The letters came
Luz POV:
The alarm clock would ring the annoying tone it always did and she would sit up and take the alarm batteries out of it and then put the alarm back down.She’d lay down and stretch in her bed before sitting up more energized and then standing up and walking to the bathroom with her toothbrush and clothes to brush her teeth and take a shower.
She’d leave the bathroom after brushing her teeth and taking the shower she needed she’d go back to her room and comb her short hair she had.After making herself look decent and feeling comfortable in her clothing she would head down the hall and enter the kitchen.
“Hola mama”she’d say happily and energetically.
“Hola Luz can you go wake up your sister Vee please I don’t want her to miss breakfast.”Camila would say to Luz calmly and politely looking a bit worried Vee was not up yet.
“Sure mama I’ll go wake Vee up”Luz would say politely but annoyed that Vee wasn’t awake yet and she had to wake her.
She’d walk into Vee’s room and play a classic rock band song on her phone and turn Vee’ s light on and she would shake Vee.
“What Do you want Luz I was sleeping?”Vee would say confused and annoyed.
“Mama told me to wake you so you wouldn’t miss breakfast so get up Vee”Luz said in an annoying voice.
“Fine give me 10 minutes to get ready”Vee would say as she left the room.
“Alright.”Luz would say while walking back to the kitchen.
Ten minutes later
“I’m done getting ready mama.”Vee would say brightly before sitting by Luz at the table.
Camila would walk over and say as she served them “enjoy your breakfast I made Bacon and eggs.”
“Thanks mama.” Luz and Vee would say in sync happily.
“You’re welcome my daughters now let’s eat together as a family.”Camila would say looking and her kids.
“Okay mama” Vee and Luz would say in sync again.
Camila would sit and eat with her kids enjoying the meal.Luz would eat while playing with a fidget.Vee would eat while writing her fan fiction.Camila would try to make small conversation with her kids but all they would say is mhm.
After diner Camila would say “Free time for you two I have to go do a zoom call with my coworkers.”Then she’d walk off.Vee would get up and say happily “I’m going to the library see ya later you two.”Luz would go grab her azura books from her room and see something through the window with cat ears in the yard.She would run down the hall to the front door and then the thing would run off or at least she thought it was running.
She’d chase it while yelling“hey wait up little guy.”
16 minutes later she’d cornered it and caught it and then picked it up and ran home to examine the animal.
She would examine the small creature and see it looked like a snake and a cat.
“What even are you little guy.”she’d say confused.
She’d get up and at the end of her mom’s meeting show her the snake cat thingy.
“Oh my god what is it.”Camila would say shocked before saying “you can keep it as a pet Luz name it.”
“Hmm I think I’ll call them string bean”Luz said brightly.
When Vee got home…
Camila would see two letters fall through the mail slot in the door and she’d give them to vee and Luz to open it up.Luz and Vee would open the letter’s and see an invitation to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
“Wait we get to.”Learn magic Vee asked.
“Yeah of course you two do.”Camilla said happily.
“I CAN BE LIKE AZURA THIS IS SO COOL!”Luz yelled excitedly.
