Lights
They were visiting Budapest and as always while they were travelling it was up to Regulus to make an itinerary. There were a lot of places Regulus wanted to visit but he made sure to include something that would be fascinating for James. This one was pretty easy.
Whenever they go to the furniture store together, there is one sector James loves and it’s the lights. He usually just wonders around looking at different lamps and chandeliers, turning them on and off and trying different levels of intensity. Regulus doesn’t quite understand what it is that is so fascinating for James, but he leaves him to be happy. Sometimes he thinks his boyfriend is like a moth always attracted to the light.
That’s the reason why they just bought tickets to the Light Museum. It focuses on artistic experiments with light and each art piece has its own dark room. And Regulus was right that it will make James happy. The boy was bouncing up and down since they entered the museum. His excitement even got stronger whenever certain exhibition was interactive.
Regulus is reading a description in front of another room while James starts to tug him by his arm away.
“Reg! There's a room with flashing bars all around! And glass floor!” James is trying to explain as he continued walking away from the room, they were supposed to go in.
“But we are missing these…” Regulus whines and stops walking. James turns around confused.
“But they have flashing bars there.” He says as it explained everything. Regulus just laughs.
“You are so impatient. No peeking ahead.”
“But glass floor…”
Regulus reaches out towards James. “We can stay here as long as we want to, Jamie. We’ll get there.”
They stood there for a moment as Regulus wanted to give James a minute to calm down before they continued walking at the museum in the right order.
