That night, you could hear a pin drop. The cold breeze hit the teenage witch, while she nervously walked toward the portkey with tears in her face.
Looking at the newborn in her arms, she kissed the little girl’s face. Painfully, she got on her knees, with her hands shaking, and put her baby at the side of the old hairbrush — which was the portkey — and while crying said what was, probably, their last goodbye.
Looking at her daughter’s beautiful blonde hair, she apologizes to the baby and puts her hand in the portkey, sending her to an unknown place.
And like that, Hermione Granger walked away, leaving a piece of her heart with the kid she had with the love of her life.
