Moony, the Cassanova of the Gryffindor Tower
Summary
!!I am currently rewriting this whole thing, which might take a while but it‘ll be worth it i swear! I recommend rereading the whole thing if youre already further ahead as soon as I update the new version but I will definitely write a short summary of the changes and what happened up to then at the beginning of chapter 7 as soon as i‘m there so you can pick up where you left if you want. This will get more structured, the plot will be changed a little (but not too much, esp in the beginning), and some minor stuff too (including tags)!! People who are honored to be kissed by Remus Lupin, the quiet boy, tend to think they're special but little do they know that this boy had kissed half of his year by the time he was 17.Or, how little Remus got "our dear Moony, the Casanova of the Gryffindor tower"AU: canon divergence, no Voldemort

Scarlett

Sirius and Emmeline dated for two weeks. After that they still fucked maybe another two or three weeks.

Remus ignored Sirius for two months. It was awful but he was too stubborn to forgive Sirius, who apologized to him almost every day, never getting a response. James forgave Sirius one week after he got together with Emmeline because he couldn't stand fighting with Sirius. Usually, they never fought but in this fight he sided with Remus for the first time ever. Peter followed him shortly after that because he always did whatever James did.

Late at night Remus often laid awake in his bed and thought about Sirius and Emmeline. It really had hurt to watch them snog. He still felt that raging jealousy and anger towards Emmeline. When he saw them his first thought was that he wished to be in Emmeline's position instead... wait what? No. In Sirius position. He wanted to be kissed by Emmeline instead. Of course. She had been his girlfriend so that was obvious. Why would he want to be kissed by Sirius anyway? He was firstly his best friend and secondly a boy.

Also, he felt very betrayed by Sirius. How dared he? Just because Remus didn't listen to him that one single time that was no reason to do what Sirius had done. Sirius could've just told him another day, before he and Emmeline became something serious. But no, great Sirius Black III was always right and nobody was to rise against him.

In April when Sirius apologized again something in Remus finally blew up. He couldn't ignore Sirius anymore. "Shut the fuck up, you asshole. I don't want to hear it. Nothing about it. Your apologizes make me feel sick."

He could see tears in Sirius' eyes but he didn't care. Sirius deserved this.
"But Moony... We're best friends, aren't we? And best friends forgive each other. Everyone makes mistakes. I'm so sorry, Remus, I told you. I haven't talked to Emmeline for three weeks now, I swear."

"Right, I can imagine you didn't do much talking for quite some time now. You were to busy shoving your fucking dick into her, weren't you?"

"No Remus, trust me. We haven't done that since the middle of March. I swear, I don't even look at her anymore. She's a manipulative slut. She had no right to use you like that and I was just as bad for participating. I'm so, so sorry."

Remus twisted his eyes. Hee really did like hearing Sirius rant about Emmeline, especially because he was right. But one thing he had said was wrong. And I was just as bad for participating. Maybe Remus had deserved that punishment. He hadn't listened to Sirius when he tried to warn him. He hadn't really talked much to Sirius all through his relationship with Emmeline because he thought Sirius didn't approve them and didn't begrudge him anything. But after all, Sirius had been right. He got what he deserved.

"I think I forgive you.", Remus heard himself mumble. "You weren't that wrong. I should've just listened to you right from the beginning."

Now the tears streamed out of Sirius' eyes. He embraced Remus and it felt so fucking good. "Thank you.", he whisperer into Remus' neck, which made him shiver. But why? That was weird. Yeah, it really was a strange feeling.

The last three and a half months of the school year passed quickly and no girl dared to speak to Remus again though Sirius had snogged at least half of the girls in their year and also some elder ones by July. Remus couldn't figure out why that annoyed him so much.

He was happy to see his mom again in the summer holidays. He liked his dad but he had always had a special relationship to his mom. His dad always told him to be careful no one would find out about his secret, to be careful going to the village on full moons in case he wouldn't come back in time, to be careful about simply everything. But his mother was always there for him.

So he enjoyed the first two holiday weeks very much being alone with his mom. His dad was on a trip to London.

Some really hot day in middle July he walked into the village to drink an iced coffee and cool down a bit. There was a little coffee shop he really liked and it was always climated.

