He felt cowardly and weak,

A shadowy figure could be seen with a long trail,
Searching the silent hallways,
Sadly he couldn't find you anywhere,
So he headed towards the private lairs.
Deeper and deeper he went,
As he started hearing voices ahead.
He opened into a cosy room,
Where he saw two figures on the bed,
Melting in each other's embrace.
It was you and an other witch,
Riding on pleasures to the extremes.
You were covering the beauty with kisses everywhere,
Leaving purple flowers on the Fair.
Severus froze in the frame,
While looking at the two of you,
And thinking how to escape.
Eventually you lifted your eyes,
Looking at him in surprise.
“Severus?
I’m sorry! I’m a– I was just looking–
I mean.. Nevermind.”
With that he turned and left.
How could I be so stupid?
Thinking that you are into me!
Now it’s clear that you never will be,
I should've seen this.
In the following weeks he was avoiding you like the plague,

He didn’t care about the gossip behind walls.
In fact he was filled with pride,
