Chapter 1: Vernon Dursleys Terrible day
Vernon dursley is a Very large man that despises anything he sees as abnormal or strange and has a mustache that wouldn’t look out of place on a walrus. all Vernon Dursley ever wanted is to live a normal life, is that too much to ask for (A/N: Yes it is). Unfortunately his view on anything strange and abnormal only worsened after marrying his wife Petunia, The reason for this was simple Petunia Evans (Now dursley) told him about her freakish younger sister whom she rather derogatorily called Freaky lily. You see Lily Potter is capable of using magic breaking the laws of physics as if they never existed in the first place. When Vernon Dursley was told about His wife’s Freakish little sister he swore to Stamp the magic out of anyone with the ability that he met consequences be damned.
Vernon Dursley is having a bad day, While on the way to work his car stopped working causing him to be late to an appointment with his Boss The CEO of Grunnings for a possible promotion that would significantly increase his already large salary. He still got the promotion luckily as His boss was caught in traffic and came later himself thanks to that, after the appointment he was working in his office Answering phone calls and selling drills to Mining facilities and occasionally to dentists when the fire alarm went of. After having evacuated the building he went to extinguish the fire only to discover that it was just a smoke bomb some idiot threw through a first floor window. when he got off work at 18:00 (6PM) he went to the place his car is usually parked only to discover the spot vacant and remember that he called the mechanic to come get his car and walked to work instead, on his way back home Vernon Dursley decided to stop by the local supermarket to buy himself a bar of chocolate and a lollipop for his son only to then be hugged from behind after checking out by a strange looking man that couldn’t have been taller than 1,45m (Just about 4’9). this man was wearing clothing that wouldn’t have been out of place in a movie taking place in Victorian england But looked very out of place in 1981 on his head was a purple top hat. Vernon Dursley tried and succeeded to shake the man off.only for said man to say ‘It’s such a wonderful night tonight, I swear even muggles like you should be celebrating You-Know-Who’s defeat.’
Vernon Dursley shrugged thinking nothing of that strange man, however one word that strange man said stuck out to him Muggles. Now where Had he heard that word before, Ah right he heard from His wife that Muggle is the Word that freakish little society uses for those without their freakish little ability. this made him think about His wife’s Freakish Younger Sister who from what he heard had a son not to long ago. He knows that the freakish child’s name starts with an H but that is all he knows, for all he knows the Child could have been named Henry or Harrison.
When Vernon Dursley got home he turned on the television to watch the news.
Breaking News: Abnormally large amount of Owls flying in broad daylight.
Breaking News: Fire Works seen and heard from all over the country
Vernon dursley decided enough was enough for today, and went to eat dinner. After dinner he gave his son the lollipop he bought for him earlier and went to bed.
Only to be woken up at 4AM by the sound of a baby crying on his doorstep.
