Chapter 3

"Okay, okay! Fine, nothing better to do." Remus rolled his eyes at the boy before him, secretly enjoying getting to talk and getting to know him through silly games made for little kids.

"First question! Age?"

"That's your first question? Seriously?"

"Oh I'm always Sirius, darling." Sirius added a quick wink at the end and pretended not to notice the small blush that had begun blooming on Remus' face and ears.

"Ughh, okay I'm 18, you?"

"Me too! I mean I feel like I kinda told you before with the whole 'running away at 16, two years ago' thing. Hey- you just asked me if that's my first question then also asked me!" Remus hummed, not having even noticed that in his rant before about his family.

"Well we'll each ask 20 questions and then give our own answer too, deal?" Sirius' face lit up, already becoming something Remus looked forward to seeing.

"Yeah! Okay, your turn now."

"Hmm, what did, or do you, study?"

"I studied music and art, but took more of a passion to music, and now my best friend and I, James, I mentioned him before, we sometimes perform gigs here and there!" Remus noticed Sirius getting more and more excited to truly divulge into his interests and couldn't help but feed into it.

"I need to see you play sometime! What are you guys called?" Sirius looked almost ashamed as he opened his mouth to answer,

"We came up with it when we were 14. We're called the Marauders..." Remus tried to stifle his laughter, he really did, but in the end it got out anyway.

"Don't laugh at me!" Sirius frowned, crossing his arms and turning his body to face away from Remus, like a child.

"It's not that bad. I think? Anyway, I studied psychology and literature but just took a gap year to come here."

"Psychology! Damn that's cool, can you like psycho-analyse me or something?"

"Uhh, not quite, I'll get back to you on that one."

The two continue playing, back and forth, random questions, is black a shade or colour, favourite book, favourite music artist, movies or series, light or dark, until,

"Okay Remus. Very important here." Sirius' tone was immediately set to serious, no smile evident, apart from a slight twitch to his lip when he saw the fear in Remus' eyes.

"Uh-huh.."

"Cats, or dogs?"

Remus stared, he couldn't tell if he should say cats, his true favourite, or dogs, to see if that was Sirius', then be on his good side, if if he preferred cats, to say he was tricking him. In the end Sirius got impatient so Remus went with,

"..Cats?"

Sirius immediately unbuckled his seatbelt, got up abruptly and turned down the aisle, glaring at Remus until he walked out of sight, into the bathrooms. Remus sighed, the antics of a 5 year old, he undid his seatbelt too and followed after the shorter boy.
