However, with the Immortals working together, all the children inherit in that moment calling to the other Realms to help sort out the mess that he had created. Harry Potter, a newly inherited Dragel must now learn about an entirely different Realm, new instincts, and new magic, find himself a circle to balance his power, and learn about just how much Dumbledore had manipulated his life. Chapter 3

Location: Hogwarts Great Hall

Harry woke up slowly. Groggily. His body throbbed in pain and he could feel his magic swirling inside of him. It felt different than it normally did, much different. Like there was more magic within him then he remembered. For a moment, Harry wondered if he had completely disassociated from the world. The only time his body hurt this much and his magic was this irritated was after a particularly bad beating from Uncle Vernon but Harry couldn’t remember leaving Hogwarts, let alone getting back to the hellhole that was Number Four Privet Drive. As he thought about it more the memories slowly started to trickle in. The last thing Harry remembered was the End of Year Feast.

Harry felt nothing but nauseous as he stared at the food that Fred and George had piled up on his plate. He didn’t feel like he could eat a single green bean, let alone how much food was on it, without having to run out of the Great Hall to get sick in the nearby bathroom. He just couldn’t bring himself to eat anything. Not even his beloved treacle treat. How could he when he risked all his friends' lives just a couple days ago? How could he when his Godfather was dead because of him? How could he eat when he had killed yet another person? Granted, it was just Bellatrix Lestrange, the mad-woman who had murdered Sirius and tortured Neville’s parents to insanity, but Harry had still killed her. Her death was still on his hands. So how could he continue as if nothing had happened? He just couldn’t…

Besides the nausea, Harry felt numb and completely empty as he sat at the Gryffindor Table in the Great Hall with the twins on either side of him trying to get him to eat or even just say something, anything. Even with the twins trying to comfort and be there for him, Harry felt completely alone in the crowded room. And then out of nowhere… Harry felt something different. Harry could feel the tension building in the room, and it suddenly felt like he couldn’t breathe at all. Something was happening. Something was building up to happen. Like anticipation before a big storm. And then, Dumbledore stood up silencing everyone.

“Now that we are all fed and watered for the last time at Hogwarts this year, I have a few things I would like to say,” Dumbledore said as he stood up from his seat. He had a wide smile on his face and his eyes gleamed in a way that sent a shiver down Harry’s back. It wasn’t the normal twinkle that was typically found in Dumbledore’s eyes, but a gleam that instantly put Harry on edge. Especially as over the last couple of days Harry had been thinking about everything that had happened to him at Hogwarts. There were things that didn’t make sense. Things that didn’t add up when he relieved it all in his head. Harry knew one thing for certain, he no longer believed that Dumbledore was innocent of everything that happened to Harry at the school. And now with the look on Dumbledore’s face, as carefully hidden as the old man hid it, reminded Harry way too much of Vernon when he was beating on him.

“I know that we are all disheartened by the news that Voldemort is back. It is a hardship on all of your young, vulnerable minds, and we all worry about what is to come. I must remind you about what the wise old Sorting Hat said at the beginning of the year before the Sorting Ceremony. If we band together, we will be able to survive the war that is upon us, dear children. Have hope, and lean into the Light. So with that said, let us lift our goblets and toast in union. May the Immortals and Lady Magic herself bless us with gifts to survive into next year.” Dumbledore lifted up his own goblet causing everyone to scramble to grab their and toast their Headmaster before drinking from the goblet. Harry followed along with everyone else. And then, like a rubber band snapping back after being stretched too far, the tension in the room snapped as magic rushed into the Great Hall. Harry barely had a second to note just how pretty magic looked when it was visible before he was engulfed by multicolored magic and the pain hit him like a truck.

