Chapter 6

The next day after Voldemort's punishment, Draco again went in search of the princess, even though he knew that he would be able to find her only when she herself wanted it or the biggest miracle in the world would happen, crouching his way with the soldiers that Voldemort had given him, something happened that he did not expect.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a movement in the nearby bushes, which was very far from any inhabited place, looking around to see if anyone was paying attention to him, and when he realized that no one was paying attention to him, he started walking in the direction where he saw movement.

Behind the first row of bushes, nothing attracted special attention and he continued to go deeper until he saw what everyone had been looking for all this time, in front of his eyes there was a princess in all her beauty, sitting in a small square surrounded by beautiful flowers, she looked like the most beautiful dream.

draco had to convince himself from the beginning that he was not dreaming, this moment triggered old memories of how they first met 5 years ago.

Flashback

Today was Draco's first time to come to the imperial palace because his mom is the empress's cousin and the empress invited him to tea and wanted her to take draco with her so that cassandra could get to know him, of course draco was very happy to get a new friend, but unfortunately it didn't go as he planned upon arriving at the palace, the guards took them to a beautiful garden where there were all the most beautiful flowers that his eyes had ever seen and among them there was a small gazebo where the empress herself was already waiting for them, looking in another direction and smiling as they approached her, the empress looked at them both bowing before her majesty.

The Empress got up from her chair and came to hug his mother who also hugged her tightly with a big smile on her face.

Sitting opposite the empress, the maids poured them tea and then his mother started the conversation.
"I'm very happy that you invited me to visit you, we haven't done such things for a long time," said his mother, laughing a little.

The empress also smiled a little and nodded her head in agreement and looked again in another direction and then both followed the empress' gaze and there he saw the most beautiful girl easily who looked like a fairy in a light blue dress with black hair who looked like the blackest night then the empress addressed her "If you wish you can join them".

With an easy nod of his head in agreement, he stood up, bowed to her majesty and went towards the girl, hoping that he would be able to make friends with her, as he approached her, he heard the most beautiful laughter.

The girl was playing catch with two other children when all three saw when they were approaching they all stopped and focused their eyes on the newcomer, draco got the courage to introduce himself first.

"H-hello your highness my name is Darco malfoy" he said bowing.

The girl looked at him raised her head but didn't say anything ~I hope I didn't offend her~ Draco thought to himself and then the girl started to speak.

"Do you want to join us?" she asked.

"With great pleasure," Draco said and walked closer to the group and then the girl started talking again.

"meet these my friends this is Gabriel and this is Camilla " both bowed.

"Nice to meet you, but what's your last name" Draco asked curiously

"We don't have one" they both answered at the same time with their heads down and clumsily stomping on the spot, at first Draco frowned in confusion, but then he understood because only people without noble blood don't have surnames.

"so you are servants?" Darco asked wrinkling her nose a little wondering how a princess could play with such people.

Hearing the question, the girl and the boy nodded their heads and answered "Yes", seeing this the princess turned her sharp gaze to Draco.

"Don't you dare talk to them like that," hissed the princess.

Surprised by the princess's reaction, draco didn't know what to say "But..." Unable to finish the sentence because the princess interrupted him.

"I am not interested in the fact that they have neither title nor surname, they are my friends and that will remain so and I will ask you to leave us alone now, if not I will call the guards and they will take you out of here" the situation had changed drastically and the princess's look full of hatred was directed at him.

Not wanting to upset the princess even more, draco turned and left where he came from, he was angry at the princess who thinks the servants are better than him, he returned to his mother who asked how it went, to which he replied that he did not want to talk about it.

And that was the only day their paths crossed until today.

Returning back to reality Draco slowly approached the princess "Look look what we have here" said Draco with a sly smile on his face.

Frightened by the unexpected company, Cassandra dropped the plucked flowers and turned towards her opponent and saw the boy she hoped to never meet again.

"Draco" cassandra mouthed his name like poison over her lips.
