I sigh watching the Demiguise side step mom disappearing from sight as mom charges into the room cackling with Cass on her hip.
"Hello Bellatrix Black how are you today?" Luna asks looking above her head with a smile.
Mom waves her off stalking from the room "Mom do not get Cass involved with your games" I call out.
Hearing her shush me I roll my eyes watching her head for Uncle Luci's office.
Hearing Uncle Luci screaming Mom comes back with Cass chewing on his cane that holds his wand completely oblivious to his screaming.
Pansy frowns looking at me then at Cass and Mom "Don't look at me, I'm not getting involved with them I already got stuck to a wall because they are playing pranks".
"I can't touch anyone without being shocked" Draco adds.
"My shoes ran away from me" Luna sighs.
Milli and Tisi sigh refusing to speak "She stuck them together and no matter what we wear it changes into dressed" Goyle says motioning between himself and Crabbe.
Pansy laughs looking between us all before frowning "I feel like I should be happy she hasn't got me but I feel insulted that she hasn't".
"You would feel insulted my mom hasn't pranked you" I snark.
"Maybe that's the point she knows you love having her attention so by ignoring you she's already gotten you" Tisi says rolling her eyes.
"Yeah I mean she did catch you in her bed naked last night" Milli adds laughing.
Pansy hisses like a snake at her before getting up and taking Cass from mom, handing back Uncle Luci's cane before walking out of the room.
"Mia, Luna, and Bellatrix come" Dad says passing by us heading to his office.
Getting up we follow him to his office where he sits down motioning to the chairs and couch "Luna I have gathered a few things I believe would interest your father, will any of them work?" He asks motion to the books.
She steps up looking over the books "these books are extremely rare one of a kind about creatures and beasts" he says picks up one with a proud look "This book was written by Helena Ravenclaw herself, it lists potions and spells the founders helped her make to make invisible creatures visible".
She smiles taking it opening it flipping threw it "this is similar to the potion Mia gave me that makes Thestrals visible".
"I found it in there and Aunt Cissa helped me change it to lure them in and make them visible, you are correct they are beautiful if you can appreciate morbid beauty" I say softly.
"Father would love this one Sir" Luna says dreamily.
Dad nods looking to Bellatrix "Mia looks less threatening she should be the one to speak with him she's good with earning people's trust or support".
"Father knows she's been keeping me safe Sir, he was uneasy about it but has accepted that she cares about my safety" Luna speaks up again.
Nodding I take the book from Luna putting it in my robe pocket moving to the fireplace, Luna goes threw first and I follow stepping out I dust myself off seeing her father sitting in a chair drinking a thick muddy tea.
"Mr. Lovegood" I say giving a respectful nod to him.
He pales looking at "I found something in my families library that, I thought may interests you Sir" I say softly pulling the book out.
"I recently learned you and Luna are the direct descents of Helena Ravenclaw making you both hair of Ravenclaw, she left a research book with Salazar Slytherin to give to her decent but he was unable because the child disappeared, since I'm the heir of Slytherin it's now my responsibility to give the book to its rightful heirs" I say calmly placing the book down.
"Your father is the Heir as well he could have given it" he says frowning.
"Yes Sir but he felt with his reputation I was the best choice since I am your daughter's age and have taken it upon myself to protect her from bullies".
He nods slumping "what do you want from me?"
"Harry Potter will come here demanding answers Sir we need you to play like you have betrayed them to get Luna back, she will be with us playing prisoner when we catch them, working as a spy they will escape my mother will bring you to the manor to spend the holiday with your daughter, she has asked us to do our best to keep you safe my dad has agreed that even if he has to lock you in the manor and treat you like a prisoner he will".
He sighs looking at Luna before looking at me "you both are the Heir of Ravenclaw and show that you can respect and honor our history while still being accepting to muggle borns, creatures, and beasts The Delecor Clan has joined us and look forward to speaking with you for your paper, because they are aware you will print facts but not break their trust in what they are willing to share about their culture".
His eyes widen leaning forward "no one has ever been able to get an interview with a Veela to understand their culture before".
"You would be the first and possibly the only person they would talk to" I say nodding.
"Your goals?" He grunts looking unsure.
"The same as before bringing back magic of old when we all lived together in harmony and equality, where your power and knowledge was what mattered not your wealth"
"Why us?" He asks.
"Because we are powerful in certain situations, we are knowledgeable about creatures, we are the last of Ravenclaw's heir, we still practice the old traditions but accept learning to understand muggles" Luna says dreamily.
"Sir I have an emergency plan if things go bad Luna will be taken from here hidden with someone I know and trust along with my daughter, wife, and our friends. I hope for the best but have planned for the worst I would rather die then let my loved ones be stuck here, what I'm asking for is your help to bring back equality and remove as much hate as possible, Dumbledore's plan to expose us to muggles is dangerous to everyone the stories stand true even now but instead of killing us they will cut us open and try to harness our magic or use us as weapons, that's not something I can risk happening to my daughter or grandchildren someday it's why I fight, so are you willing to risk it happening to your future grandchild or great grandchildren it's all about the future".
"Gabrielle Delecor identified me has her mate Father" Luna says shrugging.
"Okay so your future grandchild will be a Veela you know how they are treated, what matters more your family or staying in the clear of drama?" I say looking at him.
He nods before looking around the room "my daughter and future grandchild will always come first that's why I have stayed out" he finally says.
"Wonderful, your role is the same as Luna you play neutral gather information and sabotage their plans discreetly when they come say my father's name like you set a trap as a desperate father trying to save your daughter"
He nods standing up hugging Luna "If this goes bad you follow her plan don't worry about me just get out of here, she's proven you are important to her and will keep you safe" he says softly before kissing her head turning to me he places a hand on my shoulder.
"I don't want to know anything about this plan or who's involved with it just make sure they know to get her out, even if they have to force her to leave" he says leading us to the fireplace "now go I have work to do".
Nodding we quickly leave stepping back into Dad's office he smiles looking at us both "father agreed to help, I think Gabrielle finding her mate in me was what made him agree" Luna says dreamily looking above his head.
"Wonderful Luna, both Bellatrix have been messing with each other I'd recommend you breaking up their games" father says.
I smile watching Luna wander away almost floating "how much did you have to manipulate him?" He asks
"It wasn't to much but I had to play on his worry for protecting Luna and his future grandchild who will be Veela" I say rubbing my forehead "I hate doing that but he is stubborn I had little choice, I did point out my feelings about everything with Cass to help my case. I think because I'm so young with a young child he seen me as a scared young mother trying to make a better world for my child"