But that day something was different in a good way. There was a new barista. She was maybe two or three inches shorter than him and had about chin length dark brown hair. There were a few freckles on her nose and cheeks and her bright blue eyes glowed. Her smile was very cute and she had a tiny dimple on her left cheek.

"Good afternoon", she greeted him, "how can I serve you?"

"An iced coffee please.", Remus ordered and his face felt really warm. He had to have blushed really hard.

"One iced coffee for the pretty boy please, Nick!", she called behind her and a tall boy started working.

"What's your name, pretty boy?", she asked.

"I'm Remus, my lady."

"Remus? That's a quite unusual name. But it fits you. An unusual but beautiful name for an unusual but beautiful boy." She grinned.

"Oh, is it? Well, my lady, what's your name then?"

"I'm Scarlett. Do you live here in the village? I've never seen you before."

"That's also a very beautiful name.", he winked at her, "And no, I don't live in the village but on a farm about two miles westerly. But I usually am in boarding school."

"Oh, so you're a farmer? That's hot."

"Is it? Where do you live?"

"About five minutes from here in a flat with my mom. I go to Carmarthen High School. It takes about twenty minutes to go there by car."

Remus hadn't realised how much time had passed while he had talked to Scarlett so he was a bit confused when she handed him the coffee.

"See you soon?", she asked hopefully and he nodded. "I'll come back tomorrow, my lady. Can't survive that heat without a cold coffee."

"Oh no, so you're just coming back because of the coffee? What a disappointment...", she said, acting hurt. He laughed and winked at her again when he left the coffee shop.

The next day he came back to her again.
And the day after.
And the day after that.

Five days after they met, Scarlett didn't have to work so they went out to a restaurant together. It was really nice, not as it had been with Emmeline, no, it was much better. Remus liked Scarlett. And she seemed to like him too. And there was no Sirius near to snatch her from Remus.

After one week they were official. After two weeks she visited him at home for the first time. Remus hadn't told his father anything except that she was his friend, but his mom knew all about them. His father surely wouldn't approve Remus having a girlfirend because he always said the closer he got to people, the higher was the chance of them finding out about his secret.

His mom greeted Scarlett friendly and told them lunch would take another hour and a half so they went upstairs in the meantime. Remus' father was outside on the field so he didn't meet Scarlett, which was Remus was just fine with.

"Your room's pretty. Looks very cosy." It really was a quite big room. It was very bright due to the window on the opposite side to the door and on the left there was a sloping roof, directly above Remus' bed.

"Yeah, I guess it is."

Scarlett sat down on the bed and looked out of the window. "I'm sure it's wonderful to grow up on a farm. I've lived in London almost my whole life. We only moved here about four months ago and I love the countryside."

"Yeah, it's nice here. But I'd like to live in a big city one day. Maybe London."

She laughed. It was a bit awkward when he sat down next to her. What would happen now? Was he ready for it? He got a bit nervous but his worries were unreasoned as he noticed when Scarlett spoke up again. She also seemed nervous about what he would say to her- offer? Question? Pleading? He wasn't sure what to expect.

"Can we... can we wait another bit of time? I've never..."

"Yeah, me too."

"Okay."

"Okay."

Now it was a bit better. They laid down on the bed next to each other and talked about nothing and everything.

That's what they continued to do another four weeks. Snogging, talking, sometimes sleeping together at Remus' place but nothing more. And it was fine.

Until the 22nd of August had come.

"Hey Remus?", she asked him and he had a weird feeling in his gut. He knew what was about to come. He had also thought about it quite often. But he wasn't sure if he was relieved, sad or just uncaring. Somehow, he felt it all the same.

"Yeah?"

"I think you know what I'm about to say, don't you? You considered it too."

"Ya, I did. Maybe it's for the better."

"Maybe. But I'd like to do one thing before that."

"What?"

He didn't need an answer. She was already above him and kissing him as if her life depended on it. He didn't reciprocate it any less enthusiastically. They both knew it was over. But they didn't want to leave each other in fight.

Ten minutes later they were already downstairs at the door. And it was fine. They probably wouldn't meet again.
