The sun was shining brightly in the school garden, and the air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers. Juno and Haru were enjoying a peaceful afternoon together when suddenly, a box teetered precariously on the edge of a nearby bench.
Before Haru could react, Juno sprang into action, catching the box just in time. “Whoa! That was close!” Juno exclaimed, her heart racing from the sudden rush of adrenaline.
Haru looked up, her eyes wide with surprise and gratitude. “Thank you, Juno! You saved me!”
As they both settled down, Haru pulled out a soft bun from her bag, offering half to Juno. “Here, want to share?” she said, her cheeks slightly flushed.
Juno took a bite, savoring the sweetness, but couldn’t help but notice a crumb on Haru’s cheek. With a playful smile, she gently wiped it away with her thumb, pinching Haru’s cheek softly afterward. Under her breath, she murmured, “You’re just too adorable, you know that?”
Haru, catching only part of what Juno said, looked up, puzzled. “What did you say?”
Juno’s face turned a bit red, and she quickly shook her head. “N-Nothing, never mind.”
Haru tilted her head slightly, then smiled and said, “Okay.”
They both laughed, the moment feeling light and carefree, and Juno couldn’t shake the feeling that something special was blossoming between them. As they continued to share stories and laughter in the garden, Juno realized that her feelings for Haru were growing deeper, and she couldn’t wait to see where their connection would lead.
As the afternoon sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the garden, Juno and Haru found themselves sitting closer together, their shoulders brushing occasionally. The conversation flowed easily, with both of them sharing their dreams and fears. Juno felt a sense of contentment she hadn’t experienced in a long time.
“Hey, Juno,” Haru said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. “Thank you for today. I had a really great time.”
Juno smiled, her heart swelling with affection. “Me too, Haru. Me too.”
After finishing up in the garden, Juno suggested, “Hey, there’s a new café that just opened up nearby. Want to check it out tomorrow?”
Haru’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Yes, let’s go we'll meet up here!”

They spent the rest of the evening at the talking. The atmosphere was perfect, and they continued their easy conversation, sharing more about their lives and dreams. As the as it grew late, they reluctantly decided it was time to head back to their rooms.
Back in her room, Haru flopped onto her bed with a contented sigh. She thought about the day and how much she enjoyed Juno’s company. “Today was really nice,” she whispered to herself before drifting off to sleep.
Meanwhile, Juno lay in her own bed, staring at the ceiling. She couldn’t stop thinking about Haru and the feelings she had when they were together. “I feel something when I’m with her,” she thought. “Is this what Legoshi feels for her?” She shook her head, trying to dismiss the thought. “Nah, it’s not like that,” she said aloud, but the question lingered in her mind.
As she closed her eyes, she wondered how tomorrow would go, a small smile playing on her lips as she drifted off to sleep, dreaming of more moments with Haru.
