Peter hates James as much as he loves him. That's the funny thing about love it only causes pain to the one who falls first. Lily loved to run up to peter and hug him tightly from behind and yell "Pete Pete Pete Pete look at this new spell I learned today." it was the best part of his day and he knew it he was glad he could get along with her because she really was beautiful and sweet. he definitely sees her appeal now
