Kinen was seen waiting in the middle of her town, Hugs and Arla nearby.
Kinen: Where are they…? We're gonna miss our reservations!
Hugs: I still can't believe you actually made a reservation at a restaurant. Big paycheck this week?
Kinen: Yeah, and it's Valentine's Day, the day of love, I wanna make it special for my GFs.
Arla: Aw, Kinnie!
The couple they were waiting for - Feren and Sonlai - show up.
Sonlai: Sorry we're late! My anxiety got the better of me again…
Kinen: Oh yeah, you don't do great around a bunch of strangers. Whoops…
Sonlai: No, no, it's fine, Feren calmed me down eventually. I hope we didn't miss the reservations.
Arla: Nope, but we better hurry!
The five girls all head off to the restaurant I'm too lazy to name. Once they make it, they see that the restaurant is just about full.
Hugs: Oh jeez, it's packed in there…
Kinen: Darn it… let’s just hope we can still make it in.
They enter and head up to the host.
Kinen: Hello, miss, I made a reservation earlier today for a party of five. Do you still have five seats available…?
Hostess: Oh, I'm sorry, dear, but we're booked to the brim, and you just missed it. My apologies.
Kinen: Aw man… it's alright.
Hostess: If it makes you feel any better, you and your friends look very nice.
Arla: Aw, thank you!
Kinen: Well, we'll be sure to come back soon!
Hostess: Have a good day!
As they leave, a few stomachs are heard growling.
Feren: Man, I was looking forward to that… I'm hungry…
Kinen scoots behind Hugs in worry.
Kinen: Maybe we can head to my house and watch a romantic movie…?
Sonlai: With your track record of no snacks? It wouldn't be safe for you, Kin.
Kinen: Sorry, I'm not that great at being on top of my food at home…
Feren: Well, what do we do now? If we don't eat something soon, one of you is going down my throat.
Sonlai: Feren!
Feren: What, I'm hungry, and when I get hungry, I get irritable. You know this.
Arla suddenly scoops Kinen up and licks her.
Kinen: Eh- wh- what was that…?
Arla: I was claiming you by licking you. Now only I can eat you.
Feren: Not how it works for people, but I know for a fact I will not win against three people protecting her, so I'll lay off.
Sonlai: Good cat.
Feren: Do not.
Hugs: Look, I'll get you one of my antacid pills, then you can keep Sonlai safe in your gut.
Feren: Really? Thanks, Hugs!
Sonlai: Hey, wait, hold on-
Hugs: Ohhhhhh, right, you've… never been eaten before. Wow.
Sonlai: Yeah, and I plan to stay that way. I'll buy you something, Feren, there's a place nearby.
Feren: Alright, fiiiine… can I get a cookie?
Sonlai: Yeah, you can get a cookie.
Feren: Thank you…
The two walk away to find the place Sonlai mentioned, leaving the trouble. Hugs turns back to see Arla with a bulging gut.
Hugs: …Arla…
Arla: Yeah?
Hugs: Where’d Kin go…?
Arla: …into my tummy. I was hungry, and she tasted delicious…
Hugs: Did you get her permission to eat her?
Arla: Of course I did, who do you take me for?
Hugs: My big, lovable goofball of a cat~?
Arla: Hehe, yeah… so wanna go pick out a movie at Kin's?
Hugs: Sure, sounds like a date.
The three make their way to Kinen's house as we fade out.
