• Harry

You and Harry have been on friendly terms for the past 2 weeks or so. You've gotten to know the Golden Trio, and they like having you around. This year the Triwizard Tournament is held at Hogwarts (Harry does not attend).

You were with the Golden Trio in the common room of your house. Everyone was excited about the 2nd task, the Lake task. Ron and Harry argued about who would win, and Hermione seemed amused by the childishness: "It's too early to tell. Besides, there are still 2 tasks out of 3." "I heard that for the 2nd task, the champions had to find a way to breathe underwater." You guys spent the rest of the evening discussing the different methods, then everyone went to their rooms. As you were about to go to yours, you were suddenly pulled back and the last thing you saw was a hand.
(next day, before the event)
Harry and Ron were at the lake with the others. You still weren't there and the task was about to begin. Ron was getting impatient and didn't want to miss the start of the task. Harry noticed that you were not there, but thought that you must be in the crowd.
The 3 contestants stood by the water and waited for the start. When they were told to start, all jumped in, using different techniques to help breathe underwater. Gradually, one after another, they returned from the water with their hostage. Just as they all seemed to be out of the water, one of the people who had been diving began to shout, "Someone...! Someone's still under the water!!!". Panic spreads through the crowd, and everyone waits for Dumbledore's reaction. He seemed as lost as everyone else. "That's impossible! The 3 have saved their mates!" But then Harry caught sight of a shape under the water and he bent down to get a better look at it. His blood ran cold at the sight of you: "Ron! Ron! Look! I think it's Y/N!". Ron couldn't believe what he was seeing! "We have to tell the teachers! She's going to drown!" Harry stopped him: "NO! There's no time. I'll go in." Ron looked at him in horror, "But... But you're crazy!" he then seemed to understand the situation and started to reach for something in his pocket, "Well, if that's the only way then." Ron grabbed Harry's arm and put something in his hand: "Here, you don't have much time, but this will help." Harry realised that he'd given him a way to breathe in the water and he swallowed it down. There were looks of horror from the crowd, "What's he doin'? He's too young for that!"
Harry swam over to you, and just as he was about to untie you, the Merpeople attacked him violently, "Someone else has to save her! You don't have the right!" He didn't listen to them and attacked the rope with all the strength he had. When he finally succeeded in doing so, he realised that he couldn't breathe any more and swam as fast as he could to the surface. Ron and Hermione, waiting at the edge, caught him and helped him out. Just when he thought everything was going to be all right, he saw that you were unnaturally pale and didn't seem to be breathing at all. "Y/n? Y/n?!" He rushed over and started to shake you. He then leaned over your face and gave you mouth-to-mouth resuscitation until he felt you come back to life. You convulsed, coughing. He was so relieved that he picked you up in his arms without thinking, "Oh, my God, oh, my God". You had a smile on your face and you told him that you were fine and that he had nothing to worry about.
"You saved me Harry, thank you." He smiled back at you and couldn't help but give you a quick kiss on the lips. You were taken by surprise. As soon as he realised what he'd done, he mumbled: "I'm sorry, that was thoughtless." You smiled and said it was nothing. Then he stood up and the teachers came running over to make sure that you were all right. Harry tried to hide his smile, wondering what he had just done.

• Ron

Since you and Ron had cleared things up, three weeks had passed. The Triwizard Tournament was in full swing and everyone was in a state of over-excitement.

