" Don't kiss me, goodbye . "

'    Red was the colour of most if not all muggle-born witches and wizards, the darker the shade, the more powerful the magic of its user.

Orange or yellow was the colour of half-bloods, the lower half-- the more magical weaker compound of the wizarding world as half-bloods took up a large amount of the magical world.

Green was the colour of true unconditional, pure, clean blood, pure-bred wizards and witches that had magic in their bloodlines for decades.

Blue and Pink were the powerful colours; that Merlin himself had a mix of blue and green.

Red with red either created a light version of pink, or a darker red, depending on how much power the fated couple had.

Orange or yellow combined would stay the same colour, no matter what, some say these were the most unpredictable wizards and witches.

Green made a deeper green and perhaps even a blue , which was taken as a sign of great destiny and the fated would be admired as much.

Blue did not change colour at all.

And pink ? It made a lilac colour, if the love was true, and if it wasn't, it'd turn white.

The colours did not frequently mix at all, but as far as history goes, the only colours to never mix are pink and blue.

Never.   '

The book had alot of information contained inside, so much so, harry's eyes started to burn as he stared at the written texts inside, but could not bring himself to lift his eyes off the pages.

'    If the love is true , or shall be true , the fated pair will produce a glow of some sort .

True love of the fated can be made after marriage , but to have a glow before then is a most peculiar circumstance, indeed .

Let the heavens save us all .   '

The only part he did not read by the end of the night was the section in strictly french that druella had read out to him previously, so he didn't mind much that he could not check for himself to see what it said, he believed her, she was his bestfriend.

More so then hermione and ron?

Stop.

When the sun rose, and harry was snugged away in a corner of the libary, he suddenly came to the realisation that today was the night of the eclipse, the day he could meet his fated, and fix his magic, stop it from fading,

Aswell as the day he had to make his choice.

"Harry! I've been looking for you."

Orion rounded around the corner and smiled widely at spotting harry on the floor, even with his appearance which must look awful

He hadn't slept properly in over a week afterall, and he hadn't slept at all yesterday.

Oh, Merlin forbid.

"Do you wish to come with us to the amour celebration? Of the fated, Druella said you knew about it, oh, I so do hope you come!"

Orion ran a hand through his hair as he chuckled nervously, waiting for harry's answer;

To which harry smiled and nodded and with that orion yelled in triumph and bounced around harry, until the librarian told him politely to hush.

Almost everyone was sweet to orion, mostly due to his politeness and overly welcoming personality; something Tom hated, harry had learned, and something Harry loved, therefore.

"Come, come! We must get you to the girls to get ready." Orion halted harry up from the floor, and began to push him through the libary doors up the stairs.

"The sun has just appeared, are they even up? Isn't the celebration at night?" Harry protested, he wanted to read, or to sleep, he needed sleep more then ever.

"They're been up since dawn, you know, how women are. Oh merlin, don't tell druella I said that, she'd have my head!"

Harry laughed and let orion pull and push him to the girls dorm room, and so the book went left on the floor of the libary floor.

Open on a page, harry did not read-

-"Druella! Tighter." Walburga groaned, her annoyed eyes placing themselves onto her bestfriend's who was tying her corset.

Aswell as Florence who sat on a nearby chair and examined her nails, not paying an inch of attention to the scene playing out infront of her.

Harry flushed at the sight, he shouldn't even be there, why was he there?

Another pull.

"Tighter!"

Another.

"Tighter!

"Heaven forbid! You want the apperance of a statue? You have to be able to breath, Walburga!"

"Perhaps I do! What about it?"

Harry cleared his voice, "Erm-- sorry, orion just left me at your door, I didn't realise you'd be--"

Another pull.

"Busy."

Druella stopped her tighting of walburga's corset, "We're not! It is a good thing orion left, this would be a inappropriate and scandalous situation for a boy like orion to be left in!"

Flora jumped from her seat and ran to him, "Harry!" She exclaimed as she held her hands around him, he squeezed back before letting her sit back onto her seat.