The throbbing pain Harry felt brought him back into the present. He felt off. Much different than how he normally did. Even different from what became his normal after the death of Sirius. He knew he was laying on his stomach, and from the cool stone ground on him he figured he was laying on the floor of the Great Hall. However, his skin itched and there was a heavy weight on his back, almost like someone had thrown a weighted blanket over him. But it didn’t make sense since weighted blankets were a relatively new muggle invention so no one at Hogwarts would know about them besides other muggleborns or muggle-raised. There was also something warm and fuzzy thrown over his legs.

And Harry could feel… He could feel so much all at once. Feelings that were his and weren’t his. He could feel pain, confusion, denial, fear, anger, and even bloodlust! It felt like an emotional storm was swirling around him. So completely overwhelming that a high pitched whine left his lips before he knew it, which was immediately answered by a cacophony of low rumbles that confused him just as much as it calmed his panic slightly.

“He must be an Empath like me. It runs in the family. His family rune seals should have kept it in check until he could handle it properly but they were also broken.” A soft, pained, woman’s voice sighed before a wave of warm magic washed over him. He sighed in relief as the emotions faded until all he could feel were his own. “This is a highly emotional area. I don’t blame the poor boy for being overwhelmed with everything. Especially with those two still fighting.” Her voice sounded irritated.

“I honestly do not care what you think, Princess Ebony! I am his soulbonded Alpha, and if you don’t want to bond into a circle with me and the rest of the Aqua-kin’e bonded then that’s too bad for you. The boy is part Selkie. He will need us so he will have me and mine if he wants us.” A deep male voice shouted at someone making Harry flinch away.

“I have no issue with him being Selkie as well as dragel. He is precious and innocent in this all. I do have issues with you and your bonded though!” A female voice snarled back, stomping her foot on the ground. There was a flash of heat that Harry could feel coming from her direction. “You can’t honestly think we can live peacefully in the same circle, do you? And besides, you have to live in your underwater castle, which I obviously can’t, and the Healers already confirmed that it would be detrimental to Harry’s health to be underwater full time. Not to mention his other soulbonded here, only one of which is Merrow, and two that are Fire Dragels like me! Do you honestly think he will choose you over the friends he made in this Immortal forsaken school to live underwater? Dawne, tell him!”

“That’s enough from both of you! Honestly, you are acting like children, and it will only end up scaring our submissive if he fully wakes up to you two yelling like this. Act like the adults you are or I will happily drag you away from him so you can deal with your differences without causing more stress to the situation. I have enough going on with trying to deal with the newly inherited hellhounds, daemons, banshees, and other Death Court related creatures so I do not have time to keep you two separated.” A deeper, melodious, male snapped at the two.

“I second that, my King, and I do apologize for it, but Lord Aiden is correct. We are only going to further stress out our newly inherited dragel-selkie submissive if we continue this back and forth argument that has been going on for hours.” Another different male voice stated with what sounded like armor shifting.

Harry whined again, quieter this time, in his confusion as he slowly forced his eyes open. The first thing Harry saw was the lady sitting next to him, gently running her hands through his messy hair with tears falling down her face. He froze when he saw her. The red hair and bright green eyes that were a mirror image of his own. She looked exactly like his mother but something told him she wasn’t. The woman looked older than his mother would have been if she wasn’t dead. But that feeling inside told him he was related to this lady somehow, and that crushed something inside Harry. He had been told so many times by everyone around that the only living relatives he had were the Dursleys, which was why he had been sent to live with them time and time again despite the abuse. The two yelling male and female voices tapered off instantly but there were still so many voices in the Great Hall. People were screaming and crying still, but at least not in pain anymore. Not like before he had passed out after whatever Dumbledore had done.

“There you are Harry, dear.” The woman looked down at him with relief and love shining in her eyes. He could hardly believe that this woman he didn’t know was looking at him with love but that… thing inside of him preened under her gaze as another whimper left him. “Shh, now love, it’s okay. It is all going to be okay now. I know that you are still in quite a bit of pain from your forced inheritance but you are going to be alright, as are all your friends. I’ll explain to you what is going on. Lord Aiden, if you could please grab your Healer and the Selkie Healer to check him over again. He seems to be in more pain than the others, besides my other grandchildren.”