You were having your meal in the Great Hall, with the other two schools sitting in front of you. Ron was obsessed with the great Quidditch player, Viktor Krum. "Wow, I can't believe this! To think that such a star is in our school, just 1 table away from me!" You smiled at his excitement. Hermione then turned to you and said excitedly, "The 2nd task will be in water. I've heard Viktor's learned an amazing spell for it. Something to do with breathing underwater". You spent the rest of the meal discussing your favourite competitors and Ron was surprised at how attentive you were to his words. When you laughed at one of his jokes, he was surprised to have a blush on his face.
Later that evening, after the trio's return to their rooms, you were on your way to the library for a book. There, a teacher came looking for you. The last thing you remember was that you drank a cup of tea and drifted off to sleep.
(The next day, the day of the task)
Ron was overexcited and went to Harry's side. Harry noticed that Hermione wasn't there at all.
Ron turned to look for her, then noticed that you were also absent. "That's strange, Y/N told me she'd be joining us yesterday." Harry was about to reply when the champions suddenly positioned themselves at the water's edge. Ron was fascinated by Viktor. When he saw him turn into a shark, he exclaimed, "Wow, he's so cool! As the task ended, Ron noticed you still weren't there. Hermione had been brought back to the surface by Viktor, and each of the contestants had rescued their own hostage. Ron ran over to Hermione and asked her if she was all right, "I... I'm fine, thank you. But... it's strange that Y/N didn't show up. She was looking forward to this." Ron was about to reply when he noticed something moving in the water. Or rather, someone moving. Ron was shocked. Someone had not been rescued. He wasn't the only one who had noticed it and there was total chaos. Everyone seemed to be shocked, but no one reacted. Ron leaned over to get a better look at the person and noticed that the person looked a lot like you. He couldn't believe his eyes, but he was sure that it was you. He mustered up the courage to recite the spell that the twins had once taught him to use. Then he dove, as his friends watched horrified. Just as he was about to reach you, he had to fight his way through the Merpeople.
Once he had cut the rope, he dashed to the surface without a backward glance. He lifted himself out of the water as his friends rushed to help him. That's when he noticed you were blue and immobile. "Y/n? Y/n!!! Come on, wake up!" He took you in his arms and gave you mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, when you grabbed his arm and coughed he felt a great relief, "Bloody hell, woman! I thought you were dead!" Unable to help himself, he leaned over and kissed your lips. When he realised what he had just done, his face turned red. You had a smile on your face and he was relieved that you were all right. Even though he was as red as a tomato, he thought he'd enjoyed kissing you.

• Fred

Ever since you'd left the hospital, Fred had been looking for you to tell him his new jokes or to get your opinion on his practical jokes. It was during your stay in the hospital that he got to know you and he was very impressed with your knowledge of jokes.

"Y/n! Y/n!" You turned around to see Fred coming towards you with a small bag in his hand. When he reached you, he held it out to you, smiling broadly. "Do you have any idea what this is?" You did a bit of thinking and suggested a few possibilities: "Is it a chocolate bomb? Smoke-spitting chalk? A wish-clock!" He looked at you, amused by your answers, "No, no and no. It's something very special that the competitors will need tomorrow." You looked at him with both fascination and surprise: "What do you mean?" He replied: "I'll explain everything, but first we must go. The others are waiting for us in the common room." As soon as you were with the others, you were told that the task of tomorrow was about water. "We know that the contestants have been trying spells to breathe underwater, so I went to every shop I could find... this!" He pulled out a small cake, no bigger than a pebble. "It's a cake that will allow you to breathe under water. It's quite short-lived, so no one will be using it tomorrow." "But it's still fun!" You spend the rest of the evening challenging each other to see how much you know about diving, then everyone goes to bed.
(the next day, before the task)
The task was about to start and Fred still couldn't find you. He finally had to give up and walked alongside the others to make sure he missed nothing. The task was fantastic. Fred was having a great time. Then, suddenly, he decided that he was going to try the Cake. George said that he was going to do it right after him, and Fred jumped into the water. He was amazed at the sensation he was feeling, until he saw you hanging there under the water. He thought he was dreaming, but as he got closer to you, he realised that it was really you. After a few attempts, he was able to untie you and pull you out of the water, having just managed to avoid the Merpeople. As he laid you on the ground, he noticed that you weren't breathing: "Oh my God, Y/N! You've got to breathe!" After administering first aid, as you wriggled under him and opened your eyes, he took you in his arms and hugged you. "Oh my God, I was so scared!" You gave a weak smile and suddenly he pressed his lips to yours. When he pulled away, he saw how red you were and left you in the care of the teachers. He went away with a smile of bliss on his lips.

• George

After you left the hospital, George and his twin played their prank on Umbitch. George even let you cast the spell that caused all the balloons on her head to explode, then he picked you up on his broom and the two of you ran off together with a big laugh. From that day on, he had nothing but good jokes for you. And gradually, you began to hang out with him.

