Regulus goes missing
It was a regular day for all... except regulus black and james potter. Regulus had pulled his boyfriend aside and told him this day was the last theyd ever see eachother. James was heartbroken of course especially because regulus couldn't tell him where he was going.
But that was months ago now and now regulus sits with salazar slytherins locket clutched tightly in his hand. He stared down at the water in which he knew better than to drink from even if it kills him to not.
He knew this was not the end even if he wanted it to be he had other horcruxes to find. For now though, he had no idea where to go, it had been months since the public had last seen him.
But could regulus really stand to live another day without James Potter?
The answer was yes, yes he could. Regulus knew this though he didnt like it, he knew he would have to live without him. A life without him would be like a cursed life for regulus but his life was already cursed anyway.

James had vowed to not tell anyone what regulus had told him yesterday. It was very hard not to break this promise when seeing all the headlines saying Regulus Black Heir to The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black MISSING.
But he managed he would never ever break regulus's last promise to him.
Sirius had a full on panick attack after reading the prophet headline about his little brother. Remus was also sad as they had been close friends but considerably less sad then sirius was, so remus became sirius's shoulder to cry on.
James wished hw had somebody to help him through like sirius did.
Pete was always busy with one thing or another nowadays.
Remus didnt need anymore stress.
Sirius didn't even know they had ever dated.
His parents were both dead.
Eventually though he did get a shoulder to cry on and it came in the form of a redheaded muggle-born. Lily Evans had always been one of james's closest friends and first crush. Lily had known about their relationship since the beginning and knew james would need a shoulder to cry on.
She was always so kind.

This was the end of regulus's journey he had destroyed them all every last one. He still couldn't believe it he was stood outside godrics hollow the date was halloween 1985 he felt uneasy. It didnt look like a home would under james and lily's care for regulus thought james and lily and harry were all living happily here. He had no idea what had happened four years ago on this exact date at this exact house.
