dinner.
Remus Lupin was many things: a son, a friend, a teacher, a single dad and so much more, but one thing was he certainly not. He is the most impatient man ever. So when his son Teddy wasn’t in his arms within three minutes after the bell rang he got worried. He worried about where his son was, worried something had happened or worse.
But when he saw his son with a man and another kid he was relieved.
“Dad!” Teddy yells at Remus as he runs into him. “Dad, can me and Harry play this week? Please, please!”
remus was overwelemd. His some ran towords him with so much energy.
“Not today sprout we have to go to your uncle but sometime this week can.”
Remus looks up at the man standing with the kids.
“Hello, my name is James. I am Harry's dad!” he said smilling
“nice to meet you I am Remus. I'm pretty sure I haven’t seen you before?”
“No, we just moved here.”
“O makes sense, I thought so.”
“You thought so?”
“Yeah well, I lived here for ten years now so I know the most people who live here.”
“Dad, can we go home please?” theo asked
“yes teddy, well we have to go but I suppose I see you again.”
“Yeah,” says James “we will see you again. Say bye Harry.” “bye, Theo!” “bye, harry!”

When Remus parks his car teddy bursts out of his seat. As they walk up to the front of the house the door opens.
“Hi Remus, hi Teds how are you guys?”
“Hi Regulus we great how are you?”
“I’m fine I suppose just a bit tired that’s it.”
“well if you don’t go to sleep at 3 a.m. every day you wouldn’t be so tired.” remus claimed.
“yeah well since I started to teach ballet lessons my training was rescheduled to 10 pm so I can’t go to sleep earlier but that isn’t imported, Teds how was your first day at your daycare?”
the question made Teddy smile for ear to ear.
“It was great I even made a friend! His name is Harry.”
“That’s amazing Teddy.”
“Yeah, we painted together and played on the playground.”
“well, that's great we can talk more during dinner."

regulus had made pasta pesto. His persenal fav.
during dinner harry was yapping over daycare.
"the teacher made us paint with our fingers it was so cool! we then put black cryon on top of it. After the break we we alllowed to sratch bit of the black off and i made this!" teddy held up a paper with colored squiggles and some weird looking stick men.
"during the break i met my friend harry. he was on a bike with two seats so i joined him a we drove a cross the playgound.
and so he kept yapping on.
After dinner Remus brought Teddy to bed.
“Dad, can I go play with Harry?”
"I think so I mean we don’t have any plans so I suppose. Unless they have plans.then you need to wait”
"Okay, great goodnight dad.”
"Goodnight buba.”
As Remus walks downstairs he can hear the tea kettle whistle.
" Rem what flavour tea do you want?" Umm, green tea please."
"So how was today for you?"
" Well I was nervous of course but the overall i thought it was fine I met the dad of Teddy's friend so that was fun."
"O who was it? I assume we know them."
Remus chuckles. they have lived together for ten years but have been friends for thirteen years. they met in college and have been best friends since. they bonded over their love for history, cooking, and books. they understand each other without saying a word. so in those years of living together, they know every person the other knows.
"no we don't. he just moved here with his son."
"o okay, so do you know where he's from."
"no, we just discussed things about the kids. I did get his name though. his name is James so. He seems nice so maybe I want to invite him for lunch. you know just to get to know each other while the kids play together."
" O yeah sounds fun invite a complete stranger into our house have, him over for lunch sound very save. your parents thought you that you can't just invite a stranger into our home right?"
"Reg you need more faith in people he seems friendly, and he walked with Teddy to search for me. he helped a kid find his dad, that doesn't sound like a dangerous stranger right?"
"I suppose. I guess you are right, well invite him and see how it goes."
"Thank you, I will discuss it with him soon. " "Great, I have to go to sleep I'm teaching a ballet class tomorrow at 9 am."
"Christ, well goodnight."
