Prologue

- Don't touch it, James!
- I haven't touched it, you don't have to yell at me, I'm not a kid anymore!
- Really? Somehow I didn't notice.
- I'm only a year younger than you, you don't ha..
- Boys, what's going on there?
- Nothing, nothing, Grandma, we're going to be quiet - the older boy quickly shouted back, they didn't want to bother the woman, but the truth was that this was how their every morning looked like.

Screams coming from the room where they were together were the norm, if they were in their house now, probably no one would have noticed. Scorpius sighed giving his brother a meaningful look, they had promised their parents that they would not upset Molly and were going to keep their word, James raised his hands in surrender and looked toward the corner where their little sister Lily was playing. The little girl was used to her brothers' banter, so she quietly made a tower out of enchanted blocks, which had pictures of their entire family appeared every now and then, it was a present from Uncle Ron, for her second birthday. The boys smiled, if there was anything that could calm them down, it was this tiny creature. Scorpius went back to checking his Hogwarts paper, they were going to school in two weeks, and today they were going to buy all the things they needed.

- What you have there, Lily?
- Metallion -replied the thin voice, Scorpius quickly glancing at his siblings, frowning, what medallion? And then he felt it, some strange energy like it filled the whole room, he quickly moved towards them.
- James don.. - but it was too late, everything went black.

First there was silence, then a murmur, and finally whispers. Scorpius held tightly his sibilings arms, afraid to open his eyes, but he had to overcome his fear. What he saw stunned him, they were in the Great Hall of Hogwarts, but that wasn't the biggest shock. Scorpius had already been to Hogwarts, and it wasn't the Hogwarts he knew, especially since one of the students, the one who, as the boy suspected, was always eager for action, was already standing ready for any threat with a wand in his hand. The problem was that he was younger than Scorpius remembered, and according to his information, he should have been on an Auror mission. There was only one explanation that made his blood run cold.

- Scorpius, what's going on? - James tried hard, but he couldn't hide the trembling of his voice.
- Be quiet - his brother replied without taking his eyes off their father, Harry Potter.