"Y/n, hurry up! We'll miss the beginning!" George ran ahead of you towards the castle courtyard. The students of the Beauxbatons Academy were about to give a demonstration of their skills. George wouldn't miss it for anything in the world. With a smile on your face, you ran after him. Once there, you saw their daily training session (which was very elegant). Then Fleur demonstrated a spell that allowed her to breathe underwater. All of you were impressed. You were wondering what the spell could be used for when George leaned over and said: "According to Hermione, the next task involves diving. The Champions all need to figure out how to make themselves stop breathing." You looked at him and smiled. "Or should I say breathing under water?" "Yes, that would be more practical," he said, smiling. After this very elegant training session, you spent the rest of the day preparing some practical jokes to impress the students at Beauxbatons: 'The girls will fall madly in love with us,' George said. You had a laugh and it was one of the most beautiful things George had ever heard. He loved making you laugh and smile. He wished he'd known you like that before.
(next day, before the task)
Accompanied by Fred and the Golden Trio, George was in the front row. He did a quick scan of the crowd in search of you, then was disappointed that you weren't there. He wanted to go and look for you, but the task was about to start, so he had to wait.
The task was so exciting that he forgot you hadn't shown up. It was only when he saw a shape move with the waves under the water that he had a terrible realisation: someone was still under the water. Panicking, he tried to warn Fred, but Fred was already near the champions. Realising that he was the only one who could do anything about it, he jumped out of the water and swam as fast as he could to the person. He untied her and saw that it was you. He was in a state of panic as he realised that you had been underwater for too long and that the merpeople were blocking your way. He used all the strength he had to push them back and climbed out of the water in a nimble fashion. Fred, who had seen him jump, helped him pull you out of the water, while Ron and Harry gave him a hand. As soon as he was out of the water, he administered first aid and was relieved to see that you were breathing again. "Damn, you gave me such a fright!" You tried to comfort him, but before you could even speak, he'd taken you in his arms and kissed you tenderly. You were surprised, but didn't push him away, appreciating his warmth. When he'd left you to dry off and the teachers to attend to you, he was surprised to find that he was missing your body very much against his own, even though he'd just left you.

• Oliver

You'd been back playing Quidditch for a couple of days now, and Oliver had been very careful to make sure you didn't overdo it. Despite the fact that you had just been discharged from hospital, the nurse had made it very clear that you were not to make sudden movements or shush for at least 3 months.

"GO HOGWARTS!!!!" The whole school was excited. Your school was playing Durmstrang and despite the gap, the game looked close. It was the first time that you and Oliver had played as a team. Throughout the match, he had helped you and you had supported each other. At the end of the match, when you were in the common room, Oliver came and sat down next to you. (Since the other schools were present and you were representing the school, you had a common room dedicated to the Hogwarts Quidditch team.) He smiled at you: "You did really well, Y/N". You smiled back at him and returned the compliment. While everyone was engrossed in discussing this, the door suddenly opened and a student came in, overexcited and flustered, "The second task... will take place tomorrow... by... the lake...". He tried to catch his breath, then continued: "The champions... are... looking for a way... to breathe underwater... Phew!" Excitement was palpable. Everyone was looking forward to the next task and discussing different ways of diving.
Everyone took part in demonstrations and challenges to see who could hold their breath for the longest period of time. Oliver was one of the first, looking at you with pride. You smiled and shook your head, a look of annoyance, but actually of amusement.
(next day, before the task)
"Hogwarts students over here!" "The others over there!" There was an impressive crowd of students all trying to get as close to the water as they could. The champions were in full preparation mode, and the excitement was palpable. Oliver was on the lookout for you, but gave up when he realised how many of you there were.
The task was amazing. Everyone rushed to see the champions and Oliver was about to do the same when he saw the Merpeople approaching the surface and looking frantically at them and then at the poles where the champions' partners had been tied up earlier. Oliver leaned in, fascinated by their sudden proximity, but felt his blood run cold. The Merpeople were trying to show someone! Someone was still underwater. With this realisation, his first instinct was to warn someone for help. When he saw that it was impossible to do so in this crowd, he jumped in without further ado. To his surprise, the Merpeople tried to block him. But once he had caught them, they left him alone. When he emerged from the water and paused, he was shocked to find it was you. "Y/n? Oh my God, how is that possible?" Then he realised you weren't breathing and, heart pounding, he administered first aid. When he saw that you had opened your eyes, he picked you up in his arms and was relieved to see that you were all right. "Oh my God, you scared the life out of me! The nurse said no agitation for 3 months and look what you've done!" You gave a weak smile and were just about to say that it wasn't your fault when he pressed his lips to yours. It was a quick but gentle kiss and he felt a huge sense of relief. Nurse arrived next and he had to leave you with her. Despite his embarrassment, he felt proud as he left.

• Cedric

Things had changed a lot since you'd been discharged from hospital. People no longer looked down on you and you and Cedric got on well. You used to spend most of your time at the lake with Cedric and all of his friends.