“Grandchild?” Harry’s voice cracked over the word as he forced it out.

His mother’s look-a-like gave him a pained smile as she nodded. “Yes, dear one, I am your grandmother, Juniper Evanson. I know that you have had a hard life with… My Lily’s twin, Petunia, but I want to reassure you, loveling, if I had known about you I would have dropped everything to raise you. Something went wrong. Lily and Petunia weren’t supposed to end up living here on Earth. I had given my precious twins to my father to be taken back to Nevarah to be raised by my circle but somehow they hadn’t made it.”

She sighed, running her fingers through his hair once more. “I don’t know what happened to your… aunt that caused her to do what she did to you, to allow what happened to you, but if I had known it never would have happened and I am so very sorry you had to go through that. You didn’t deserve it at all.” She finished, more tears falling down her face. His mother’s look-a-like, Juniper, looked like she was grieving over what happened to him, grieving over what had happened to his mother and Aunt Petunia.

“Who?” Harry questioned, once again having to force the words out.

“It was us-”

“-dear Harrikins. They-”

“-needed to know things that popped up-”

“-in our Healers report.” Fred and George popped up on either side of Juniper trading off who spoke every so often in their familiar twin-speak way. Harry grimaced at that. If there was anyone who could tell these people a detailed account of what Harry had gone through at the hands of his aunt and uncle it would be the twins. After the whole summer before Second Year fiasco, the two of them had cornered him and demanded to know what exactly was happening in the Dursley household. They had pushed and prodded gently until Harry had spilled everything, and unlike all the other times he had told someone the Dursley story, they had believed what he said.

Harry’s eyes widened when he noticed that the Weasley twins looked different. They still looked uncannily similar as always but Harry could see dark red specks in Fred’s eyes while there were pink ones in George’s. That wasn’t the only difference he noticed. Both of the twins had scales speckling their skin, clawed hands, and giant dragon wings coming out of their backs. Fred’s scales were mainly dark red with bursts of pink and oranges running through them while George’s were the opposite, pink with bursts of dark red and yellows in them. Harry blinked once, and then again wondering if the pain had made him go insane or if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

“We look good, don’t we, Harrikins?” Fred asked with a smirk.

“Too bad people will be able to tell us apart now though, huh?” George questioned, winking at him.

“What’s… What’s going on?” Harry asked, his heart thudding quickly in his chest. He couldn’t understand and suddenly he felt like he couldn’t breathe. It felt like the walls were closing in on him. And he was so tired, and in so much pain, and he didn’t understand what was going on or who all these people were.

As he looked around Harry noticed Fred and George weren’t the only ones who had changed. He had scales as well, silver-pink in color with dapple grey, white, and gold mixed in. What he had thought was a weighted blanket was actually dragon wings like the twins but smaller and more compact. And the warm fuzzy blanket on his legs looked to be a pelt in the same color as his scales that for some reason sent pure panic through him seeing it out in the open. He didn’t know why but something inside him was screaming it was dangerous to have out. There were so many people around and anyone could take it away from him and he needed it! Oh Merlin did he need it!

“Woah, woah there, Harry. Breath. It’s okay. You’re okay!” Fred and George exclaimed, pushing Juniper out of the way. George pulled Harry into his lap with ease as Fred helped keep the pelt on him before cuddling up on the other side of Harry. The two of them rumbled deep in their throats and after a couple of minutes Harry started to calm down, sinking into their arms knowing somehow that he was safe and like they had said, it was okay.

Harry’s eyes fluttered as he felt even more tired but George spoke up before he fell asleep. “Harry, you know how you told Fred and I that you thought Dumbledore wasn’t as good as he portrayed himself to be?” George asked, still rumbling calmly. Harry hummed, nodding his head. The twins were the only people he had told about his suspicions. Mainly because like always, they had noticed Harry’s reaction to people saying the Headmaster’s name near him and had cornered him until he told them what was wrong.

