The Thunder roared as the great hall doors swung open and entered the Order of the Phoniex, they stood in the entrance blocking Severus chance to escape but Harry had a few words left to the False Headmaster.
"How dare you stand where he stood!"
Remus could smell Severus's fear and pain at Harry's harsh words but he couldn't bring himself to care about the traitor
"Tell Them, Tell them how it happened that night!"
Please, Severus Tell us the truth...why would you kill Albus? Didn't he mean anything to you? Did I mean anything to you?
"Tell them how you looked him in the eye!"
How you looked into my eyes with such love and hope about the war's end.

Severus why. I TRUSTED YOU. My wolf howled in anger ready to rip the traitor in shreds for his betrayal.
"And killed him!"
Severus stares straight at Remus with a blank face before pulling out his wand, Minerva pushes Harry to the side, and Their fight begins.
Remus watched as Severus fled the great hall and Minerva's word resounding in the great hall "COWARD'
His heart ached as he thought about their sweet kisses the night before he killed Albus.
Harry walked over to Remus and looked into his eyes, "How's the baby?" Shaking his head clear of Severus, Remus gave a brief smile. Tonks had given him a baby boy with blue hair and that's all that mattered.
He needed to fight this battle for them, Not for the filthy traitor.
Remus ran through the door of Hogwarts and met up with Kingsley, Tonks came running to him and hugged him tightly. He felt relief but then asked about Teddy, "He'll sleep just like his father, you need me tonight." Remus broke down and held Tonks as he finally cried, tears soaking her hair.
Sirius, what do I do...My heart still yearns for that Traitor but I have Tonks and Teddy....What would you do?
Three hours after the battle
Remus walked through the great hall watching everyone mourn someone, he felt bad for George as he held onto Ron with all his might, his sobs echoing throughout the halls.
He watched as Harry carried another body through the hall, their ebony hair covering half their face as blood coated the side of their neck, Severus Snape.
The wolf howled in anguish and he took a step forward toward the body
"Harry, why is he here? HE KILLED ALBUS" Remus glared at Harry but his gaze softened when Harry slowly stroked Severus's hair from his face, tears gleaming in his green eyes. "I was wrong Moony, I blamed a selfless hero and he didn't deserve it....I, I'm just like my father," Harry explained what he saw in Severus's memories and every word punched Remus deeper than the last
"Albus was already dying from the ring and Poison when we went to go get the Horcrux."
No.
"They agreed on Severus giving Albus a mercy kill."
Stop it.
"He's protected me after all this time!"
I SAID SHUT UP!
"He was loyal to Albus Dumbledore, he's the bravest man I've ever known."
Remus couldn't take it anymore, Harry's words made everything seem like a dream, like a fairytale of the villain turning good. He could only stand there as Minerva fell on her knees and cried cradling Severus's body like he weighed nothing, her sobs were even louder than George's, he wanted to join, he wanted to cry....but all he felt was tiredness. Tonks came and collected him so they could leave and reunite with their son.
Giving Harry a brief tight hug, he left.
He abandoned Severus.
He couldn't look at his body.
The body he once held close to him all those years ago.
Severus wasn't a coward, he was.
