How the hell did we lose sight of us again?
Blood rushed into my cheeks as you saw the mark on my collarbone the memory of you over me is in your eyes as I stare into the dark brown sitting across one another
I hum as you just sit there before seeing you pull out a small piece of paper handing it to me a smile on your face that can’t reach your eyes nonetheless I smile back not noticing this happens all the time.
We talked while eating hearing people talk,laugh and hug around us as we continued like friends
Friends said we “won’t last! You both have nothing in common” yet I Held onto you and your sweet nothings whisper in my ear you love me as we walk around, whisper how I’m pretty, whisper how I’m the one for you, whisper so many things fake or real I always smile and hold onto you outside they’re talking and pointing but we don’t notice only focusing on us
The whole time I was thinking about you and even now I’ll be getting over you my whole life but as my heart beats fast
