peters first year
peter spent first year grinning almost constantly he has more friends than ever and a girl keeps staring and smiling at him her name is Mary McDonald as he found out from Sirius and Remus he'd never had a girl give him attention before it was weird nice but weird. she's always hugging him and laughing hard at his jokes. her attention is nice but he misses having James eyes solely on him like he'd grown used to. But now he had more eyes on him then ever and he loved it. he truly loved his new friends. he would die for them. at least he thinks so at least. he'd prank with Sirius and James , read with Remus and dance with Mary on weekends in the common room. she'd take his book drag him into the middle of the room and force him to dance to David bowies 'space oddity' on repeat for an hour it was fun but tiring. he loved his school life for the first time in his life he's never been happier well he thought that until James kissed him on the lips when they were alone in the dorm sat by the window watching Remus and Sirius chase each other around the quidditch pitch laughing. it was the best time of his life.
when the term ended all he could think about was awesome second year was gonna be if it was anything like his first year
