The Sacrifice
Tom: "Would you like it if I could become flesh and blood once more?"
Ginny: *eyes sparkling* "Oh, yes!"
Tom: "But there is a problem. We need a gullible soul I can siphon first." *He doesn't say he was planning to use her, but changed his mind as he had grown fond of her.*
Ginny: "A gullible soul, you say...? Well, I know just the one..."
Tom: "I am listening..."
Ginny: "Okay, so, here is how we'll do this..."
*Students are leaving the DADA lesson. All except one, who lingers, clutching a diary in one hand.*
Ginny: "Professor Lockhart, I found this diary. I was told that if you write in it regularly, it will store your exploits so that people can read them centuries from now. That way, your glory will be immortalized forever!"
Lockhart: "Sounds like my kind of thing! Give it here!"
Ginny: *gives him the diary and then shuffles out*
Tom: "That went well."
Ginny: *smirks as she heads back to the common room*
