Petrichor: Who Is He? CANCLED
Summary
We post a new chapter once a month (at least)After Minerva finds poor Harry’s back covered in wounds Dumbledore decides Snape, who is a vampire and rich as hell, must take 8 year old Harry in. Harry meets Draco and they become close fast friends. We plan for this to be a Very long series. There will be slight Drarry/Dragonseeker but as this is only year one it will be very minor and all just childhood fluff. Don’t expect any major romance stuff till book three at least. This is going to be quite the slow burn.Sorry if our English sucks. We aren’t professionals and we’re a little busy with school currently.

Chapter 7

“Wow…” Draco gasped. He had never seen a bedroom like this before, although the only bedroom he had ever seen was his own and the guest bedrooms. He was a pureblood child, and as such he was incredibly sheltered. Harrison Tristis was the first child he had ever actually met. He was shy and skittish but Draco would do anything to be his friend. Draco really wanted a friend and this would probably be his only chance until he turned 11.

There were large windows that made up the entirety of one of his walls. Soft almost eerie blue light seeped into the room. Various plants clung to the frame of the windows feeding greedily on as much sunlight they could.

Draco approached the window to see out of it while Harrison grabbed a book from his bed and got comfortable on his couch. It was nearly impossible to see through the windows. Clouds and fog blocked his vision. Raindrops held onto the window sliding down in a beautiful rhythmic pattern, some falling off while others combined to form a larger drop and fall faster. If Draco narrowed his eyes he could see a large taiga forest that seemed to span forever.

“Harrison, where are we? Me and mother portkeyed as close as we could get and took a broom the rest of the way. Neither of us really had much of a clue where we were though.” Draco asked his eyes not leaving the window.

“Somewhere in Russia I’m not entirely sure myself. I’ve only lived here for about six weeks. If we get on Severus will open the floo network to my room and to the waiting room for you so you wont have such a long trip any time you want to visit.. You may call me Haz if we're going to be seeing eachother often now.” Harrison or Haz answered, his voice trembling a little with anxiousness dispute his calm demeanor.

Draco turned to look at him. He couldn’t figure out why Haz was so scared of him, did he smell bad? And Russia, that's so far away. “Alright, if I am to call you Haz then you can call me….” Draco paused. What could Haz call him? He didn’t have any nicknames; both of his parents were far too formal for that. “Well, I don’t have a nickname so just Draco will do.”

Haz finally glanced up from his book, or not a book. It looked like a very thin colorful collection of papers. “Haz, what is that you’re holding? Certainly not a book.” Draco approached angling his head to get a better look at the cover. Harlequin Magazine: Current Car trends and most popular music. How unusual, what in the world was a car?

“You don’t know what a Magazine is?” Draco shook his head sitting in front of Haz, his eyes wide with wonder. “Oh! Well it’s a form of publication that contains articles and illustrations. Similar to a newspaper. This one is my favorite, it contains all the latest music trends AND a bunch of info on cars. I’ve been thinking of asking Severus for a 1968 ford mustang fastback but I don’t think he’ll let me until I'm at least 15.” Haz leaned forward whispering conspiratorially as if what he was saying was a big secret. “Most purebloods don’t like them because they are technically ‘muggleborn’ or whatever but I think they are the coolest thing. Here look, this is this month's latest issue.” Haz tossed the magazine towards Draco who caught it excitedly.

Draco read through the magazine slowly, taking in everything it had to offer. He couldn’t understand why anyone would hate these. They seemed so cool! And this car thing, there was one car that Draco was immediately drawn towards a white 1963 Ford Thunderbird. It looked beautiful, although the woman in her panties posing on it ruined the photo. Draco had heard that muggle photos didn’t move but it still surprised him. It was mildly unsettling but he got over it quickly.

The second he finished he looked up to find Haz staring at him excitedly clearly wondering what he thought of it. “It was pretty cool, I especially like the thunderbird. The woman on it was kinda weird though.” Draco grinned.