“Well, during the End of Year Feast, Dumbledore casted a spell on all of us. Apparently he has been sealing away children’s inheritances for decades and this spell was supposed to break the seals he placed on us. Instead it ended up breaking the seals and causing everyone to come into their inheritances immediately no matter what age they are. Are you with us so far?” Fred questioned and sighed when Harry hummed again in response. “Use your words please.”

“Dumbledore’s an asshole.” Harry stated with a growl. Several people around them chuckled in amusement while Fred and George laughed loudly at his words.

“He really is! Especially since he had put so many seals on you. If it wasn’t for his spell backfiring it is likely you wouldn’t have inherited at all and you might have completely lost your magic.” George sighed, running his fingers through Harry’s hair. Harry couldn’t help but purr as he pressed his head into George’s hand.

“Apparently there are different Realms than just Earth and when Dumbledore’s spell backfired and released all of our inheritances, high ups from each Realm were sent by the Immortals, like Lady Magic, to help us learn about ourselves. Gred and I are Fire Dragels with Nameless affinities? I think that’s what they said, while you are a half-dragel, half-selkie. From what I’ve gathered by listening to the other Selkies, that pelt is your life skin which is why you are feeling so protective over it.” Fred continued their explanation.

Harry didn’t know what a dragel was, but he could assume they were some kind of humanoid dragon but they had learned about Selkie’s in Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Many people thought Selkies were only female and water creatures, like seals, but during class Remus had explained that Selkies could be male and that they could be other animals as well, land animals like foxes, wolves, big cats, and even bears! From the look and feel of his though, Harry assumed he was a seal Selkie. It felt like thick velvet and somehow was the softest, most comfortable thing he had ever had before.

“You have other grandchildren here?” Harry’s voice trembled with fatigue as he strained to recall Juniper’s mention of multiple grandchildren in pain. He blinked wearily, his eyes shifting from Fred and George to Juniper, who stood nearby three males with striking blue skin, a female with luscious thick black hair that fell almost to her ankles and captivating orange eyes, and a male donning armor, his hair as dark as night and his eyes an intense shade of red. Harry’s mind raced, trying to understand what she had met compared to what he knew about his family. As far as he was aware, he was an only child, and his aunt’s only child was Dudley, who certainly wouldn’t be attending Hogwarts.

“Yes, my dear, your twin,” Juniper replied, her voice filled with concern.

Harry’s brows furrowed, his eyes widening in disbelief. “I don’t have a twin,” he declared, his words echoing in unison with the twins and the rest of his friends around. “Harry doesn’t have a twin.”

Juniper’s lips pursed, shooting daggers towards the professor’s table but Harry couldn’t see who she was glaring at. “It has been confirmed by the Healers who examined you and your twin’s circle Healers. You are the child of my daughter Lily, a man named James Potter, and your third parent, a Selkie named Calypso Kallan. You have a younger sister named Luna Lovegood, who is a Light Fae, and a pseudo twin named Sage Black, a changeling whose parents are Sirius Black, Pandora Lovegood, and Lily. The details elude me, but Lily carried Sage while she was pregnant with you, which is why, despite not sharing the same blood entirely, you are still considered twins,” Juniper explained, her gaze shifted over to the other side of the Great Hall.

Harry followed her line of sight and saw a male with curly red hair, reminiscent of Sirius’s cascading locks yet possessing the fiery hue of his mother’s hair, pulled into a messy bun. His crystal blue eyes, very alike to Luna’s own, blazing with anger as he glared at multiple individuals surrounding him, his arms defiantly crossed over his chest. Brilliant sparks of magic flickered like stars, crackling in the air around him, a visible manifestation of his fury. He could just make out the familiar yellow and black hues of the Hufflepuff house on his robes and vaguely recognized him from his own year.

