the full moon
The night was hard. Sirius was plagued by unpleasant thoughts and the effects of lycanthropy just before the full moon. Honestly, he could barely get out of bed.
Early evening James and Peter walked their friends to the hospital wing. They wished them good luck and after several requests from Madam Pomfrey, they finally left.
Sirius looked at the large cauldron filled with the potion they were about to drink. So they can switch back. So Remus would have to go through torture again...
"Sirius, are you okay?" Remus's question woke him from his trance. "You look really pale"
"Oh, I- yeah. I just- I'm a little stressed," he said, looking into worried eyes.
"It's okay, I'm stressed too, but everything will be fine," Remus smiled at him and grabbed his hand, "Everything will be fine."
It won't be, you will have to suffer.
"I know, thank you"
"Okay boys" Madam Pomfrey came over with two glasses filled with potion "This one is for you and this one is for you. Drink this and within an hour you will switch back. Sirius, you better go back to Gryffindor Tower and you, Remus, go straight to the shack. If something happened, If there's an accident and you spit out the potion, you have to come here as soon as possible because then the potion won't work and nothing will change at all."
They both looked at each other and Sirius squeezed Remus's hand he was still holding together. Then they drank the potion at the same time.
"Now go, I'll let the principal know you took the potion, good luck."
They smiled at the woman, left the wing and headed towards the whomping willow tree. Of course Sirius went with Remus, After all, Madam Pomfrey didn't know about padfoot.
"Remus, wait a second, I'm going to the bathroom" Sirius said, feeling a rush of guilt for what he was about to do.
"Okay, but quickly"
Sirius nodded and went to the bathroom. He took his wand from his pocket, put it to his throat and silently said the spell... then he vomited the entire contents of his stomach, including the potion.
He took a deep breath, there was no turning back now.

"Sirius, something's wrong, we should have switched back 30 minutes ago. Let's go to Madam Pomfrey."
"No, we can't. Look, the moon is slowly coming out" Sirus said, feeling extremely strange.
"But something's wrong," Remus continued
"Remus, we're staying," Sirius said nervously, looking out the window again. He knew that in a few minutes the moon would emerge from behind the clouds. "You remember how to turn into Padfoot, right?"
"Yes but...why would you ask that?" Remus looked at him in confusion. "Sirius?"
But Sirius didn't answer, he felt a strange chill spread through his entire body. For a moment he stopped feeling anything and then he felt everything with double strength. He didn't even know how to describe what he felt in his own head. Everything slowly started to blur. He looked at remus, then looked at the moon, a small piece of it starting to appear in the sky. The transformation was only a matter of seconds. Did he do the right thing?
"Remus, I- im sorry" he said. But wasn't it just in his head? Tears began to flow down his cheeks "Remus, go, I'm so sorry"
He couldn't even see Remus. He couldn't see anything. He only saw pain. But how could he see it? The pain was just a feeling. But he saw it, in all its glory.
He felt his skin slowly being torn apart. He heard a heartbreaking scream, but wasn't it his own?
