Theo Nott X Luna Lovegood/Chocolate frogs
"What are you doing Lovegood?"
That's the first time Theo speaks to her.
She's sitting at the library table and staring at a chocolate frog in front of her.
She doesn't even look at him, eyes remaining on the frog, "They're said to jump only once."
"That's because they /do/ jump once." He responds, not even sure why he's still there.
She shakes her head, "I think they jump once every hour."
For some reason Theo sits next to her and eyes the frog suspiciously, "You think?"
The year goes on filled with darkness.
And she gets caught.
Theo sits in Draco's drawing room and thinks of her in the lonely dungeon.
Thinks of her eyes, focused on the chocolate frog,
Sparling with enthusiasm over something so insignificant.
When they pass the door leading to the dungeons he drops a chocolate frog on the first stair.
He doesn't even want to think how many hours it would take to reach her,
but hopes it eventually will.
After the final battle she's standing before him. Fair hair stained with blood, but a familiar dreamy smile on her face
"Thank you, Theodore."
"It's Theo." He mutters, "and for what?"
She offers her closed fist and drops something on his palm
A chocolate frog
"It gave me hope."
His amber eyes meet her sky blue ones.
And Theo thinks they share more than they even know
