short short little fic sorry

It’s the second to last day before the end of the European tour, and she’s officially done with this tour. It’s been so long, her body is so tired. Feels deep in her bones and it’s beginning to come out physically.

Her body shakes in the morning, her foot cramps when it’s not in heels, her thigh muscles spasms before bed, her back just wants to turn to mush and die. It’s all becoming too much to handle at once. Off days used to be for relaxing, now they’re for waiting for the next pain to strike.

Karlie has come to stay in London, one because she misses her and two because Tree is worried about her and needs someone to stay by her side.

Taylor’s on her way to rehearsal, begrudgingly. Karlie pulled her out of bed, convinced her by promising kisses and wine (after the last concert date). Taylor was just not in for it this morning.

Karlie knew it, Taylor knew it and Tree pieced it together on the ride over.

Tears prickle at her eyes, which she tried to wipe away, but the closer they got the more she just wanted to leave, to turn into a ball and sob.

“Do I have to go?”

Karlie starts to speak but Tree interrupts her. “Yes Taylor you need to go, even if it’s just for an hour.”

It’s childish, but all she wants to do at that moment is let out a whine, and kick the front of her seat. Which she does. Tree is not impressed and Karlie is concerned.

“Taylor.”

“I don’t want to go!” Whiny, and petulant.

“Taylor please, it’s 9 in the morning. Give everyone a break.”

“What if I want a break?! What if I just want a break??” Taylor feels tears coming quicker and just all eyes are on her. The sudden flash of embarrassment and emotions hits her and she just begins to sob.

Then becomes more of a high pitched sob, and wails and screams and holds her legs tightly to her chest. “I don’t want to go pleasedontletmego!” She grabs onto Karlie beside her, holding onto the fabric of her hoodie for dear life.

“Please don’t let me go, Karlie please don’t let me go!” She pleads through sobs, “I don’t wanna go!”

“Taylor…”

“No please! I don’t want to go!”

“I’m going to get your parents.” Tree says, all calm. She hates it.

“NO PLEASE!” Taylor shrieks, sobbing so loud it’s ringing in her own ears. “I DON'T WANNA GO!”

“Taylor please, calm down. It’s a few hours of your life.”

A sob racks through her, and her breath hiccups to the point she’s dragging and breathes out. Tree doesn’t understand, and she should! She's been here long enough.

The fear of her father standing over her in this state only brings more tears, and her hands begin to shake.

Karlie looks stunned. Hasn’t seen an episode like this in a long time. She looks over at Tree for any help but Tree is already dialing on her phone. A new wave of tears runs over Taylor.

“No please.” She sobs.

“Taylor, baby, you need to calm down, it's okay.” Karlie tries

Taylor shakes her head forcefully, almost hitting it on the seat. “Idon’wannago!”

“You will be going, I'm calling your mom.” Tree huffs, putting the phone up to her ear.

Taylor screeches, climbing out of her seat to try and grab her phone. “NO!”

“Taylor get off me! Karlie!”

Karlie pulls Taylor off in the best way she can, holding her tightly as she kicks and wails. Trying in any way to sooth her knowing it won’t do anything.

“I want to go home!” She screams.

“You have one more show left, Taylor. One more show.”

Taylor’s face crumples. “I don’t want to even perform it.”

“You don’t mean that.”

“I want to go home, Tree.” Taylor grits through her teeth. “I don’t want to go in there!”

Tree doesn’t say anything, and the car has stopped. The car is silent, besides the heaving breathing from Taylor.

“Are you going to get out?” The redhead asks, stepping out of the car herself.

Taylor scoffs, getting off of Karlie and sitting in the corner with her face to the door. She feels more tears begin, and just sobs. Out of tiredness and anger and everything in between.

Karlie turns over to the singer, “Tay,”

“Yeah.”

“Turn over to look at me for a second.”

Taylor reluctantly turns her body. Karlie stares at her, wanting for her to say something. More tears well in her eyes, and she falls into Karlie’s chest.

“I’m so tired. “

“I know you are bear,”

“I wanna go home,” Taylor tries, “please.”

Karlie frowns, trying to hold back her own tears at her teary-eyed girlfriend in front of her. “I'm sorry baby, I can try and talk to Tree and your mom but I don't expect much.”

Taylor nods stiffly. “I don’t want to get out. I don’t want to see anyone. I love touring. I love everyone. I’m just so tired.”

“I know, baby. I know.”