"Oh, the Durmstrangs are coming!" As they did every morning, the Durmstrangs went down to the lake to have their training sessions. Cedric loved to watch them. 'So I know what I have to do to get that kind of muscle,' he said. The training session that morning was led by Viktor Krum. After warming up and working out (all of which Cedric reenacted), Viktor approached the water and turned his head into that of a fish. You laughed at the sight: a small fish head on a body of muscles. Cedric looked at him intently and said, "I don't think a fish is what it's supposed to be. More like a shark." You smiled at him and then asked, "But why would you try something like that?" Cedric smiles at you and says with excitement, "Task number two. Tomorrow's task! I heard Hermione say it had something to do with diving. That's why everyone's trying to find the most efficient way to breathe underwater". You watch the rest of the training carefully. Then you try out different ways of breathing underwater.
(next day, before the task)
You had planned to see the task with Cedric. He waited for you in front of the Great Hall for about an hour before he gave up. He was of the opinion that you'd probably gone straight there with other people and left him in the lurch: "Damn it, Y/N, you could at least warn me". All his anger vanished when he saw the champions diving in and pulling their hostages out of the water. Cedric forgot you even existed and went to meet the champions. As he was in line to shake hands with Viktor, he noticed some sort of seaweed moving in the waves. He bent down to get a better look at it and then froze. It wasn't seaweed. It was hair. There was someone under the water! Suddenly he remembered you and the fact that you were nowhere to be found. His blood ran cold at the thought that it was you under the water. Unfortunately, he recognised you and began to call for help. Realising that it would take too long for anyone to move and come and save you, he recalled the spell you had worked on the day before and dived in. Swimming as fast as the Merpeople would allow him to, he was finally able to pick you up from underwater. Using his last strength, he lifted you out of the water and laid you down carefully. As he caught his breath, he noticed that your lips were blue/purple, meaning you weren't breathing. "Y/n? Fuck no! You've got to breathe, come on princess, I know you can". He gave you first aid and when you opened your eyes and coughed, he took you in his arms and patted your back gently, "Shhh, it's all right. Just breathe with me, that's it." He looked at you intensely, then planted a light kiss on your lips. Then he gently set you down and left the teachers to look after you. He smiled at himself despite his embarrassment. He was surprised to appreciate the taste of your lips still on his.

• Draco

You were discharged from hospital 3 days after you woke up. Although he wouldn't admit it, Draco had come to see you every day, pretending he was just bothering you or bored. In reality, he was worried about you. Fortunately, you had no scars and your bruises had healed.

"Hurry up Y/n, we're going to be late!" You'd been hanging out with Draco's group for about a week. Even though he didn't show it and complained all the time, he liked having you around. You were on your way to the Great Hall. Dumbeldore was about to announce the details of the 2nd task and everyone was impatient. You came running and sat down opposite Draco. Draco looked at you and said in a tone that was meant to be distant, "Where have you been? We really thought you were going to be late". Mattheo looked at him and said teasingly, "You can't go 2 minutes without Y/N, can you?" Draco glared at him and said: "Shut up, Riddle. I just don't want to get in trouble with Snape, that's all. He's awfully careful about the school's reputation."
Dinner went off without a hitch and it was announced that the next task would be in the water. The boys had fun trying out various water-related spells and you had a good laugh. Draco, watching you out of the corner of his eye, smiled as you laughed. When evening came, everyone went to bed. Just as you were about to do the same, Draco came to talk to you. "Y/n, tomorrow in front of the lake 10 minutes before the task. And don't be late, you don't want us to lose points because of you". You promised him you'd be on time and went to bed.
(The next day, in front of the lake)
"Where the hell is she?" The task was about to start in less than 5 minutes. You still hadn't shown up. Draco was both worried and furious that you'd made such a fool of him. Blaise, who had gone to see if you were sitting somewhere else, came back and said to Draco in a bored voice, "I've looked all over, but she's not here. Forget her, Draco, she fooled you." Draco was furious that you'd humiliated him like that and vowed never to trust you so easily again.
The task began and Draco forgot all about you.
As the task ended and the last of the champions emerged from the water, Draco's blood ran cold, for there was a pile under the water where it looked like someone was still tied up. He told himself it was impossible, but realised he wasn't the only one who had noticed. Normally he would have left Potter and his gang to deal with it, but without realising it, his mind went straight to you. His blood ran cold at the thought and he jumped into the water without thinking. He swam in and cast a spell that cut your rope instantly. The Merpeople lunged at him to stop him grabbing you, but he was quicker and pulled you swiftly to the surface. Mattheo rushed over and helped him out of the water while Blaise gently laid you down. Draco caught his breath, but when he saw that you weren't breathing, he panicked, "Y/n? Y/n?!" "Damn it!" He bent over you and administered first aid. When you coughed violently, he held you close and breathed out in relief, "Phew, it's all right. It's all right." He took your face and, unable to resist, planted a furtive kiss on your lips. He surprised himself by enjoying it, then stood up as if nothing had happened. When he saw your scarlet face, he smiled to himself. Pleased to have such an effect on you.

