Chapter 17
A few days later
I sit petting my snake who finally looks like a snake again "Hermione" I look up seeing Aunt Cissa holding up my Niffler glaring "She took my necklace, get it back".
Smiling I take her getting her to stay on my lap "Aurora, Aunt Cissa needs her necklace back" I pull off a ring holding it up "If you give it back you can have this".
I watch her sniff at the ring for a moment before she takes it and scurries to Aunt Cissa, giving her necklace back and dashes off down the hall.
"Have you seen your mom?" Aunt Cissa asks putting her necklace on.
I shrug tapping my snake's nose "No, she snuck off when the others got here".
I frown seeing Mr. Parkinson thrown from the meeting room, sliding across the floor on his back followed by Mom cackling stalking out after him "What's going on?"
Mom stops looking at me confused "I'm making sure the Parkinson girl will be married to you, but he is insisting that her marriage contract has already been accepted" she finishes in a hiss at him.
I groan throwing my head back "Mom, Aunt Cissa accepted it, all I needed was for you to agree with the match".
She nods looking at Mr. Parkinson "I accept the match" she says before stalking back to the meeting room.
Getting I go to him holding my hand out to help him up "I'm sorry about that, I thought I was clear about what she had to do".
He nods dusting his robes off "She's gotten better with her fits, we last longer explaining now than when she first came home".
I nod seeing him magically fix the door before stepping in closing it "She's going to destroy my home" Aunt Cissa says glaring at the door.
"I would say let her loose in Black Manor but, I think she would take it as a challenge to bring it to nothing but rubble" I say frowning.
"She would and would beat the challenge" Aunt Cissa says sighing.
"At least she keeps the followers from messing up your garden and furniture" I say trying to be upbeat.
"Yes, but she messes them up herself" Aunt Cissa grunts.
"She fixed it after".
"Put everything in the wrong spot and my chair, lookes like I made it by getting the parts in pieces and then stopped halfway" she snarks.
"True, Do you know how she managed to make my bed a giant crib or how to undo it?" I ask.
"I do not, it blocked our magic" she grunts.
"The elves don't know what to do?" I ask.
"They all tried fixing it, I found the aftermath of that".
"What happened?"
"They tried to rip it apart by hand, I found them yanking at it, screaming and insulting the bed because it blocks their magic as well" she says chuckling.
I groan rubbing my temples "So my room still looks like a nursery for a giant baby?"
"Yes I will ask your dad to see if he can do anything about it later" she says sitting down in a chair.
"What all has her wayward magic done anyways?"
"The curtains can not be closed in any room, every room has night light spells, Draco's bed talks and can see, it also tells him stories, The peacocks are not white anymore they change colors, and my bed throws Lucius out if he gets in it".
I nod seeing an owl come flying in landing on the arm of the chair holding it's leg out, reaching out I take the letter seeing it take off before I can offer it treats or a drink.
"What is that?" Aunt Cissa asks glaring at the paper in my hand.
"A letter?" I ask looking it over seeing nothing on it.
"Milli" I yell.
I hear her feet pounding on the floor before she rushes in with her wand out frowning.
"I think it's muggle mail It's blank and has no magic trace of a spell to make it look blank" I say holding up the letter.
She huffs coming over opening it where I can see her pulling the letter out halfway "That is an envelope, the letter is inside".
I nod looking at it frowning "Thank you Milli" I mumble looking inside the envelope frowning.
Handing the envelope to Aunt Cissa I unfold the letter looking at the paper "Why do muggles need the blue lines on paper?" I mumble.
"Makes it easier to write across the paper properly" Milli says chuckling.
"Do they not know how to do that?"
"Most likely now they don't, I think it was started to help children learn but they just got lazy" Milli says shrugging.
I nod focusing on the letter

I frown showing Aunt Cissa the letter She takes it walking to the meeting room.
Following after her I see her hand the letter to Mom and Dad who read it over frowning.
"Everyone is dismissed except Alecto, Lucius, Cissa, Bella, and Hermione".
I sigh moving to a chair sitting down looking at the table "Hermione you need to tell me what brought this on and why you did this" Dad says sternly.
I nod not looking at anyone "When Alecto splinched herself ending up in Hogsmeade, while I was healing her as best I could she was talking to me about her Star, I figured out who she was talking about and later on Tisi told me, she wanted to try to know her other parent and sister. She asked me to write her since I'm head of the Black family" I answer nervously.