Though Harry had caught glimpses of Sage in the few classes Gryffindor and Hufflepuff shared, he had never paid much attention to them. All he knew was that Sage was genderfluid, effortlessly transitioning between the male and female uniforms. They always kept a briefcase-like trunk close at hand, guarded with unwavering protectiveness. He vaguely recalled an incident in their Third Year when a Ravenclaw had accidentally bumped into the trunk, provoking a vehement angry reaction from Sage. Harry couldn’t recall seeing any friends accompanying the enigmatic Hufflepuff though.

“I don’t even know who any of you are!” Sage’s reverberated through the Great Hall, filled with a mix of confusion and frustration. “I don’t care if I’m some kind of dragon creature that called you here. I don’t know you, and I don’t want to.” He snarled. “All I want to do is go back to my dormitory. I have time sensitive times I need to get done!” Sage bared his sharp teeth, snapping them towards anyone in the large group of people near him who dared to approach him as Harry watched the scene unfold. Harry could empathize with Sage’s outburst. In the midst of his own confusion, he longed to unleash his frustration and anger in an effort to have someone explain things better to him, but exhaustion weighed him down so all he could do was observe and ask questions. And hope someone actually answered them unlike Dumbledore who always told him it was better if he didn’t know some things.

“Sage is struggling to process what’s happening. It’s already stressful enough to experience a soul scream, but when a person suddenly discovers they are a creature, grappling with new instincts that make no sense must be even more challenging. And it seems Sage is distant from the rest of your peers so he has no one to turn to for comfort…” Juniper trailed off, her eyes filled with worry as she focused on Sage.

“And speaking of soul screams, Harry, you yourself emitted a soul cry during one of the brief moments when you woke up as your inheritance manifested,” interjected a blue-skinned man who was shirtless. His long navy hair, intricately braided and adorned with a regal crown, cascaded down to his knees. Harry furrowed his brow as he turned to face the man. “I am Alcandor Lagunavo, King of the Aqua-kin’e Clan, and I am the Alpha to whom you called out in your soul cry.” Alcandor attempted to offer Harry a reassuring smile. Suddenly, Harry understood the overwhelming confusion that Sage was experiencing - the feeling of being lost and grappling with a reality that made no sense. Especially when Alcandor was looking at him with hope and love, and they had barely just met.

“Due to the soul seals placed on you by that despicable monster, your soul scream was transformed into a soul cry. Instead of drawing all potential soulbonded to you and forming soulbonds, only those in your immediate vicinity who had the potential for a soulbonded were summoned to your side,” explained the red-haired woman with a huff, her gaze fixed on Alcandor with a glare before she smiled as she looked at Harry. “I am Ebony Caveral, sometimes called Eby, Crown Princess of the Fire Clan, another one of your soulbonded.” Harry gulped, grasping the implications of her words quickly. A king and a princess… He couldn’t fathom why they were soulbonded to him of all people. He wasn’t anyone important. He was just Harry. It was completely overwhelming.

“We are too, Harrikins!” exclaimed Fred, a wide grin stretching across his face.

“Yup! You aren’t getting rid of us that easily!” George chimed in, completing his brother’s statement. Harry couldn’t help but giggle, feeling a glimmer of relief and a spark of hope. Fred and George had always meant a lot to him. He had no issues being soulbonded to them.

“Anyone else?” Harry asked, his voice weak. Harry was still struggling to process his emotions and thoughts about the situation, but something inside him reassured him that it was okay. These people, his soulbonded, were safe and would love him unconditionally. And they already knew everything he had endured at the hands of the Dursleys and had not abandoned him, so Harry decided he would do his best to embrace these newfound feelings of warmth and safety.

“Me, Neville, Cedric, and three Slytherins you might not be happy about.” Hermione spoke up, sitting up from where she was slouching in Cedric’s lap.

