A star is born
She was born in the early morning, when the sun was barley rising. She was quiet for the first few minutes, then a scream left her throat. The doctors rushed to clean her off, leaving the mother and father. Her name is muttered, barley audible. But he goes out to the world, announcing the Black family’s newest addition.
She is returned to her mother. Regulus has a full set of hair, black as the night sky. She curls into her mothers arms, searching for the warmth of her mother. Orion returns not long after with Sirius. He’s wide eyed, his little fingers reach out to touch his little sister. He giggled slightly as her tiny fingers curl away from his touch. Walburga scolds him, the Black heir shouldn’t show any emotion that can be seen as weak. Orion gently picks Regulus up, he’d always wanted a daughter.

Her room is a royal green, the colors of house Black. Orion spends as much time with her, caring for his daughter. Sirius stares at his sister, scrunching his nose. Orion gently reminds him she won’t always look like that, she will change as she grows.
Regulus sleeps a lot for the first few months, so much so the healers had to check on her. They used some charms to make sure she was well. Orion watched nervously while Walburga couldn’t care less about her daughter. Sirius plays with his toys, unaware of his sisters health.

Sirius remembers playing with her little hair, trying to put in a ponytail like mummy does for him. She cries loudly, Walburga yells at him for hurting his sister. Sirius pouts and refuses to play with her. That’s when her first words are said, a cry of her brothers name. Everyone was suprised, the house elf’s stopped in their tracks as they heard their youngest master call out to him. Sirius giggled and picked his sister up, or tried to before Orion took her away. Walburga just glared as she ate her food.