Alecto looks at me like she's shocked as I bite my lip, sliding a letter I had to her "It had your name on it, I didn't open it, I planned on giving it to you after the meeting".
She nods taking it with shaking hands "Hermione you know Ted Tonks was a member of the order correct?" Dad asks.
I nod feeling my eyes water up "Yes Sir" I whisper.
"Andromeda joined them she turned her back on her family, I believe Nymphodora is a member as well as an Auror this could be a trap".
3 days later
Aunt Cissa walks around the family room of Black Manor adjusting things "Hermione why did you change how the room was set and decorated?" she asks.
"Why is a painting of you and your friends above the fireplace?" she demands pointing to a large painting of my group, all sitting together smirking with me in a chair, everyone else sits on any available spot while Pansy sits sideways on my lap.
I cackle seeing her hand twitch as Tisi smirks at her "We are gorgeous, and now everyone coming in can gaze upon our perfection".
Aunt Cissa glares at me "Mistress, guests here" Beeley says coming in frantically waving her arms, I sigh feeling her latching onto my pants leg wailing "Beeley sorry Mistress, Beeley shut door on guest".
Aunt Cissa sighs going to let them in, I squat down rubbing her back "Beeley it's okay, remember you're lessons breath".
I glance up seeing Aunt Andi and her daughter "Beeley what do we say" I prod gently getting her to look at them.
"Beeley sorry" she wails tugging her ears roughly, I grab her hands stopping her "Hey you are not allowed to hurt yourself or punish yourself".
She whimpers looking up at me nodding "Okay now have the tea and snacks brought out for us. Then you will go calm down" She nods leaving with a small pop.
"I apologize for Beeley, she's high-strung on normal days. Having guests has changed her routine and upset her" I say standing back up.
Beeley comes back quickly putting down the trays and leaving quicker, I sit motioning to everyone to sit then look to Aunt Cissa for help.
She rolls her eyes at me "offer" she says calmly, I frown looking at her.
"Help yourself to refreshments" she says glaring at me, before looking back at them making her own.
I laugh throwing my head back "We should have had Miss. Parkinson here, at least she can be a proper hostess" she hisses at me.
I nod smiling happily "What's with the elves wearing clothes?" Nymphodora asks bluntly.
"Our elves are free, they get paid, I made clothes for them to wear, They have clothes for all weather" Tisi says from where she sits sideways on chair chair, with my Niffler on her stomach tugging at a gold button on her shirt.
"Tisiphone..." Aunt Andi starts stopping when Tisi shakes her head "I go by Tisi" she says looking at her.
"Tisi I did not know about you, if I had I would have been in your life" Aunt Andi says nervously.
Tisi chuckles tilting her head back "I'm not upset you were not in my life, I have been happy and taken care of, If you knew of me I would have been forced into the Order and I refuse to be a puppet for a lie".
Aunt Andi nods looking to Nymphodora who looks down "She's not wrong, look how we were treated" she whispers.
Andi nods sighing "Okay since you brought up how you were treated, maybe we can discuss why you turned on your family, See if you should be accepted back in" I say placing a vial of Veritaserum on the table in front of them.
"Now this is my version of Veritaserum it's stronger, Uncle Sev and Uncle Luci tested it. As you know Uncle Sev is a very skilled Occlumen Even Dumbledore is impressed with his skill, he is unable to resist the effect of this" I say proudly "with a bonus it makes it impossible for someone to gain information from another person's mind while being questioned under its effects".
Aunt Andi nods picking it up looking at it before placing a few drops in her mouth, followed by Nymphodora I smile taking it back.
"What are your names?"
"Andromeda Renee Black"
Nymphodora Druella Black" they answer together.
Before I can say more Tisi jumps up getting in Aunt Andi's face "What was the secret fear of my mother Alecto in school".
"People learning she's dyslexic".
"You used my mother that night, tell me why" Tisi demands.
"I knew how she felt about me, I wanted to feel loved and desired again, Ted changed after Nymph was born, he didn't look at me or touch me he started cheating".
"Did you ever love her or did you use her" Tisi hisses at her.
"Yes I loved her, I still do" Tisi nods looking at Nymphodora "Did you know about me when I started my first year?"
"No, I suspected you were my sister because you look like mom and Carrow, Dumbledore hinted you were my sister".
"You cursed me when I came into the Great Hall Why"
"I'm not sure"
