Chapter 2
- 1st September 1991. Number 4th, Privet Drive
Harry woke up early in the morning, still in bed, he heard a sound.
You had sleep in your own bed.
You had recovered your HP and MP, all non permanent status had been reverted.
It was true that Harry actualy fell good, usually his body hurt from the old mattres, but now it was as he hadn't, even if he could feel the bump in the matter under his body.
Then he remembered the previous day events. The got up and went to his truck, wanting to see if his Hogwarts uniform gave any stats bonus. None of his Hogwarts uniform gave any extra points or improved his stats, but at least they didn't reduced them.
He decided to change into his old clothes prepare breakfast for the Dursleys and them change in the station bathroom as soon as he arrived.
While cooking breakfast he though about how usefull it could be if he could see the stats of other people or things. He looked at the friing pan he had in front of him and focused.

Harry looked arround the kitchen, to diferent objects leveling up a handfull of times, he was at level 11 (33%) and able to see 15 levels over him (25). He was wondering how long would his aunt and uncle take to come for breakfast, he was eager to known their levels.
Petunia came down first with her usual nasty attitud. She ate her small breakfast and left Harry to finish cooking and cleaning. When she was leaving, with her back toward Harry, he casted Observe to her.

She was much higher than Harry, but even if he hadn't seen other people levels he wasn't very impresive. Petunia wasn't even 15 levels over him, and being at level 10 didn't seem like he was very strong. He was after all an eleven years old and Petunia was an adult, maybe it was because she was just a housewife and, as far as Harry knew, she didn't have any university studies.
Vernon came with Dudley next, and ate a much bigger breakfast than Petunia. While both were eating he cast another observe at them.

He scrubbed the clean dishes and mussed about what he had seen. Dudley was a whole level over him, Harry didn't knew how he could because the other boy wasn't very clever or athletic, he just liked to punch kids younger and weaker than him. Harry hopped that by the time the next summer rolled around he would be higher than his cousing. On the other hand, Vernon's level was too high for him to see, so higher than Petunia, and at least a level 25. It made sense, Harry thought, Vernon had gone to the university and had a high position at his job. He might not like the man, but Harry was impresive. It would be nice to knew his level, maybe next summer he would be able to.
Finally his uncle and cousing finished eating, Harry quickly finished cleaning the dishes, went up to his bedroom to retrieve his truck and put it in the back of the car. It didn't take long to start the journey to King's Cross. Harry took the opportunity to use Observe as much as posible, there weren't much people in the streets but so far Harry had noticed that older people had higher level than kids, and in most cases he couldn't see them. Kids on the other hand he could see, their levels seem to be arround their age usually one or two levels less, so at least Harry though that he wasn't too far behind, he was after all just one level less than his age. But Harry didn't knew if it was the same with wizards, what if they were much stronger, he would had so much to catch up. At least he had a way to see his progress compared to others, this videogame thing was probably going to help him a lot in the future.
A new mission had appeared just before leaving.
New mission: Enter Hogwarts!

With a final nasty coment, Vernon left Harry at the station to hault the heavy truck, luckily he had let Hedwig fly on her own to Hogwarts. Now Harry just had to change into his school uniform, without the cloack, and find 9 and 3/4. At least he could change easily with his new hability and then all that was left was finding the platform. It couldn't very difficult, Hagrid might had not told him how to find it or enter it, but surely he could find with observe a wizard in the crowd.
He was getting without time, when finally with observe he located a wizard family. It was leaded by a plum woman with fire red head, the same one her children spoted. Even without his hability Harry would had easily deduced that they were wizards, even if they were better dressed in muggle clothes than some off the folks in Diagon Alley the trucks that the boys were carrying were a big clue, even bigger was the cage with an owl that the older was carrying. He casted Observe at them, more out of curiosity than necesity, to know their levels. The youngest seemed to be his age, so he could had an idea on were he was compared to other people.

He aproched the woman, and he was quickly explained how to acces the platform. Then the twins helped him lift his truck in the train and then went to say goodbye to their mother.
Harry was able to find an empty compartment. There he decide to check the students still in the platform. The ones with cloaks with color hems in them were older students, clearly alredy part of one of the school's house. Those younger with just plain black were clearly fellow first years. He was able to cast observe without being interrupted. Most possible first years' level ranged from 11 to 13, he was probably the weaker of them. Older students even had level ??, which meant that they were at least level 26, higher than aunt Petunia. He took a moment to review his stats, even without his old clothes to hinder him his numbers were quite bad.
Even with the first part of his mission done, he had 100 exp more, his stats could be better.

But even with the small improvement in his dexterity he was still to weak, if what he was seeing was correct. Maybe it was his non magical childhood, maybe kids from magical houses were stronger because they already knew some basic spells and potions, and Harry had never try even one. If he could check some muggleborn student, it could gave him a more precise picture, hopefully he wouldn't be the weakest of the year, but he wasn't very positive in that aspect. Harry thought that he would have to find out those ??? that were afecting his stats, he had the feeling that they weren't giving him any points, and that would gave him a good amount of exp too.
Soon the train started moving, he was finally going to Hogwarts.