• Mattheo

Since Pansy left, Mattheo spent most of his time with you and his friends. He'd pretend he was bored and needed someone to mess with. But you soon realised it was just teasing and nothing malicious. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he really did like having you around.

You sat on the edge of the lake and watched the students of the Durmstrang Institute train. Mattheo enjoyed imitating them, which made you laugh. He didn't say it, but he loved your laugh and your smile.
Draco came running up, followed closely by Enzo. They looked overexcited and said excitedly, despite being out of breath, "The next task... We know it's at the lake! We saw Potter helping Cedric find a spell to breathe underwater."
With that, the boys began a competition to see who could find the best way to hold their breath. They spent the rest of the day having fun. When evening came, Mattheo took you back to your room. He pretended to need something. Then he smiled and said, "I'll see you tomorrow before the task. And don't be late, you're bringing the popcorn". You smile at his joke and say good night.
(The next day, in front of the lake)
Everyone was overexcited. The champions were at the water's edge, waiting for the start. Mattheo and the boys were in the front row, surrounded by a dense crowd. "Have you seen my mortal enemy?" Enzo smiled and said, "Y/n? With all this crowd, she must have found a place to watch." Mattheo was disappointed but said nothing.
The task was incredible. As everyone cheered for the champions, Mattheo leaned over the water. He wondered what it would be like to be one of the people tied up. Then his blood froze. Under the water he saw hair that he recognised immediately. YOU were underwater. Without even taking the time to think, he used a spell to breathe and jumped into the water.
He swam towards you, but was suddenly pulled back by the Merpeople, who told him not to touch you. He pulled himself free and forcefully untied you. On the surface, his friends, who had seen what had happened, rushed to his aid. He didn't even take the time to grab a towel and was already bending over you to check your condition. "Damn, damn, damn!" He gave you mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and when he felt you moving and coughing, he pulled you into his arms and held you close to his chest. "You scared the shit out of me." Then he cupped your face and kissed you passionately. When he pulled away, he saw your face flushed with embarrassment and laughed softly at the sight. You quickly pulled away from his embrace and he let you. He was surprised to appreciate the taste of your lips still on his. And smiled to himself.

• Theodore

It had been 2 days since you had been discharged from hospital. You'd resumed your quiet life and noticed that no one was bothering you anymore. In fact, Theo had taken care of all those people and kept an eye on you. "To make sure you don't report him," he would say. In reality, even if he didn't admit it, he always wanted to have you in the corner of his eye.

It was late and after dinner you decided to find a quiet corner. Since the tournament had started, it was almost impossible to find a quiet place away from the noise. As you climbed the stairs of the Astronomy Tower, you saw Theo leaning over the edge, a cigarette between his lips. You stopped. "Oh, sorry, I didn't realise that seat was taken." You were about to turn back when he said, "You can stay, I think it's the only quiet place in the school. It's the best you'll find". You smiled at him and walked over. He made room for you and let you sit next to him. "The second one's tomorrow, isn't it?" You looked at him and nodded. He looked thoughtful, then said, "I wonder what it'll be like. From what Draco heard from Potter, it's something to do with water." You thought and then said, "Probably a diving test." "Mhhhh maybe."
You sat next to each other for a while, just talking. Even though there were long silences, they weren't awkward and you both felt very comfortable. It was a pleasant moment that you never thought you'd spend with him.
When it was getting late and the weather was getting colder, he took you back to your room. "Good night, Y/n. I'll probably see you tomorrow," he said with a small smile.
He'd enjoyed this little moment more than he cared to admit.
(next day, before the task)
Theo was sitting by the water with his friends. He quickly looked through the crowd to see if you were there, but eventually gave up when he didn't see you.
The task was breathtaking. Everyone rushed to see the champions. Theo preferred to stay by the water's edge and smoke a cigarette. It was then that he noticed the Merpeople, who seemed to be hovering around something. Leaning forward a little, he saw a human form with hair that he seemed to recognise. Realising it was you, he dropped his cigarette in shock, "Fuck!" He rushed into the water and jumped without thinking. He swam over to you and pushed the Merpeople back with all his might. Once out of the water, he hastily laid you down and began administering first aid: "Come on, for fuck's sake, Y/n! You've got to breathe!" When you coughed violently, he took you in his arms and patted you on the back. "That's good, keep it up, princess. Take a big gulp of air. Follow my lead." Once you'd calmed down, he cupped your face and, without hesitation, pressed his lips against yours. You winced in surprise, but didn't push him away. As he left you in the care of the teachers, he walked away with a small smile on his lips.