Harry squinted, confusion and baffled, "Aren't I a boy like orion too? Is it not improper for me to be here?"

Druella giggled and walburga laughed,

"My dear!"

"Silly," Flora began, holding back giggles, "You're already spoken for!"

"What-?"

"You look terrible, harrison, darling!" Walburga gasped, "Druella go fix him, Florence tie my corset will you, dearest?"

Druella hurried over to him and began to fuss over his very existence and harry silently cursed walburga as to her involvement of having him go through this.

Would he be forced into that corset thing too?

Oh Merlin.

Ron would've hated it too.

A few hours, several arguments and a wand fight later, they were all done and 'proper' and ready for the celebration which was a ball of somesort but dancing was not mandatory and glamours were unneeded this time around.

Walburga claimed a blue dress, one of star constellations subtlety sewed onto them, so concealed, you couldn't see them if you weren't looking for them.

Her hair was let down for this occasion, her long dark waves flowed down to her lowerback as she wore a hair clip that was matching to her dress.

"How do I look?"

"Exactly how you are; a glowing star!" Druella squealed when Walburga has revealed her final look, obessesing over the fabric and her hair, which she never let down.

Druella wore a pink, her dress was more flowy, and shorter then walburga's, it had flower patterns onto it, but hers were golden and bold, and not at all subtle.

She had cut her hair short, 'only for the celebration', she promised flora, who adored druella's hair and had threatened to cry and cry if she chopped it off.

Her ends came slightly below her shoulders and it was as curly as ever, bouncing at every moment druella made.

Flora wore a green colour, light and pastel, it was puffy and big, but suited her as much,

"Tom asked me to wear green. I wanted red, but It's okay, it'd be against the tradition."

"What tradition?" Harry had asked, and had gotton no reply.

Harry wore a simple suit, black and grey, and his hair had been trimmed, but was allowed to be free. (Permission given by Flora.)

The clock struck Ten Thirty, the sun started to set.

It was awful.

He had lost the girls and Orion about ten minutes into the celebration, and everytime he tried to ask for help, he got dragged into a conversation about land or magic, or the school lessons; which he barley even went to!

The ballroom was a colourful mix; blue, pink, mostly green, and a few yellow's.

Not one red.

Soon, he gave up on trying to find the girls or Orion, wherever he was, and had sunk into a corner, trying to cool himself as sweat stuck onto his forehead, sticking his fringe onto his forehead.

Walburga would've fixed my hair right now, if I could find her.

So would hermione.

"Lost, are you, harry?" A cold voice whispered into his ear and harry felt himself flinch uncontrollably as he backed away instantly.

"Tom?" He looked as attractive as ever; his suit was black and blue, similar to walburga's dress, but his, was much more darker and the

"Harry." Tom smiled at him, that charming smile that made harry's insides churn in disgust and his cheeks warm up even more.

"I--um, didn't know you'd be here." Harry balanced himself by holding the edge of the table they were stood next to, his head was starting to spin again.

Tom raised his eyebrow, "Why would I not be? Perhaps I want to find my fated."

His smile turned mocking, and harry felt something in his body squirm and he gripped onto the table cloth.

"Okay." He said, because he didn't know what to say and his head was still spinning.

" FIVE , " The clock had began to count down.

" FOUR , " Seconds until he'd find his fated.

" THREE , " Until his magic would be safe.

" TWO , " Until he will be okay.

"One."  Everything will be okay.

A deep bright light obsorbed everything in harry's sight as all noise became muffled except a small gasp which he heard himself let out.

Everything was silent and empty for a second.

Emotionless, Wordless, Noiseless, Sightless.

And then the white light was replaced with the ballroom with over several lines of colourful strings that connected one another.

That connected the fated.

Harry looked down and saw his own string,

Was a pale pink, but the rope was thin and worn-out, is that what Louis meant?

However, even with the poor quality, his string was glowing, a bright purple glow that almost blinded him until he raised his head and saw who his string was connected to;

Who his fated was,

The string on his wrist had tied around,

Tom's hand.
