Note
I love percy Weasley so here is an autistic percy as he grows up. This was inspired by percys rules. Its one of my favorite fics ever.

At Two years of age Percy Weasley was a precocious young child. His vocabulary was extremely advanced for his age. Yet he was far behind his brothers socially. Unlike other children his age Percy had no interest in playing, be it with toys or with his brothers. Yet Percy loved being read to. He would sit with his older siblings or parents for hours if they let him. He was an odd child, but his family loved him.

When Percy was Three, Molly Weasley was very worried about her third son. While he had a very large vocabulary and would talk at length about anything that caught his interest, he still wasn't toilet trained. Percy was a well mannered, polite child yet he didn't act much like a child. At only Three years old Percy prefered books to people. He would spend hours sitting and watching the stream that ran past the burrow, reading to the twins or listening to Charlie talk about creatures yet he hated rough-housing and would rarely play. When he did he would line all his toys up or put them into groups. Percy was an odd child but his family loved him.

When Percy was Four, Arthur Weasley took him to a muggle healer. He had heard from a colleague that the muggles might know how to help his son. They did. Percy was autistic. Knowing that there was a name for what was wrong with his child; that Percy wasn't just barmy was a relief. On the way home Arthur took Percy to the bookstore as a reward for behaving. His parents were relieved to know that there was nothing wrong with him, Percy was different but they loved him.

When Percy was Five he finally toilet trained. His favorite color was blue and he refused to wear any other color. He loved rules and would remind the twins of them every chance he got. He loved reading and he would hold baby Ron and read to him and the twins, for as long as they would listen. He was happiest in soft clothing, and getting wet was the quickest way to cause him to meltdown.

When Percy was Six Bill started hogwarts. His favorite color had changed to red to match Bill's Hogwarts house. He loved receiving Bill's letters and was always excited to send him one back. He hated when the twins would prank him and hoped they would stop soon. The twins no longer let him read to them, saying it was boring, but Ron still loved it so he continued to read to him and the new baby, Ginny. Percy loved his family and would often tell them as much at random times.

When Percy was Seven Charlie became his protector not just his big brother. When the twins would try to cause Percy to meltdown Charlie was there, helping him remember to breathe and keeping him from hurting himself. Percy loved Charlie. He would listen to him ramble about dragons and would ask questions about whichever new breed Charlie had learned about. Ron would follow the two of them around, and Percy loved sitting reading with Ron or hearing about whatever he learned about. Percy loved his siblings.

When Percy was Eight Charlie left for Hogwarts and now Percy had no one to protect him from the twins. Their pranks had only gotten meaner as they aged and he was their favorite target. They had turned Ron's bear into a spider, put a bucket of water on his door and soaked him, and loved to hide his books. Ron still loved when Percy would read to him, the two of them would normally be found in Percy's room with all sorts of stories stacked neatly next to them. Ginny would sometimes join storytime, but often would be found toddling after the twins. Percy loved his family, but sometimes they were a lot.

When Percy was Nine Ginny started teasing him with Fred and George. They loved to corner him and douse him in water. It was as if his screams and tearing at his skin brought them joy. The twins were only Seven and already cruel. Percy was terrified of how they would be when they could use magic to torment him. At Four Ron was starting to tire of being read to, but he loved spending time with Percy. The two of them would often be found at the stream by the burrow, with Ron playing in the water and Percy watching him from a safe distance. Percy loved his little brothers.

When Percy was Ten he realized he was different. He didn't like to wrestle with his siblings, or wear anything that wasn't red. All of his books had to be in alphabetical order and his bed neatly made. His best friend was his five year old brother, and even that relationship was starting to change. His older brother Charlie had given him a copy of "Hogwarts: A History" for his birthday and he loved it. All the rules and regulations, the knowledge of how everything worked. He was so excited to go to Hogwarts.

When Percy was Eleven years old he met his best friend. A young boy named Oliver Wood. While Oliver didn't like rules quite as much as Percy, he loved Quidditch, and was happy to talk about it for hours. Percy would share a room with him for all their years at Hogwarts and came to enjoy watching Oliver play almost as much as he liked reading. Percy was happy, he was sorted into Gryffindor with his older brothers. He had so many new and exciting things to read and new classes to experience. He missed his family, but was excited to see what this year would bring.

When Percy was Twelve his parents sat him down to have a talk. He learned that there was a word for what he has. At twelve years old Percy learned he was autistic. He wasn't barmy or mad like the twins liked to tell him, his brain just worked differently. He wasn't a freak, just autistic. Arthur, knowing his son had picked him up some books on the topic from a muggle second hand store. Percy might be different but his family still loved him.

