus.
Remus looked at James for a split second before looking back down at his lap not wanting to meet the boy’s eyes.
“I don’t need your money. I’ve already made 62 gallons this week alone” said the werewolf as he forced himself to make eye contact.
“I don’t sell to anyone in the younger years if that’s the sort of thing your worried about”
James didn’t have a reply for that so instead he just sat there not saying anything. Sirius, sensing the tension in the room, decided to try to break the ice “well I for one think that it’s really cool Rem”
The two boys turned to look at him. “Really” said the the boy with scars. “Yeah moony, I mean I definitely don’t care if it means I get a free sample” said the boy with a growing smile on his face.
As Remus looked around the room he noticed all the boys now had a grin. “Well then a guess it really wouldn’t hurt if I gave you guys a couple box’s to share”
And with that all four boys burst into laughter.
