Harry Potter X Hermione Granger/ Seven deadly sins

Pride

Harry doesn't tell her.
Not after Ron comes back
Not years later.

Hermione is the one he wants.
Hermione was always what he wanted.

Envy

When Ron leaves them in the middle of the Forest of Dean, She cries for days.
And Harry wonders if she would have cried after him the same.

But the burn of envy that night Is nothing compared to the excruciating weight of what he feels when she kisses Ron.

Wrath

He's not sure if he's more angry at himself or her
Or at the world in general.

The year after the war rage is all he can feel. Rage and loneliness.
But when she breaks up with Ron,
he isn't relieved.
He's angry at his friend
For not taking a better care of what he had.

Sloth

He should have gone to her then.
Should have told her then.
But as a useless wreck exhausted by the war and the eternal fight and anger,
When all of those are gone
Harry doesn't know what to do with himself. How to conquer without having to fight?

So he does nothing

Greed

Her lips are red the night he finally kisses her for the first time.

Red and tasting like rich champagne and strawberries.
And he wants nothing more than to taste more of her.
Like she was the only air he'd need to breath. Her lips, the only thing he'd ever want to taste.

Lust

They don't leave the bed for days.
Won't put on clothes.
Won't move more than metres distance.
All that they lost — all the time —
They take back.

And he's drunk by her.
His every sense filled with her.
He's never been happier.

Gluttony

It's sickening really.
The romance between them.
Unseated and unsatisfied.
Like the years tamed only made them crave for each other more.

It's impossible to be around people because only the sight of Hermione makes Harry feel he's going mad with need.

It settles.
Turns from this sinful play into what they were always meant to be — Partners In all.
And all their sins
Were really blessings
Leading them together.