When Percy was Thirteen his younger brothers started Hogwarts. Having magic just made them meaner, and Percy hated that they were in his house. They were constantly breaking rules and losing points. They learned spells just to mess with Percy, often casting aguamenti at him or sneaking into his dorm and destroying his stuff. Percy was miserable, but there was a bright side. Oliver would stand up for him whenever possible. He really was the best friend Percy could ask for.

When Percy was Fourteen he was made a perfect, and Oliver was made Quidditch captain. The twins mostly left him alone after McGonagall threatened to expel them for their bullying. It was a good year as far as Percy was concerned. He was able to enforce the rules he loved and watch his best friends excell at the game he loves.

When Percy was Fifteen Ron started at Hogwarts. Percy was excited to have his favorite little brother with him in school, even though he had been noticeably colder towards Percy in the last couple years. Ron was sorted into Gryffindor and Percy couldn't be prouder, saving Ron a spot next to him at the opening feast. Ron sits elsewhere, but that's okay they have all the time in the world.

When Percy was Sixteen he was scared out of his mind. Things were happening in the school and he had no control. Ron was friends with Harry Potter of all people and Ginny was being all secretive. Percy didn't know what to do. Then Ginny went missing, and Percy swore to himself that he would do better, be better and protect his siblings better.

When Percy was Seventeen he was terrified. A criminal had broken out of Azkaban and was after his adopted brother. He had been made head boy, and he doesn't know how to protect his siblings. Most of his last year is normal, he cheers on Oliver as he gets recruited for puddlemere united. Then Ron almost gets stabbed and he's failed again. Percy decides he is a terrible big brother, and starts to pull away from his siblings.

When Percy was Eighteen he is hired as the minister's assistant. He stays on the sidelines as his siblings enjoy the Quidditch world cup. Then they're attacked, and Harry is missing. Percy lies to the minister that all his younger siblings left their wands in the tent so Harry couldn't have cast the dark mark Sir, it just wasn't possible. He hopes that this is the end of excitement for the year so he can focus on learning all the rules of his new job. This of course isn't the end of all the craziness, but just the beginning. Poor Percy is barely able to cope. He is terrified and Ron isn't answering his letters. Harry is in a deadly tournament and the twins are out of control again. Then Harry, little Harry who was Ron's first friend and Percy's little brother in his own right, started saying the dark lord was back. Percy had to choose between protecting him or protecting himself. He is a selfish man, he chose himself.

When Percy was nineteen his family decides he is not one of them anymore. Luckily he still has Oliver. His first and best friend is now his roomate. Oliver is one of the few people Percy knew who didn't care he was different. He was safe to stim around Oliver, to not focus on every little thing. Percy knew Oliver cared about him and he cared about Oliver. It was enough. Then the ministry is broken into and the second wizarding war began.

When Percy was Twenty he learned how important rules can be. He was the new undersecretary to the minister and he made rules of his own. Never be alone, always travel in pairs but never more than 3. Keep your head down, and many more. He became the wall between the muggleborn employees and a cruel ministry. Even if he no longer could protect his siblings he could at least protect these innocent people.

When Percy was Twenty One the war came home. Him and Oliver heard about the battle at Hogwarts through Potterwatch, and only had to look at the other to know they were fighting this war even if it kills them. They quickly apparited to Hogsmeade, running to hogwarts. When Percy sees his family, he breaks. He starts apologizing for everything and anything. They forgave him. But something isn't right. He pushes Fred out of the way right as the explosion hits. It hits Percy full on and he dies. The last thought on his mind is that at least he was able to protect his baby brother.

When Percy was Twenty One years of age his family mourned a man they barely knew. He loved his family deeply and lost his life protecting them. Slowly his efforts during the war came to light. How he protected everyone he could, how he would arrange portkeys for muggleborns, would always have chocolate for those who were Crucio'd. His brother bill regretted not writing to him more, Charlie would regret not listening to him after he started hogwarts. Fred would carry Guilt for the rest of his life after bullying his brother. George would forever be grateful to Percy for saving his twin. Ron would be broken for a long time for letting his opinion of his favorite brother sour. Ginny and his parents would regret never making time for him.

When Percy was Twenty One years old, his best friend would break. Oliver loved Percy Weasley, loved his quirks and the fact that he never missed a Quidditch game Oliver played.

When Oliver was Thirty, him and his beloved would give birth to a darling little boy. His name was Percy, after the bravest, kindest, and hardest working man his parents ever knew.
