Seeing the world
In the course of a few months Harry had managed to backpack his way through most of Europe going at a steady pace while sightseeing as he went along. There had been a few instances of people recognizing him but they were few and far between since he spent most of his time staying in the muggle world and avoiding the Wizarding one unless he needed something. Harry had also gotten a few new hobbies while exploring and had picked up wood carving and knitting. He had also already finished a few projects and was looking forward to sending them to the few family he had left as presents. Luna had also sent him a book on different creatures to look at while exploring with a demand for pictures if he could get them as he saw them. So far he had managed to send four pictures to settle her for what he had already seen.
It was as he was walking down a street in Paris,France that he had his first weird experience with a muggle who had been walking in a different direction but had turned around after noticing him and walked up to him. The conversation had started off innocent to begin with but had quickly changed into Harry wanting to get away as the man had tried to lead him up to an alley over to the side that was partially hidden. Harry had made an excuse and quickly left which led to him leaving Paris behind to travel somewhere new which happened to be Milan to go clothes shopping since he had heard good things about the stores there. It was also there that he had his next weird encounter with someone already there. The lady in the shop had taken one look at him and told him that he would be perfect for her daughter and had tried to drag him to the door leaving the store. He had to shrug out of his jacket to get away from her since all attempts to get away from her had led to her holding on tighter to him which he hadn't wanted. Harry had had just enough of all the weird people trying to get him to follow them to shady areas away from other people. He was determined to snap at the next person to grab onto without permission or tell him that he needed to follow said person anywhere.
The next place he decided to visit ended up being Venice, Italy where he wanted to go visit Blaise Zabini who had stayed neutral during the war and had left when things had first started heating up. They had become friends by accident while looking for a book in the library and had bonked heads reaching for the same book. It had started the first of many hidden friendships Harry made while also giving him an excuse to get away from Ron and Hermione over the years. He had sent an owl ahead to let Blaise know he was coming and where to meet him at which was a cute cafe he had found that had picture of different places to travel to. Some of which he had already been to and many others he hadn't yet. A soft noise in front of him caught his attention and he looked forward in time to see Blaise sit down in front of him with a drink and a pastry that he had bought. "So how have you been Harry? How are you liking traveling around?" Harry smiled as he sat forward in his chair "I'm doing good so far. I've had a few weird experiences but otherwise it's been smooth sailing."