If there was one thing that Harry was glad about in regards to the TriWizard’s Tournament, it would be that Cedric had run off and shot off red sparks of forfeit when Harry had offered for them to take the cup together and win it. He was absolutely certain that Cedric would have died in the graveyard if he hadn’t. But something had happened to Cedric in the maze before the Professors could reach him. Something that had ended up with him in a coma for months, which was why he had decided to redo his Seventh Year at Hogwarts to get his N.E.W.T.s. The two of them had become good friends during this year because of it. Especially since Umbridge seemed to hate Cedric as much as she did Harry himself.

“We can tell him ourselves, Hermione.” Draco stated. Harry flinched into George’s arms, pulling his life pelt closer to him as he saw the Slytherin sitting next to her. There was no bite to Draco’s tone, much to Harry’s shock, even if it was said in that haughty nature the other boy was known for. And then there was the fact that Draco used Hermione’s actual name, instead of insulting her! It was just so strange. “Hello Harry, I know we haven’t had even a slightly cordial conversation since we’ve entered Hogwarts but I would like to apologize for always antagonizing you and your friends. I did it because that was the only way I thought I could be in your life as a Slytherin with you a Gryffindor, and because our soulbond had been opened all the way back in our First year so we needed physical touch occasionally or else both of us would have gone insane. If you would have me, I would be an Advisor to our circle but.. I would understand if you didn’t want me due to our past relationship.”  Draco was staring at him like he expected Harry to reject him immediately which hurt something in him. Harry trilled quietly at him for a moment.

“I gave as good as I got, Draco. I’m not exactly sure about this whole circle thing, whatever that is, but you are mine.” Harry growled, eyes narrowing at the older boy. He had been obsessed with Draco for years, if you ask any of his friends they would tell you, and there was no way he was about to allow Draco to weasel his way out so easily. Especially not when he was staring at Harry with such pitiful eyes, not that Harry was going to tell him that.

“Good. I expected nothing less.” Draco huffed, holding his head up higher so no one could see the relief on his face. “This is Theodore Nott, a Mage. And Blaise Zabini, a Gheyo Joker.”

“I don’t know what any of that means.” Harry sighed, pouting heavily. All of his friends seemed to have some kind of basic understanding of what those words meant but he was completely in the dark. It seemed he was in the dark about a lot of things.

“We will explain that in a bit, Little Seal. This is my cousin Alex, he’s a Gheyic Pareya, and one of my soulbonded, and yours as well, Krymsen. I do have another soul bonded, Killigan, who is my Beta and my Queen to the Aqua-kin’e Clan. We are already bonded so he will have to bond into our circle as well.” Alcandor dragged the shorter of the three blue men next to him instead of allowing him to hide behind him, all the while Alec glowered with his arms crossed over his chest.

Alec had a bowl-shaped haircut with bright teal-blue skin and rich blue eyes. The other Aqua-kin’e was armed with a trident and wearing a set of deep purple armor with his vibrant blue hair dyed red at the ends.

“I am another Beta, Ariki Deveraine. I was with my mother when she got the call to come here and help out and ended up being dragged alongside her.” Ariki, a young man with thick, honey-gold hair and vivid brown eyes, smiled at him in a way that somehow helped calm Harry further. “And this is Quinn Kalzik, he’s a Healer and he’s mute,” Ariki pulled over another male. This one with curly blonde hair and teal eyes with beautiful yellow-green, pale-green, and teal colored wings. Harry felt a bit mesmerized as he stared at the pretty colors.

“And lastly, I am Aidan Arythmoor, a Gheyo Joker and a Hellhound. The First Hellhound.” The short, shaggy black haired guy wearing armor nodded to him.

Harry slowly nodded, swallowing the lump in his throat as he took a shaky breath in. He snuggled deeper into George and Fred’s arms in an attempt to calm down, only to jump as the doors to the Great Hall slammed open. Harry glanced over just in time to see Sage making a run for it with several of his soulbonded following after.
