Chapter 3
One Friday evening, Harry was leaving the office, feeling exhausted and irritated. Luna, being the only one still around at this late hour, asked hesitantly if he'd share the elevator with her. Harry sighed and agreed, not wanting any more confrontation after snapping at her a few days ago.
Harry's unease intensified as the elevator doors closed, enclosing him and Luna in a confined space. Claustrophobia had always been his secret, one he hadn't shared with anyone at the office. Little did he know, Luna was about to discover this fear firsthand.
The elevator began its descent, and suddenly, it shuddered to a halt. Panic welled up within Harry as he realized they were stuck. He pressed the emergency button, but it only emitted a feeble beep, signifying that it wasn't working.
Harry couldn't believe his bad luck. Out of all the people in the office, he was stuck in the elevator with Luna. He frantically pressed every button on the control panel, but nothing seemed to work. Panic was setting in, and Harry desperately reached for his phone, but there was no signal.
He glanced at Luna, who was sitting down calmly. "Luna, do you have a signal on your phone? We need to call for help!"
Luna simply shook her head. "No signal in here, Harry. But don't worry, everything will be alright."
Harry's frustration grew. "How can you be so calm, Luna? We're trapped!"
Luna smiled serenely. "Well, Harry, I've read that Nargles are known to cause elevator malfunctions. Maybe they're just playing a little prank on us."
Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Nargles? Luna, this is not the time for your nonsense!"
Harry's irritation with Luna was reaching a peak as he watched her pull an assortment of peculiar items from her bag. It was like a never-ending magic trick gone wrong.
"What on earth do you have in that bag, Luna?" Harry couldn't help but exclaim, his patience wearing thin.
Luna looked up from her snacks and smiled innocently. "Oh, just the essentials, Harry. You never know what you might need during an elevator adventure."
An elevator adventure? Harry thought, struggling to contain his frustration.
As Luna continued to rummage through her bag, she produced a rubber chicken, a yo-yo, and even a small potted plant. Harry couldn't help but gawk at the absurdity of it all.
"This is madness!" Harry muttered to himself, his annoyance growing with each passing moment.
Luna even had magazines to read, as if being trapped in an elevator was just another ordinary day for her.
His frustration and panic grew, and he couldn't take it anymore. Harry started banging on the elevator walls, cursing loudly and venting his frustration. "This is ridiculous! We're stuck in here, Luna! Do you understand that?"
As the minutes ticked by, Harry's frustration in the elevator reached a boiling point. Luna remained calm, munching on snacks and reading her magazines, completely unfazed by the situation.
Harry couldn't take it any longer. He began pacing back and forth, muttering to himself. "This is insane! Why did I agree to share the elevator with Luna? I should've taken the stairs."
Luna glanced up from her magazine and smiled. "Harry, did you know that in some cultures, being stuck in an elevator is considered good luck?"
Harry stopped dead in his tracks, incredulous. "Luna, this is not good luck! This is a nightmare!"
Luna shrugged. "Well, it's all a matter of perspective, isn't it?"
